Chapter 70 – Taeka King
As Dolis stomps his feet on the ground, the wolves growled at him but no one dared approach him seeing how he easily deflected their leader. Dolis sneered at how weak they are as he tries to provoke them by charging at three wolves and kicks them with the same manner as Yaite. Seeing this, the wolves became infuriated, even the ones heading towards Cheil and Nelus stopped and turned around facing Dolis.
Dolis: Hahh… and here I thought that werewolves during midnight becomes extremely strong who knew you could all be so weak. Well it is understandable when facing someone like me! Hahaahah!!
Werewolves are creatures that are extremely hard to rank up. In their history only a handful managed to get to S rank and none managed to get to X rank. Even if their rank is lower than others what makes them become one of the great sub races in the land of darkness? It is because of their shocking offensive power which equal someone 1 rank above theirs, their only weakness is their defense but makes up for it using numbers and during a full moon is where they truly become terrifying, only in this certain day their power will exceed by a certain amount, an S rank werewolf will have the power of a peak X rank during only at this time while an A rank like Yaite will gain powers of a peak S rank but considering his rank being closer to mid level he is now at least in the lowest level of an X rank which was already terrifying but against a guardian beast like Dolis will it be so simple?
Dolis: Oh? Are you angry? Then attack all you want!
Dolis shouted as Yaite went back to his feet and attacked Dolis including the other wolves. His figure then turned a little smoky as Yaite tries to bite him. Yaite then was shocked… his fangs passed through Dolis as if he was biting air as well as the others wolves. No matter how much they bite or claw as Dolis all of it passes through him. He then started laughing, Yaite who couldn’t take it anymore imbued darkness into his claws but it still passes through. Dolice kicked Yaite’s face again as a few fangs fell on the floor because of the impact. The wolves then retreated a little. Yaite staggered as he stood up, he imbues wind magic into his claws this time as he claws at Dolis.
Yaite: Gggrrrr!! Taste this!!
Dolis: That hurts!
Even if the damage was lessened because of Dolis’ form damage is still damage. Dolis really is a very powerful beast that can nullify physical and dark based attacks but the only things that can affect him are elemental attacks. As Dolis becomes infuriated he neighed as he rises up his front body into the air as Yaite couldn’t help but gulp, regretting his actions as Dolis stomped at Yaites head using his enormous wait creating a crater on the ground… but it didn’t stop there…
Dolis: How dare you!!
Yaite: Gguuffuuh… wait… I!
Dolis: This is for damaging my perfect skin!
Yaite: Gaahh!! Help m… gguu!!!
Dolis: This is for thinking you are far superior than the brilliant me!!
Yaite: Please… stop… graaahh!!
Dolis: Hmph!
Again and again Dolis stamped over Yaites body as it slowly bury into the ground until his body is completely under the ground with a large hole in the bottom, all the wolves started trembling as Dolis pouted, and he looks at the miniature wound on his skin healing at a fast rate as he becomes angry again. He bites the skin on the back neck of Yaite who helplessly dangle about and pleads for mercy as Dolis’ three eyes glowed as his figure splits into three he threw Yaite into the sky and as he fell down he kicks him with his hind hooves as it smashes into the stomach destroying a few ribs. As some blood splattered on Dolis’ eyes it sting him as Dolis was fuming. By this time Yaite’s consciousness was fading as the second Dolis kicks him towards the third as the third charges his power… as for Yaite… he was crying… the wolves felt pity for him but more than that they felt terror. As the Yaite headed towards the third, some voices can be heard.
Fios: Man… so the horse is that powerful huh…
Fios said with as his face paled. All of those affected by the spell put into their food were now awake because of Calice and when they saw Yaite they didn’t feel angry at him anymore instead they felt that it would be better if they were still asleep and didn’t look as the carnage in front of them. Only Nelus and Cheil remained unaffected. Yaite’s body neared Dolis as Dolis… stopped… Yaite’s body was grabbed by Dolis’ humanoid form as he deeply sighed, seeing that the wound was gone his anger subsided and let go of Yaite. He then turned toward the other wolves as they… lies on the ground exposing their bellies… it meant they surrendered their whole selves to Dolis, of course Dolis who was unaware of this as this was the first time he saw such a thing thought that they were just playing dead because of how brilliant he was so he put on a pose as he puts his hand on his forehead and muttered.
Dolis: Fufufu! How cowardly, are you all so afraid of the awesome and cool Dolis? Then revere me! Bring me your hay!
The wolves then put high quality hay in front of him which comes from the plants outside their village, sometimes Dolis comes here to eat some but gathering them was troublesome as it only has patches by patches around the forest so he needed to search around before eating some. It comes from the plant called Falerta which looks a little like grass except for its grayish color. As Dolis ordered them they all dispersed in the forest in hopes to find some and seeing the large amounts of hay Dolis was pleased.
Dolis: Oho!! Delicious! Exquisite! Dolis then started to eat them as all the wolves sit down around him. Yaite who just woke up goes near them and does the same and watch Dolis as he eats the hay with reverence in their eyes. Nelus sighed as the others became tired as Olpa said.
Olpa: Let’s go back to the inn…
Kana: Agreed…
Dolis: Hahahahah!!!
Nelus and the others returned to their respective rooms. Olpa and the others slept like a log as throughout the night Dolis’ arrogant laugh can be heard. Once morning came Nelus and the others exited the inn as Yaite who was covered fully with wounds bowed to them and said.
Yaite: I hope you slept well… Boss Dolis has returned for now and he will create a tunnel directly connecting to our village.
As Yaite said that he unconsciously trembled.
Yaite: Boss Dolis left a message, here… take it.
Yaite then gives me a crystal and as I put some of my mana into it, Dolis’ voice can be heard.
Dolis: Hahahah!! Today was fun if ever you need something, just use this crystal to find the brilliant me!
Hearing the message, Olpa and the others couldn’t help but smile wryly as they head on back but before doing so they asked Yaite what the closest dwelling to their village was.
Yaite: It is the Agante City which east from here.
Olpa: Agante City!?
Nelus: One of the main war zones… we need to hurry we took up too much time because of the ambush.
As we exit the village, Yaite waived at us with a solemn expression as they close the gates. We then headed east as fast as we can and after a while we heard something… a large scale battle was taking place and as we look closer Nelus saw a familiar figure among them.
???: Hah!! So strong worthy to rival my power!
???: I see you’re strength is as crude as ever.
???: Gahaahah!! Cellux, you too haven’t change a bit!
Cellux: Trigus, I still remember the time we fought in the war before and this time I will win again!
Trigus: As if!! Gaahahaah!!!!
It was Cellux fighting a large man with 10 purple wings, short purple hair and velvet eyes. He was a little bit taller that Cellux with a figure full of muscles that does not lose to Andros. I then used God’s eyes towards him.

Cellux then rushes towards him as he throws a punch, Trigus grinned as he faces the punch head on as he punches too. Their fists collide as an immense wave spread throughout the field as the soldiers from both sides were blown away. The soldiers couldn’t help but stop fighting and get far away. The beings of light revere Cellux as a being of legend and Trigus as one of the two who was revered as the second strongest in the land of darkness, as for the other one, it was Riseos. Cellux seeing Nelus signaled that this was a personal fight as Nelus nodded.
Seeing Nelus’ approval, Cellux couldn’t help but become motivated as he doesn’t want to disgrace himself in front of Nelus. Cellux then used the spell, Lux Cannon as large amount of light gathered on his palm as it forms a sphere. Rings representing power formed in front of him as it aligns itself. Trigus anchors himself on the ground and uses Nox Armament as darkness completely covers both of his arms. Cellux then points his arm towards Trigus as he releases a beam that once it passes through the rings it became incomparably bugger. Trigus blocks it with both of his arms. As the beam slowly fades, Trigus gave a smile as it turns into shock.
Cellux was in front of him… he then saw that the other arm of Cellux was pointed upwards towards the sky… he used another Lux cannon as it heads towards the sky, Trigus became cautious as he knew that once Cellux does something it isn’t for naught. Cellux covers the beam with divinity as it forms a giant sword made of light. Trigus immediately crosses his arms to block it as it came just too fast. Cellux swings his arm downwards as the giant sword smashes itself on Trigus.
What Cellux used was one of the new stances that he added apart from the 15 original ones Divine Combat Style: Stance 20, Sword of Divinity, a formidable technique made by him. Afterwards the soldiers of darkness became pale as the soldiers of divinity became excited seeing Cellux’ powers up close. Trigus was still smiling with a hint of pain hidden within his eyes as one of his arm dangles as his strength left it while his other arm was severely injured.
Trigus: Gahahaha!! Magnificent power Cellux!!
Cellux: As expected… you managed to get through one of my personal stance.
Trigus: Then I too will use a stance!
Cellux: With your arms like that?
Trigus: Who said I am going to use my arms? My legs are more powerful.
Trigus said with a confident smile as Darkness covered his legs… what he was using was cursed aura. Just like the beings of divinity’s energy called divinity the beings of darkness have what you call Cursed Aura. Unlike the beings of divinity who was born with their energy, the beings of darkness can only gain the ability to use such power is once they ascend and the uses for it varies per person, it can be weak or strong, it all depends on how you use it. Right now what he was using with the cursed aura was Taekan Stance 15, Corrosive Collision.
Trigus headed towards Cellux as Cellux gritted himself as he used another attack which was Divine Combat Style: Stance 21, Divine Oppression which was called an incomplete technique but was still a formidable one. Cellux added divinity in his pressure as he activates Divine Combat Style: Stance 20, Sword of Divinity except this time it was incomparably smaller than the previous sword but it was much, much stronger. Divine Oppression wasn’t an offensive stance but a supportive one! It causes great burden on the opponent as it puts an immense pressure on them and the weaker they are than the user the stronger the force that pushes down on them. It also has another use, it can strengthen some other stance by condensing their energy using divine pressure! Trigus jumps towards Cellux with great speed as he does a flying kick towards Cellux, Cellux then swings his sword as their energies collide.
Cellux then grits his teeth and tries to push back Trigus, Trigus’ cursed aura was then spreading throughout Cellux’ arms as it tries to slowly devour it and converts it to vital energy to heal Trigus. It felt like the longest seconds as they kept pushing back each other. Trigus was using his cursed aura to boost himself forward despite being on the air as Cellux increases his divine pressure… suddenly… both were pushed back. Cellux’ sword disappears as well as Trigus’ cursed aura, Trigus gave a hearty laugh and said.
Trigus: Gahahaha!!! Very good! Very… good…
Trigus said as his consciousness fades… a portal appeared near him as a figure came out.
Cellux: Riseos.
Riseos: That’s me! Guess what? I’ll be taking this muscle head bye! Oh! I almost forgot.
Riseos then pointed his palm towards the ground under the soldiers as a thread of darkness pierces through it. Riseos grinned as he took Trigus and the portal disappears. Nelus then used Gaia Prison to suppress the energy within the ground but even if he does so, the explosion that happened underground caused a great shockwave that damaged everyone whether it was allies or enemies. Nelus casts Flame Barrier around Olpa and the others as Rido stood in front of everyone. As Olpa tries to stop him Rido clenches his fist and pushed away Olpa. What made him act this way was because a barrier is rather susceptible to shockwaves as the force was still there even if the damage is nullified.
As the shockwave hits Cellux, Cellux dug his foot into the ground as he pushes forward with ease despite the energy that he has used. It then hits the soldiers as some of them dies because of their inside being crushed as some were left with severe injusries. As for the ones inside the barrier only Rido has taken the most damage. Nelus was outside the barrier as he withstood the shockwave easily. He then head to Olpa and the others as Rido was lying on Olpa’s lap.
Olpa: Commander…
Nelus: Leave it to me.
Nelus then casts Aqua Rejuvenation as well as Restore to heal him. After a while Cellux approached us.
Cellux: How disheartening…
Cellux frowned as he looks around the area, mostly everyone was severely injured… he then used Heal on himself as he used a crystal to call reinforcements to take back the wounded soldiers. As reinforcements came they took the wounded on an artifact that looks like a boat floating on the sky being pulled by Slephnirs it was their personal artifact, Wing Ark. Olpa then approaches one of the soldiers that came and said.
Olpa: Can you please take Rido with you?
???: Ah… of course.
The soldier then carried the unconscious Rido as his wounds were still healing while it was covered in water. One of the soldiers then approached Cellux with admiration in his eyes and said.
???: Lord Cellux, your injured too, why don’t you return for a while?
Cellux: Hahh… no need, these much is nothing, I’ll continue to stay on the battlefield.
???: As expected of Lord Cellux we soldiers are rooting for you!
The soldier said as he left, Cellux then faces Nelus and kneeled.
Cellux: Lord Nelus let me come with you.
Nelus: Okay.
Olpa and the others had their jaws dropped, who was in front of them? It was Cellux the legendary figure amongst the beings of divinity, but that wasn’t what made them shocked as they already knew of his existence as he showed himself before the start of the war, what made them shocked was “the” Cellux was kneeling in front of their commander, they further thought who was Nelus as Cellux answered as he saw their confused faces.
Cellux: Lord Nelus is the previous king of Divines. (Ruler of all beings, Creator of Alxia)
Cellux said and thought at the same time as Olpa and the others became speechless… they only knew Nelus as their teacher as well as commander as they heard Cellux their minds went blank. Some of the soldiers have heard Cellux as word spread around like wildfire as they thought…
Everyone-in-unison: (Eh…?)
Some of the commanders who were against the choice of Nelus being the commander had cold sweat profusely come out as they became glad that they didn’t excessively go against it. As for Melgard, the previous commander of Olpa and the others, once he heard the news he became pale that he would go against someone with such authority that he fainted. After a while something happened… the wing ark was attacked while headed to the land of light…
