Chapter 3 – Magic Disruption

Hearing Nebulus' words. the figure sneered in disbelief as she doubted as such. In Alxia, such amount of magic power can rarely be found in Alxia and most of it are from high ranked magic, as for his soul search it is only counted as a low rank magic for the Gods.

???: Surely you jest. No mere search magic can cause such mana fluctuation.

Nebulus: Well its too late to do anything now… at least tell me your name?

The large bushes rustle and split apart revealing a beautiful elven woman with blonde hair and blue eyes with an enraged expression like she will attack at any moment. Although the large trees' shadow around them towers their surroundings his godly eyes cannot be obstructed.

Elven Woman: You cannot escape us… oh it seems you have a comrade?

The elven woman said with a sneer as she thought it was futile even if there were one more person helping her.

Nebulus: I am not…

Elven Woman: Silence! I have with me the Elven Maiden of Divinity Reila so even you can’t run or hide anymore even if you are stronger.

Nebulus: If so then I can go now.

Nebulus then headed towards the nearest path as the elven woman furrowed her brows as she seemed to sense something from Nebulus...

Elven Woman: Nonsense!... Wha… such an aura, even higher than the beings closest to God like Reila and the winged ones… and I can’t still read your status with … why would someone like you be with a shadow?

The elven woman said, startled... as her mouth hanged open.

Nebulus: As I am saying I am not her comrade. She disrupted an important magic I was casting.

Elven Woman: Just like us… that shadow named Tiana disrupted an ancient ritual for elves in naming a new elder.

Looking at Tiana she isn’t a large black humanoid anymore. She was instead a woman with a voluptuous body wearing a black cloak that seems to be searing like black flames flickering. Under her cloak all he can see is her silver eyes and black hair.

They can’t quite see much of her features but surely seem to know that she is indeed beautiful and quite rare for the shadow race. Maybe it is because she is a half that it is suppressed in a way. A shadow has red eyes and large spiky teeth.  Some of them are beautiful but when they smile they feel monstrous and so far Nebulus hasn’t felt anything like that when she smiled her teeth seems to be normal except for her 2 sharp tooth of that belongs to a vampire.

So she might have been a vampire, as a parent and a shadow for another and it said high shadow noble so her shadow parent is a noble. Dark element beings have not much discrimination towards races. Other races, when 2 half breeds or a half with a pure were to make a child they make a half or a quarter and such depending on the parents. As for dark element being a half and a half can make a pure blood or a half and a pure can make either a half or pure. So if a demon and shadow half has children with the same set of half it will either become a demon or a shadow pure blood or if a demon and shadow half has children with a demon and void they will make either a demon pure or a demon and shadow/void or a void and shadow, Nebulus thought.

Elder: I can see it from his eyes there is no hostility in it believe me I have lived thousands of years as the only elven immortal, he is not like the one called Tiana over there casting a shadow escape spell. !

Tiana: Urgh…

Bright golden chains tied around Tiana, as she struggles free a dark waves slices through it, it was her skill .

Elder: You thought I would let you escape just like that? If you cannot come with us peacefully we have no choice.

Tiana: Tch! You dare attack me!? I will therefore return the favor with my !

Hundreds of javelins made of light rain upon Tiana using the light spell as a large dome made from shadow covered above her somehow manage to deflect some of them, it was a shadow based spell, . As a few got past the dome as it pierces through, she casts a black flame on her palm that seems to eat the javelins and grows bigger. Each being has magic of their own creation and is free to manipulate its form, their magic can even have similarities towards other's magic with similar names but the efficiency and effect may vary. Some even made it so that their magic will be passed on to others either by generation or by teaching. The world of magic is vast and the possibilities are endless.

Elder: This is getting too dangerous! Everyone do not cast any magic, that flame is an extremely rare magic the shadows have… I thought only Guleus the Shadow Warlord Emperor has that kind of magic…

Tiana: You leave me no choice but to use this magic. I will eradicate everyone here!

Reila: No…no! if the elder cannot defeat her how can someone like me…

Mila: P-please! I just got married… please spare us.

On Tiana’s palm was a large 5 Feet black flame getting larger as it absorbs a massive amount of mana from the surroundings… suddenly... a sharp blast of wind cuts the flame as it shatters into hundreds of pieces like it was nothing. As Nebulus walked closer he released more of his aura. She finally felt fear, fear like no other. Having an existence rank of S is no joke as it is the Highest know rank in Alxia but this man in front of her feels many times stronger than any other she had met. What she didn't know is that limits his body and what she is feeling is just his godly aura. She had met an S rank one before and she is accustomed to it but the pressure before her now was something new. Finally she had thought: How could a man such as this exist!?

Tiana: Wha-what!? How!? Guah…

Nebulus was a few feet apart from Tiana suddenly appears in front of her. She tried to block instinctively as Nebulus was throwing a punch but as the punch got closer it stopped, inches from her blocking arm. Tiana was confused for a split second. Bursting winds burst forth as his magic was amplified by his combat stance and sent powerful shockwaves that passes through her and fell down on her knees and finally lying sideways on the floor. The shockwaves can be felt even far away as all the elves shuddered from the power. Everyone was dumbfounded on what happened. Their way of thinking was that only mana and one's imagination can affect magic but to Gods it is common sense that combat styles and martial arts can amplify the magic used. Nebulus has done it to amplify the power of his E Rank skill <0Gale Control> since he felt that it wasn't enough to incapacitate her unlike those thugs from earth whom are ordinary mortals.

Nebulus: Can I go now?
