Note: Should I change my updates to once every two days? :-( It seems my lack of sleep is getting to me but at the same time I don’t want to get rid of my streak until the end of volume 5… DX

A bit of something XD as well as seriousness. Tomorrow is the .5 chapter I am talking about, I hope you are looking forwards to it and I think I would still post day by day despite what I said of the two day post. Also after that event chapter starts the war.

Chapter 65 – War Meeting

The next day came and the first thing I saw was… Altan and Tania sleeping on my bed with serene expressions as they sometimes turn and move about while sleeping. Someone then enter my room with a slightly troubled expression… it was Terul

Terul: Good morning sir Nelus.

Nelus: When outside school you could just call me Nelus.

Terul: T-then Ne… lus…

Terul said with an awkward expression as her face suddenly becomes downcast. I then decided to ask.

Nelus: Terul is there something wrong?

Terul hesitates as she stops herself from speaking while having an embarrassed, expression.

Terul: Do I still resemble a man?

Nelus: Hmm?

Terul: You see… master… or should I say Altan and Lina wanted to see school again one day and Zala approved. Of course to make sure there isn’t anyone of my race is nearby I have to come too. People then started to talk behind us while I hold Altan’s hand.

Terul said as she becomes further depressed as she looks down at the ground.

Nelus: What were they saying?

Terul: It was “Oh? It seems Zala is walking with little Lina and look its little Altan but who is that man with him?”.

Tania: I see you’re taking it quite well to be regarded as a female, if I remember correct just some time before you still hated being a woman. Are you finally accepting it because of master?

Tania said while she was still lying on my bed as her eyes abruptly opened as Terul suddenly had a flustered and frantic expression as she said.

Terul: I-It’s not like that! A… its… its because I have no choice but to live this way… that’s right! It’s because of that!

Her talking that way just makes it less believable as I inwardly sighed.

Tania: Its because you’re always wearing that hooded cloak and mask that people mistake you as a man. Why don’t we buy you some clothes? It seems you only have male clothing with you. Is it alright father?

Nelus: It’s alright.

Terul: I-I couldn’t possibly…

Nelus: I’m fine with it. You are after all looking after Altan so just take it as a gift.

Tania: Don’t worry father can easily cover the expenses and we’ll take master with us.

Terul: If you insist… then I shall thank you in advance.

Terul said as she bowed with gratitude. After lunch we decided to head to the city as Terul was still wearing the cloak and the mask. I see how they can mistake her as a man if wearing that, the cloak seems bulky making her body look muscular.

Altan: Papa where are we going?

Nelus: To buy some clothes for Terul.

Altan: Oh… ah! That Papa! We go there.

Altan said as he pointed towards the jewelry store

Altan: When all sleep and Terul and me walk together alone. Terul always look here!

Terul: (Eh? Master you noticed…? I guess my mind is also totally turning female as time passes so I unconsciously looked at it with interest.)

Nelus: I see, I heard that Terul sometimes gives you a walk around the city before the sun rises.

Altan: Yes papa! Papa coins!!

Terul: Master what are you doing…?

Nelus: Here you are…

Terul: Nelus? You can’t just keep giving him money whenever he ask you, show some restraint.

Tania: Those aren’t, father’s but master’s.

Terul: Eh? What do you mean?

Nelus: I have been giving him bits of money time by time so that he could learn about using it properly; I got the idea from Rezald. Rezald has also been teaching him to count as well as read.

Afterwards, Altan came back with a proud look as if telling to praise him as he had bought something alone. Looking at him like that made the people look at us with warm gazes. On Altan’s hand was a box. As he handed it to Terul, she opens it and it almost made her cry as she became teary eyed. It was a pair of Pearl earrings that she was always looking at as it reminds her of the ocean from the past when she was still living in it. Behind the mask she was smiling earnestly, if a man were to see this they would have the urge to comfort this gentle beauty.

Terul: B-but master… doesn’t this cost quite a lot?

Altan: I no need money now; I like to see Terul smile and stop calling master! Ehe. Is Terul happy?

Altan said with a shy expression as he looks at Terul with a smiling face. A warm sensation spread through Terul’s chest, she was always depressed because she taught that she was only here because she was forced to be by the dragon bound but bit by bit that thought started to disappear as Altan shows that he actually cares for her. She then removes her mask revealing an exceptionally beautiful woman with blue hair and cerulean eyes fogged by tears as she hugged Altan. Everyone was dumbfounded at the appearance of the sudden beauty that they were frozen in place. Some of them wanted to approach her but seeing Terul’s gaze they dismissed the thought.

Terul: Yes, Terul is happy maste… Altan.

Altan: Good!

Tania: Then let’s continue on to the store.

Tania said with an expressionless face as Terul releases Altan from her hug as she grabs Altan’s hand. As we reach the clothing store, we tried to find something that fits her. As she tried clothing to clothing, more and more people started watching until… their mouths were wide open.

Terul: Is this okay?

Altan: Terul very pretty!

Hearing Altan a faint blush appeared on her face that somehow captivated the people around us. She was wearing a deep blue color dress with some white cloth parts like the chest area and around her skirt as well as the waist while accentuating her curve. She was also wearing the pearl earrings Altan gave her which matched with the dress perfectly.

Nelus: Now no one will mistake you for a man and I’ll buy a few other sets that fit you from the ones before also.

As we finish it was night time, as we went home Rezald, Fala, Frei and Jisa cheered at the new look of Terul saying that it really fits her.

On the next day… I immediately dashed out after hearing the commotion from outside… as I see the people around the certain area I passed through them and saw an angel which was already dead he was holding a letter and inside it was a message stating that the war will officially start. I then told Ciall and the others as they notified everyone. It seems the meeting will take place earlier than expected.

Cellux told me that the only ones involved in the war were the Colad, Divine, Angels and Salph but right now the Xaelos and Luminant are joining in. The representatives were… Melzir from the colad race, Wedea from the Xaelos, Halvard, Andros, Ciall and Cellux himself. Later they went to the reserved room of Lux academy to begin their discussion.

Melzir: How wonderful of the great Cellux to have the time to be with us!

Melzir said with sparkling eyes while admiring Cellux.

Cellux: Thank you too Melzir as well as all of you for coming .Now lets start the meeting.

Cellux said as an uneasy expression appeared on Ciall’s face as he faces Cellux and said.

Ciall: Fath… I mean, Lord Cellux, did you notice the commotion earlier?

Cellux: Yes, Lord Nelus told me that they are finally making their move.

Wedea then grips her fist in rage saying that we should challenge them head on.

Wedea: I say lets just crush them all!

Wedea said while emitting thick killing intent as she simmers down after hearing Halvard’s explanation.

Halvard: That’s too reckless… I say lets find a solution on how we shall tackle this.

Andros: I heard that the school, Nelus and his students are going well.

Halvard: How about splitting them to each division will that be okay?

Halvard said towards Andros as if asking permission as Andros nodded and said.

Andros: No problem that is the reason I have them thought elemental magic in the first place after all.

Wedea: We need to be careful too so that there wouldn't be much casualties among the civilians.

Melzir: At least the war will start at the border and was agreed upon by both sides to avoid civilians.

Halcard: Indeed it seems quite fair to both sides.

Wedea: I’ll have my army wait in our city just call us when needed. Also let me have some of those whom was taught by Nelus or his students as we will need it.

Halvard: Understood. On the border we need to be careful of magical beast too as it is still quite abundant there.

Ciall: I have to agree… the Beings of darkness are quite used to the land of darkness

Melzir: Yes… and those lands are totally in their favor.

Melzir said while perplexed.

Cellux: One of the things you need to be careful of are the 3 leaders of the three race that issued all this.

Cellux said while clenching his fists. Noticing this Ciall immediately asks while worried.

Ciall: Umm… father?

Cellux noticed Ciall’s worried reaction and coughed as he sweep away these feelings as he doesn’t want Ciall to worry.

Andros had an extremely serious expression as if he knows what Cellux was thinking.

Andros: I agree we need to be careful of the three especially the leader of the void.

I had been observing the meeting from a distance as per Cellux' instruction... the void... Cellux was in a war in the past as he battled until his fall. I remember that question that how did he survive that time? During the meeting many questions popped out of my head than what is answered. Other than that it was going quite smoothly.

Wedea: What is with the leader of the void?

Wedea said while confused why they need to be weary of them as for a long set of generations they haven't move much so their powers are still quite a mystery to others. As for the two leaders of the races left, the one well known was Riseos the demon. Once Cellux heard his name he cannot contain the fury in his heart but luckily Ciall manages to calm him down. For the Taeka their leader is a brute woman named Feralli who prioritize on improving her power as well as those who follow her. She too can be troublesome due to the morale she can amass.

Cellux: I don't know if the void has changed throughout these years but I feel that somehow they have gotten stronger... they were the... key to my near downfall at the war in the past... somehow because of my defeat some parts of my memories are sealed and I don't know why.

Melzir: Lord Cellux... its going to be okay this time! For years all of us are already prepared for such events as the war with them are sometime unavoidable.

Andros: That I know of.

Andros said with a wry smile as he has witnessed everything ever since the war with Cellux but he too had a feeling that wars with the beings of darkness are unavoidable. As he didn't think the reason is that darkness is the opposite of light as they got quite along quite well in the past... something happened that shattered these two types of beings' friendship... Andros KNEW what the reason is he can feel it but he had such trouble recalling it.

Andros: (I too had an inconsistency within my memories... though I can't shake this feeling of anxiousness whenever I thought about this.)

Halvard: I too wish to know these circumstances too if there is by any chance that you remember somehow please tell us and you said that your memories are sealed? Will you let e take a look at it?

Halvard said while pondering as mental magic was one of their forte. As Halvard placed his hand on Cellux' forehead he tried to see if he could go further into his consciousness and felt an invisible force pushing him out. As it successfully push out Halvard, he turned pale and staggered.

Melzir: Are you alright Halvard?

Halvard: He is right... the one who sealed his memories is extremely strong... also it seems that some his memories are sealed up good. I am afraid that this is beyond something I can handle.

Cellux: Its alright as you tried your best.

Wedea: Still... this was the first time those three appeared to have wanted war or at least it was the first time for me. What could be the reason of their sudden actions?

Cellux: I don't know but something feels quite ominous...

Another slightly shorter chapter XD quite busy… midterms tests are coming I need to study, wish me luck. :-)

Even if I’m tired I don’t know why but I really love to write! :-D
