Zero then finds himself back in the chaos realm.
Zero's thoughts divert back to one of his problems.
If he just goes into random doors, while yes, he will end up in different places at different times.
It is too random.
What he needs is a map.
But to have a map of the chaos realm... means he would need to go through all of the doors.
If this place is infinite... that is literally impossible.
Not to mention that even besides the doors, at every single position he finds himself in is also a hidden door that is his pocket watch.
So he decides to make a map in ECHO.
This will go in slot 3 in his sea of consciousness.
If he can map out the chaos realm.
He should be able to go to any multiverse.
Any time.
Any place.
So how exactly will he make such chaos consistent?
He'll build structures in the chaos realm.
A road that he can travel on.
One that is mapped out.
But he'll need to experiment.
For example.
What happens if he builds a door in the chaos realm.
Not one that was already there.
When he opens it.
Will it be functional?
Where will it go?
He can use nanites to build things... but he'll need matter.
So he walks in the chaos.
Then clicks the crown hoping he lands in a place with vast resources.
He ends up in Egypt.
Right in front of a Pharaoh.
The Pharaoh gets up from his throne and bows down while calling out:
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
"netjer!"
"What?"
He cannot understand their language.
So they bring him a stone tablet with hieroglyphs.
He could not read those either.
It would sure make it easier if the multiverse all used the same language... without any changes due to time.
Sigh.
He has have echo sift through all recorded languages from his infinite library.
So in the future, this will not be a problem.
He'll simply need to scan the brain of the person with a different language to understand them.
But, that'll have to wait until later.
He doesn't have a brain scanner on him.
----------------------------------------
Eventually... through enough charades.
They understand that I want materials.
I wait till 3:00 PM and open up a portal to the chaos realm.
They have men bring in the building materials. But we soon realize that none of them come out.
So I walk into the portal and see floating men frozen in place.
Their black hair is turning grey.
It looks as if they are rapidly aging.
I wonder why that happens to them, but not to me?
I retrieve the man unable to move; bring them back out.
They have seizures and die shortly afterwards.
But they write their experiences down with hieroglyphs beforehand.
Then draw a design for some type of pyramid.
Probably nothing too important to worry about.
So, we have to change the method of them giving me materials.
It would seem its a bad idea for anybody else other then me to step into the chaos realm
So they decide to simply stack the building materials right outside the portal and have me manually use nanites to break it down into material that can be used for building.
I then start my plan to map out the chaos realm.
First I must set a foundation.
After moving in large amounts of soil and stone, I begin construction.
I make a homemade door around the portal.
When I close the door the portal closes as well.
I've now disconnected from that place in the multiverse.
I then open the door and it leads to the center of a star.
The place is the same.
But the sun has expanded into a red giant.
This destroys the door and nearly kills me.
I sit there in the chaos thinking.
I must keep this in mind for my map of the chaos realm.
Not only does distance matter.
But time matters as well.
So you can't simply make a 3D map.
It has to be 4D.
Width, height, length, trength.
Everything in reality has dimensions to it.
X, Y, Z, W.
So he needs not to only walk to a certain location.
But he needs to walk there at a certain time.
No wonder the time on his watch is constantly shifting depending on his location.
He then realizes that he'll need to be able to perceive the fourth dimension.
Everything he is seeing is 3D.
That is why things seem so random.
It is as if some 2D entity in a circle is trying to leave it. But can only perceive a 2D plane.
But if they saw it in 3D... they would simply be able to walk over the line.
So he must fundamentally change how he sees the world.
Maybe this is the secret to how Gods and Ancient beings warp through time and space.
They simply see reality differently already.
Maybe this is why one must go insane in "Paradox".
It is so you can see reality in this different perspective.
After understanding this.
It is as if the chaos realm shifts into tree roots.
He finds himself at branching tunnels.
Both ahead and behind him.
Zero can see other versions of himself walking along each path.
All going through different realities.
"Still not enough?"
Once he sees the organization in the chaos.
He will need to learn the patterns of time.
If he can do that, he will be able to travel freely.
He'll still need to make a path forward though.
"It isn't yet time for me to build a map. I can start on it. But I should first follow step 6."
"I need to explore the multiverse and get more power."
"Once I reach the summit. My perspective should further allow me to make progress in the Law of Time and Space."
"Right now... all I can do is build a road using the materials from those men, and slowly map out these doors and the when and where they will take me."
I should first create a portable brain scanner.
Or possibly add the function to my nanites.
