This time I find myself surrounded by oceans of lava.

Mountains made of skulls.

Soil made from flesh and souls.

I'm approached by something.

A floating piece of paper appears in front of me.

I read through the terms and find it to be very vague.

I'd rather not sign such a sketchy paper.

My vision changes perspective as I see the ground below me.

I also see my headless body.

Did I really just die that easily.

At least I'll go back to when I drew that 'S', right?

Nope.

I can feel part of myself in the abyss.

But my connection to the Hivemind seems to be cut.

I go into the VR environment, but find that I am the only one there.

"Just where has everyone gone?"

I pull the pocket watch out of my pocket and look at the time.

The hour hand is spinning so fast that I can barely keep track of it.

"Wait... how is the watch following my spirit body? I suppose that's what he meant when he said it doesn't exist. It will follow me no matter what reality I am in."

Wait... this isn't my spirit body.

My real body restarted in the abyss!?

I remember that he told me that at 12:00 AM exactly. If you click it, you will go into the chaos realm.

But with it moving so fast... clicking it at the right time, would be hard.

I suppose I can stop time here by turning the crown three times.

It takes a few attempts. But I eventually get it to stop at 12:00 AM.

I then click the crown.

I find myself in a space I would describe as 'red'.

It is as if I am in liquid. Like that of blood.

But it is also bright.

I also see wormholes and blackholes and stars.

I look down at the pocket watch in my hand.

It is moving forwards and backwards at the same time.

As I begin to 'walk'... It changes.

Sometimes it is blank.

Sometimes it stops completely.

Sometimes it flows backwards.

I really have no idea where I am.

I know I'm in the chaos realm.

But none of this makes sense.

It is as if I am in a hallway.

There are doors all around.

But as I move towards them.

They get further and further away.

I decide to click the crown.

I then find myself unable to breathe.

I am on the moon and can see the earth.

Somethings feels as if it is boiling

After about 15 seconds I pass out.

I then find myself in the abyss again.

I get the clock to 12:00 AM again and click the crown.

I find myself in the chaos realm again.

This time though I am within arm reach of a door.

I try to move towards it, but I make no progress.

But when I reach out to it. It gets closer.

I open the door and see what I would call a park and a tree.

I step in and the door closes and disappears afterwards.

It would seem I have left the chaos realm.

Where exactly am I?

I walk from behind the tree and I see a man and a small man playing catch.

A person walking their dog.

A woman jogging.

Outside of the park... besides the nature.

I see skyscrapers and buildings.

Things seem roughly modern.

While I'm wondering where I am.

A woman comes up to me and initiates a conversation.

"How did you do that?"

"Do what?"

"You just appeared out of thin air."

Ahhh... I see. she spotted me walking through that door.

"How did you get here?"

"I walked. You should try it sometime."

She then pulls out what I assume in a communication device from older times.

"Can you do it again?"

"Walk?"

"The door closed, so no. Not really."

I then pull out my watch and check the time.

4:57 PM

I suppose I have a few hours to kill.

So I begin to talk with her.

Apparently the year is 2017.

I'm not even sure if I'm in the same multiverse anymore.

Likely I am not.

Otherwise I would be able to connect to my Hivemind.

It feels a little lonely.

The woman's name is Oat.

She is 24 years old.

When I told her I was around 4 years old. But was born in the future.

She thought I was lying.

I then saw a small man eating something besides nutrient paste.

"What is that?"

I point towards the food in the 'child's' hand.

"You are weird. That is Ice-cream, how do you not know that?"

"Ohhhh"

"I've read about ice-cream in books. So that's what it looks like!"

"Are you really a time traveler?"

"I suppose I am?"

"Then where is your time machine? Can I go with you to the future?"

"This is my time machine"

I pull out my pocket watch.

"That's just a watch though... how does it allow you to travel through time?"

"Well... it doesn't allow me to travel through time exactly. It can do a variety of things, depending on the time."

"If you wait until tomorrow. I can open up a portal to the chaos realm."

"Can I step through it?"

I hesitate a little bit.

"No. it is too dangerous. You will definitely die."

"Then why do you do it?"

"I'm a Paradox. I do not know true death."

"A paradox?"

I become quiet after she ask me that question.

"So, where are you going to sleep tonight, Paradox?"

"You don't need to call me Paradox, Zero is fine."

"Zero?"

"What is your full name?"

"Zero #119"

"You really are from the future?"

"Yep."

"I'll ask again, where will you be sleeping tonight?"

"I don't require sleep?"

"You have insomnia?"

"No... my genome is designed not to require it."

"So where will you stay? It can be dangerous at night by yourself."

"There is no danger for me. Nothing from this time period should be able to hurt me."

"Well, the park closes at 7:00 PM"

"It closes?"

"You can't stay here tonight, you'll get arrested."

"Arrested?"

"Cops will take you down to jail, and you'll receive a fine."

"How will they give me a fine if I was never born in this world?"

"Fair point... You can stay at my place tonight if you want though."

"I'm fine. I'll be leaving in a few hours."

"Ok..."
