Whisk asked around and found out who his disciples friends were.
"It has to be one of her friends."
He narrowed it down after talking with each of her friends.
He eventually ran into Zero.
"Have you been working on potions?"
Zero sighed.
"Yep. Why?"
Whisk held out the 'relive' potion.
"Do you recognize it?"
Zero recognized it as one of the potions Alura had him brew.
"Yep. It's a 'Relive' potion."
Whisk asked:
"Are you the one that made this potion?"
"Yep."
"I'm a potioneering master, yet I can't understand the principles behind this potion. How were you able to craft such a thing?"
"...It was through my intuition."
Whisk was surprised.
He had read myths and legends of grandmasters at the highest stratum making new potions by using their intuition.
"Are you aware that this isn't even a public potion?"
"What?"
Whisk asked if Zero was willing to become his disciple.
"I have a master already..."
Whisk still didn't wish to leave his debt unpaid.
This 'Zero' had revived his father after all.
"You are an official wizard right? This is a little against the rules. But I can give you the passive spell model for rank 2. You can save a century of effort. Are you interested now?"
----------------------------------------
Zero thought back to his purpose for doing all of this.
He was trying to build chapters!
The longer it took for him to reach the top.

The better.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not interested. I am quite loyal you see. A master is for life."
"I see... you are wasting your potential. I would like to perform some test."
"Can you help me?"
Zero didn't see why he couldn't.
"Sure. What do you need help with?"
"First. I would like to see your process."
"Alright..."
Zero was taken to Whisk's lab.
"The materials and ingredients are here. Try to brew a 'iron skin' potion."
"Ok."
Zero began to brew.
Whisk watched with wide eyes.
He thought to himself that Zero's technique was perfect.
Too perfect in fact.
It was if he was a robot.
"It's as if he is a golem! Every action is carried out perfectly."
"But if he is able to make such a miracle potion... just what other things is he capable of?"
Whisk then began to make some theoretical potions he had failed in the past.
He gave Zero a description of the potion, its effects and the ingredients as well as the process for brewing it.
Zero succeeded making an 'Invulnerability' potion.
Whisk thought that he was quite talented already.
But seeing him casually make an impossible potion.
It made him question reality entirely.
It also inspired him.
Whisk started to give him ridiculous potions with ridiculous effects.
But every single time.
Zero made it successfully.
Whisk then had an idea.
"It seems that no matter what he does, he will be successful. So what if he made a potion that boost source? Or a potion that could forcefully breakthrough to the next stage?"
Whisk named the potion 'God Ignition' potion.
[ECHO]: Analyzing book
[ECHO]: "Time Walker"
[ECHO]: 3: Chapter 17: God Ignition Potion
The characteristics of this potion made it so the person would instantly ignite their sea of consciousness and breakthrough to the next level.
Whisk himself was a rank 3 Wizard.
His Source was at 2000.
He was quite anxious when he handed this theoretical potion to Zero.
Zero didn't even think about the future consequences of such a potion.
At this point, he had found out that he may have shown more ability then he should've.
Ah well.
Zero brewed it.
"This is the last potion I'll be making..."
----------------------------------------
Zero's POV:
Zero was becoming increasingly annoyed at having revealed his ability to will things into existence.
So after watching Whisk breakthrough to rank 4 forcefully from taking his 'God Ignition' Potion.
Zero decided to just not reveal this information to Alura, since she obviously couldn't keep a secret.
'Reload 1'
Zero could now will potions into existence with his new understanding of them.
He could pretty much give any effect he wanted to them.
"This is about the origin of that sword."
"What about it?"
"You said you found it in a rock. Can you show us the rock?"
"Sorry, I don't remember where the rock is."
"Okay..."
Zero signed a contract with the academy and became a professor for a century.
He then was able to acquire the spell model 'analyze'.
Since he had become an official wizard.
He was able to read the books in the higher tier.
He did a repeat of his actions and read through all of the books in the library.
Zero took the test for becoming a potioneering master and passed it.
He then 'invented' groundbreaking potions that forever changed the world.
Through his fame, he became friends with the rank 4 principle of the academy.
He was able to acquire the level 3 spell model 'blink'.
He had officially became a rank 3 wizard.
Afterwards.
The academy was attacked by warlocks.
He made great contributions to the battle.
The rank 4 wished to pass his inheritance to Zero.
But Zero declined.
Because he could now feel it.
He could feel that he was a single chapter away from being strong enough to break through to book 4!
