He made 1200 points a year.
A century went by.
During this time he wasn't merely just cleaning.
He was also cultivating!
He now had 121200 contribution points.
He was now a Foundation Level Saint.
This body now had its own spiritual sense as well as a spirit body.
By observing the changes to the body during his breakthrough as well as observing the natives of this world.
He was able to make an independent soul for this body and cut off the connection to his main body.
He is still able to observe himself though.
He merely cut off the connection of Laws.
This did mean he would eventually run out of chaos energy.
So his body would become no different from an ordinary mortals.
It would just take a few centuries.
On the bright side he didn't have to worry about chaos leaking into the environment
It was just your average day.
That was until he was summoned by Patriarch Elite.
"It says here in your records that you have been on cleaning duty for... over a century."
"Yep."
"Yet you look as if you haven't aged at all."
"Yep."
"What is your cultivation level?"
"Foundation."
"Yet you spend half of your longevity on nonsense?"
"I am in no short supply of longevity."
"Generally disciples will have expenses such as food, medicinal powder, injury treatment."
"It was noted by many disciples that they have never seen you in the cafeteria. Can you explain how this is possible? Where are you getting this energy from?"
"You aren't qualified to know such information."

"... Just who do you think you are?"
"I am a being which explores the countless multiverses. I am someone who can grasp infinite opportunity. A person that both knows and does not know death. I am everywhere and nowhere. I am a Paradox!"
"A paradox? Nonsense."
Zero simply shrugged.
"You wouldn't understand."
"Well Zero... would you like to be promoted to an inner sect disciple?"
"I'm good."
"May I ask why you refuse?"
"I'm already comfortable as an outer sect disciple. I don't plan to move."
"Very well..."
----------------------------------------
Since Zero was rich.
He thought it was time for him to get his own artifact.
He had the perfect idea for one.
A pocket watch!
One for this body.
One that he would create himself.
It wouldn't be as amazing as Time.
But he could use it to automate some things.
So he went to the most famous artificer in the sect.
Then gave him a blueprint.
He specified that he wanted to put the parts together himself.
He also left out the formations.
A year later he picked up all the parts.
He had to borrow tools from the artificer.
He spent 1200 contribution points on these parts.
After using the magnifying glass. He was able put the parts together.
He made sure to add a mechanism to destroy the runes if it is taken apart incorrectly.
He also added a small formation to open up his storage dimension.
As well as the ability to check the time.
He also added a shield mechanism for his own protection.
As well as an easy access to the back of the watch to change out spirit stones.
One stone could last for centuries anyways.
Less time if he was attacked and the shield needed to be used.
The watch looked golden instead of white.
He felt much better having access to his pocket watch again.
Even though it wasn't really the same functionality wise.
Since he was a foundation level saint.
He naturally had the ability to learn flying techniques.
Which he took advantage of.
So he now had the ability to fly.
What he needed next was the follow up cultivation techniques.
He went to the techniques department.
"I would like to buy the meditation technique for beyond the foundation level."
"There's no way you could afford it."
"Trust me, I have enough funds."
"Bullshit. A Core cultivation technique sells for 50,000 points! Where could you have gotten enough for it? Are you the son of the sect master?!"
"Silence!"
Some of the chaos was infused into Zero's voice.
For some reason the man handling techniques felt a primordial fear deep within his soul.
For a brief second it looked as if this mans eyes were white and green.
It was as if he was looking at an ancient beast.
But it was just for a second.
Zero then asked:
"Is buying my technique going to be a problem?"
"No sir! Scan your card!"
The man sighed in relief when he saw Zero scan his card and the transaction went through.
He was worried Zero would try to fight him for the techniques.
He quickly handed Zero a written contract that basically said he wouldn't teach others the technique without permission.
Zero signed and then received a crystal.
"Just input some of your spiritual sense into the ball. The information is all there."
Zero went back to his dorm and used the memory crystal.
The next step was called Core.
The difference between Core and Foundation is that the Core serves as a natural generator of spiritual energy.
Once someone breaks through to the core.
They no longer rely on the environment to produce Qi.
Inside the Core a generator produces all the spiritual energy the body needs.
Where exactly does this energy from?
It comes from the food the saint eats.
It no longer matters how dense the spiritual energy is in the environment.
Because a cultivator at the core level doesn't use external energy anymore.
Zero spent a few weeks familiarizing himself with the breakthrough process.
Going from Foundation to Core is considered one of the more dangerous progressions.
It was then time!
He made sure to stop accepting cleaning task.
Then went back to his dorm to breakthrough.
