3: Chapter 1: Origin

3: Chapter 1: Origin

"I see... it's accumulation! My cultivation system is the chapters itself. As long as I build up enough chapters. I'll be able to breakthrough!"

"I wonder how many chapters until I'm able to breakthrough to book 4?"

"My starting point was higher in the second book. But back then my cultivation wasn't linked to the chapters. I made the mistake to try to follow the supernatural system of the world."

"But that is a trap! It is an endless cycle that the author can continue to write until the end of my journey."

"I'll create a unique cultivation system based on the content of 'Time Walker'."

Zero could currently feel that he was still in the prologue.

"I must breakthrough the prologue and create chapter one."

"The question is... what should I name it?"

Zero began to manipulate 'Time Walker'.

"This is my origin! My awareness. My true beginning!"

Zero created a body of information in book 3.

His existence didn't require a body.

So he didn't have one until now in book 3.

But if he was to cultivate chapters.

Not having one would be inconvenient.

There had to be something for the readers to read about.

Otherwise he would never accumulate enough to breakthrough to book 4.

A man in a lab coat with black hair, one white eye and one green eye appeared out of nowhere in the middle of constant time.

He had skipped appearing in a random time stream.

His time was important after all.

"It's good that this reality also has constant time."

Zero was then surprised by what he saw.

There was a city built in constant time!

It looked nothing like constant time in book 2.

The streams were guarded by supreme beings.

There were eldritch horrors shuffling around like ordinary people on the streets.

Zero looked out of place at first.

So he transformed into his eldritch form to fit in.

But a entity flew up to him.

"Are you new? This is a no flying zone."

Stolen novel; please report.

"Oh... sorry about that."

"We'll let you off with a warning. Just be mindful of the rules."

Zero had appeared in the sky in constant time.

He didn't not expect to find a city of supreme beings.

Everyone here was minimum rank 7.

He even saw a few rank 8's.

No rank 9's though.

His body was just a entity of information.

So he appeared as rank 0.

But he was truly rank 10.

"Hey!"

Zero called out to the entity that had warned him.

"Can you tell me all of the rules. I'm a newborn supreme being."

"Oh... that explains it. You look quite strong. I can feel an ancient aura from you. A newborn and an ancient aura... how contradictory...You must be close to the end of your lifespan."

"Lifespan?"

Zero then felt it.

He had broken through to chapter 1!

[ECHO]: Analyzing book

[ECHO]: "Time Walker"

[ECHO]: 3: Chapter 1: Origin

He didn't go off on a tangent though.

He focused on the entity in front of him.

"You know... the vitality you have?"

"So there's a limit?"

"Of course! 100 cycles."

"What's a cycle?"

"Wow... you know nothing. A cycle is a million years. How old are you?"

"I'm far older then 100 cycles then."

"That isn't possible."

"Forget it. Can you tell me the rules?"

"Sure."

Zero was surprised.

In book 1 and 2, once you reached rank 7 you would become timeless.

But in this book.

It seemed the limit of a rank 7 or 8 was 100 million years.

Zero didn't care too much about that.

He could give others a timeless existence if it was required.

He still retained his abilities after all.

They discussed various rules...

So Zero wouldn't accidentally get arrested in constant time.

Although he felt he was strong enough to resist law enforcement.

But in this place where children were rank 7.

It was probably a good idea to not test his strength in such a way.

Zero walked to a stall selling food.

It turned out to be selling souls.

Cheap ones were mortal souls.

Expensive ones were souls of gods.

As for the currency in this world.

It was 'source'.

A universe in a bead with a world will.

These were manufactured by companies in constant time.

Or entities could create universes and compress them into sources.

But it was straining on their vitality and essence.

Zero tried creating a source... he found it incredibly easy.

His vitality was 'infinite'.

His laws allowed him to easily create a universe.

So he became rich in an instant.

If word spread that he could create infinite sources.

Some people with ill intentions would definitely want to capture him.

But a group of rank 8's were children in his eyes.

Zero found a bar and listened to the hidden existences discuss.

He learned a few things from this.

Apparently there is a person that owns the entire constant time of book 3.

They are the only rank 9.

"I wonder how they would react to me?"

An entity sat beside Zero.

"I am Kthoh'gno. I'll buy you a drink!"

"Oh... thanks."

"Don't mention it. He'll have an OGS".

The barista began to make Zero a special drink.

Zero asked Kthoh'gno what a OGS was.

"Its an overgod swirl."

"Wow... is it made from an overgod?"

"Yep. It's made from its soul. You experience every life from the multiverse of the overgod it is made from."

Zero then thought... isn't this the equivalent of eating trillions of souls?

"Hahaha! Is this your first time in constant time?"

"You have to be 21 cycles old to drink this though... otherwise your consciousness could get super confused."

An entity scanned Zero.

"Hmm... that's not right... how do you not have a soul? All entities have a soul..."

Zero spoke:

"Don't worry about it... I'm definitely legal age. As for not having a soul... you're mistaken. You just overlooked it."

"Oh... sorry about that."

Zero created himself a fake soul for this body in an instant.

He then used temporal edit to make it 30 million years old.

He also made the soul rank 8.

Creating a soul with laws was as easy as blinking for him.

"Ohhh... yea, you're 30 cycles. You're good."

"Here's your OGS!"

Zero and Kthoh'gno both swallowed the drink at the same time.

Zero felt his independent consciousness go into a daze.

He experienced millions of lives.

It was similar to his rank 7 dream.

But it was an illusion.

It happened in an instant.

"Wow... that is a unique taste."

The entity that bought him the drink looked at him in surprise.

"You recovered so fast! You liar, hahaha! This isn't your first time drinking it."

"Nah... it is my first time."
