"With a click, you return back to reality in a different location depending on the where you are at."

"But if you click it at 3:00 PM, you instead open a portal to the chaos realm."

"If you twist it three times in quick succession. Time stops for everything except you."

"With another turn time begins to flow again."

"I would take you on a journey through the chaos realm. But you'll need the watch if you don't wish to get stranded."

"So... follow me!"

"Anything you are holding will also be able to move in the stopped time."

So he twist the crown three times and stops time with his hand on my shoulder.

We make it through many doors and walk right around all the security.

Eventually we find ourself in a vault.

"Let's see, it should be- Ahha!"

"Just grab it. It'll recognize you as a Paradox. To be honest, from my talk with Eternus. This base was built around this artifact. They are able to click the crown... but were never able to physically move it. They tried destroying it, but it was completely indestructible. They tried using robots to move it. That actually worked, but it would always find itself back in the same spot. Just like how my watch returned to me from you when I reached for it."

I pick up the watch and rub the dial.

I click the crown as a test as he's talking.

"You idiot-"

Immediately I begin to 'zoom' out of the world.

Soon the world comes into the view.

Then the solar system.

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

Then the galaxy.

Then the universe as a sphere of light.

Until I see multiple spheres of light.

Then a cube containing it all.

Then I begin to rush back towards it.

Back into the universe.

Into the galaxy... the solar system.

My planet.

Then I see myself.

I am pulled into the watch

The watch then goes into itself.

I find myself in a space that I can only describe as 'yellow'.

I feel a huge force bearing down on me.

"FOOLISH MORTAL! You DARE STEP INTO THE DOMAIN OF THE GODS!???!"

I try to click the crown again, but before that happens I'm hit with an unstoppable force.

From the shock I loosen the grip of my hand accidentally and end up dropping the watch.

It falls further then I can see.

"Fuck."

I decide that its a good idea to get a better look at this thing talking to me.

It is yellow and looks as if it is made of vines.

So I say:

"Hello... I'm Zero. I'm a little lost. I'd really quite want to leave the domain of the gods and all that stuff, but I don't know how. Would you mind showing me?"

"THE MORTAL ASK FOR A QUICK DEATH! GRANTED!"

"Wait- don't kil-"

[ECHO]: Mental attack detected!

I get a huge headache.

Is this... madness?

It feels as if I am seeing everything in the universe.

Images flash by in my brain.

Blackholes... wormholes.

If I just reach out.

I hold onto my sanity.

For the first time in my life, I feel as if I may become insane.

"DISGUSTING! GET AWAY FROM ME! EWWW!"

I control nanites to propel me forward towards the entity.

Thorns shoot out at me.

I dodge the ones I can.

I get hit by one.

It spreads a corruption on my body.

But I do not give up my 'assault'.

"LEAVE ME ALONE MONSTER!"

I just want more Knowledge!

This thing is clearly giving off eldritch vibes.

I wanted to memorize the universe.

This is like a pie falling out of the sky.

"I CAN SEE YOUR THOUGHTS MORTAL... I'll let you pass... just don't touch me!"

I stop approaching it.

I point towards the corruption on my body.

"Get rid of it."

"Very well, morta-"

"I'm no mortal... I am the great Zero. I am Paradox!"

"I REME- cough. I remember your kind. Sorry for attacking. Just get out of my realm."

"The chaos realm is yours?"

"This isn't the chaos realm Paradox. This is the realm of the Future."

I find myself standing on a platform.

A man is about to be hanged.

"Umm... am I interrupting something?"

Somebody points a primitive firearm at me that appears to shoot metal bullets.

Just where the hell am I?

I easily dodge the bullets and use nanites to form a shield deflecting those that I cannot dodge.

After seeing me deflect the shots, they immediately drop their weapon.

I have no idea what they are saying.

I reach into my pocket and what do you know.

I pull out the stopwatch.

"Alright... that is pretty cool. It's like its soul bound to me "

I should make it a habit to see what time it is before clicking, so I know what the watch will do on that time when clicked.

I find myself at the top of a staircase, at some pearly white gates.

Fog fills the area.

"Those old fools aren't going to like-"

"How did you get down here? Doesn't this violate the laws of original incarnations?"

I have no idea what this guy in a suit is talking about.

I then hear cracking in my head.

Wait... that pocket watch looks familiar.

I look down at my watch.
