??? POV:
How dare 'it' mess with the data stream of time!?
I may just be an observer... but I can't let such a dangerous entity mess with the laws of the universe! I must find a way to stop 'it'.
I track down this thing.
I plan to destroy its planet.
It won't survive such a catastrophe.
Besides... a planet is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
It is nowhere near as important as maintaining the order of time
Which this creature threatens with its very existence!
I invade the lower dimension, temporarily becoming a 3rd dimensional being.
My body is as small as I could make it.
About the size of a planet.
I travel to its planet.
Right as I'm about to attack its location.
Something weird happens.
The planet disappears.
"..."
I then feel a hole in the universe again.
This time it is massive...
I travel to where the hole is and go through it.
As I enter negative time.
I see the planet that just disappeared.
I try to smash it again.
But it disappears right as I'm about to hit it.
I'm about to travel back to it, but I see a small speck of dust.
A building floating in the nothing.
"It's him! The anomaly!"
I move towards it to consume it.
But someone beside him points at me and says a word.
The word is...
"Shatter."
What's happening to me?
I feel myself breaking down into information.
I try to fight it.
I look into that beings eyes.
For an instant I see something scary.
A giant tree abomination.
Sitting on a wooden throne.
A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
On a floating island.
An infinite stone maze.
These are my final thoughts.
The end of my life as an Observer.
----------------------------------------
Gaia watched as this creature was turned into pure information.
Gaia was aware of his surroundings even before he was born.
So he kept his senses in negative time.
It was how he spotted the creature and used shatter.
Gaia looked at Zero who was in a daze and couldn't feel, see, or hear anything.
"Not so powerful now are you! Hahahaha"
Zero had no idea he said something, but for the lolz he responded randomly.
"I can't hear you."
"..."
Gaia then looked at all the raw information of this creature.
It had been observing since the birth of the universe.
It had quite a lot of power.
"Manifest!"
The information surrounded him.
He formed a separate space around the building, leaving negative time.
Zero regained his senses.
"We won?"
"Yep!"
"Where am I?"
"I have all of the information... this thing is apparently called an Observer. A being which watches the infinite river of time. I've regained my powers by manifesting its data."
With the snap of his fingers.
A stone maze appeared.
A floating island.
A throne.
Gaia disappeared and reappeared on the throne.
Except he looked human.
Zero looked up at Gaia.
"That's some bullshit! it was my plan... you used up all of its power for yourself?"
"Don't be jealous. I am destined to reach the top of every universe I enter."
"... you were literally starving earlier..."
Gaia coughed.
"Not my best moment, but that's all behind me."
"I have a gift for you. Since getting here would be impossible for me alone."
"Of course."
"Here is half of its law."
[ECHO]: 'Observation' Comprehension has reached 50%
Zero immediately felt like he had returned to being rank 7.
But no changes took place in his body.
It was just an illusion of strength.
This type of law wasn't very powerful.
It could serve the same function as his nanites. Helping him observe things on the quantum level.
But that was just an overlap in his current abilities.
But a law was something impossible to get in this reality.
What Gaia gave him was extremely precious.
Zero asked what Gaia planned to do now.
"I am now strong enough to condense this as my sea of consciousness again. In other words... I'm leaving this dimension and going to an even higher one!"
"Maybe I'll even find the author!"
Gaia squinted his eyes. As if he had looked into infinite outcomes.
"Zero, you should try praying to your main body. It may be possible if you burn your law!"
"Bye!"
The realm began to shake.
Zero was ejected from Gaia's pocket dimension
His building reappeared on the planet.
"I saved the world, but nobody knows..."
The world was panicking...
For a few seconds... everyone had lost all of their senses.
People were terrified and afraid that such a thing would be permanent.
But it seemed to not be the case.
Zero continued to continue his research at Projekt Paradox.
It was during a talk with one of his employee's that he had a great idea.
"Currently... my time isolator makes my existence like a rock in the river of time. I stop moving and the stream of water passes me by. This is negative time. But... what if I was able to become a fish and jump outside of the river. Or even swim upstream?"
"What I would then experience is a higher framework. Currently, I am able to experience both positive and negative time. But I am also only experiencing relative time."
"If I am able to jump out of the river of time. I may experience something far more magical. Constant Time."
"The main problem lies in how one achieves this."
"We can think of my device as puncturing a hole in the universe. If you view spacetime like a web. My device curves it inwards. If you view spacetime like a blanket. My device presses downwards."
"What if I reversed this? Instead of curving time inwards, I'll curve it outwards. Instead of pressing it downwards, I'll press it upwards."
"This will allow me to leave the time stream."
"Doing such a thing could be very risky. I may never return."
Zero coded in a reverse protocol in his time isolator.
In an emergency situation, he will activate it.
It should create a sort of white hole.
His information and existence should shoot outwards then.
Instead of inwards.
This would theoretically destroy him.
So he didn't plan on testing it yet.
He had a sneaking suspicion that it was the key to gaining his powers as a time walker back.
But he wasn't desperate enough to throw everything away for a chance.
He would study it and make sure it was safe.
He also couldn't use others as test subjects.
Since their data level was too low.
His memories went as far back as the dawn of creation.
His existence is naturally special.
He would just be sending people to their deaths.
Since... even he would be going to die from such a test.
He needed to reacquire his status as a Paradox.
To do that, he would need to connect with his main body.
