Chapter 77: Kill Our Enemies Ahead of Time.
(Resoria’s POV)
Leaving our dear wife behind, the rest of us went to our destination. Which was a horrible town. We are supposed to tell each other everything, but we leave Selenia out of most things like this.
It’s not that we do not trust her, or that we’re doing it to be rude. Selenia… she is the type that, despite being so strong and having killed countless of beings before, she really liked to be led around by us.
This goes for when she is in bed with us, and for most of her life. If it wasn’t for us constantly rewarding her, she would have easily flunked every class in the academy, including mine.
When put in a position like this, one where her wives are more than willing to help Selenia manage her life, Selenia leaves it all to us. If we didn’t exist, Selenia would be the one at the helm. But that isn’t the case at all.
Zella: “Won’t Selenia be upset that we left her out of this adventure?” She asked.
Cirilia: “No.” She denied.
Zella: “…”
Resoria: “If we brought her with us, she would end up too tired to dominate us later. She will understand this, surely.” I say with a confident tone.
Zella: “Right… if she gets upset, I am throwing you two to the wolves.” She replied with a sigh.
Resoria: “I am certain that Selenia will not be upset by this. If she did get upset, then she would punish us by not letting us touch her. Which would be a fate worse than death for us all, I am sure.” I say with a shrug.
Zella: “…”
Cirilia: “…”
Though, the main reason I kept her out of this is due to the town. Each of the people living here, which are surely in the thousands, needs to die. Rem already informed us of this, but she let us handle it.
Minister Zaid got too cocky, and news of this place spread. The people in this town will soon start to show symptoms, and then they will turn into horrible monsters. Usually, before they do, they will be taken into the lab.
As such, the people of this town, and the researchers inside the lab, they all have been marked for death. Selenia wouldn’t care about killing the researchers, but she would be upset to kill innocents.
Cirilia: “Will this be something else that we will hide from Selenia?” She asked.
Resoria: “If she asks, we will tell her. After all, even if we kill a bunch of sick, innocent people, Selenia will still love us in the end.” I deny.
This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
Zella: “It is a shame that finding a cure isn’t feasible.” She said with a sigh.
Of course, such a thing could be discovered. But by the time that one is discovered, all these people would have turned into monsters themselves. As such, there is no point in finding one.
It is best to just kill them all, and destroy all of the research within the lab. According to Rem, this place was already abandoned by Minister Zaid. A man so evil, that he left these people here to turn into monsters, without even caring about if they escape to a random town to kill people.
Resoria: “Hello, townspeople. Your lives will end here today. If you would be ever so kind, please let us kill you all without any resistance. After all, you will end up as monsters, anyway.” I shout once we reached the entrance of the town.
The townspeople reacted by lining up, fully wanting to let us kill them. Most of them had dead eyes, not caring for life at all. I didn’t think that they would allow this to happen so easily. I at least thought that there would be some resistance by them…
With a sigh, Zella, Cirilia, and I started to kill them all. Touching their heads, I first killed them with painless magic, and then I used blue fire magic to burn the bodies to nothing. Not even ashes remained, nor did the fire spread.
Hours Later.
Once we killed them all, the place was silent as a cemetery. Perhaps even more silent than that… Such a place like this, which is now just a ghost town. I figure that Selenia would find it somewhat interesting. Which is good.
Cirilia: “The entrance to the lab is in that small shack over there. At least, that is what Rem told us.” She pointed out.
Walking to and going inside the building, we found a hatch. Opening it up and leaving it open for Selenia to find, we entered the lab. Such a place… Zella and Cirilia wouldn’t find it that odd.
It was just a lab with metal walls that used that one rare type of metal that Selenia likes. The problem for me, and for when Selenia finds this place, is that it looks like some kind of sci-fi lab… Oh, well. At least Selenia will be somewhat entertained by it.
An Unknown Amount of Time Later.
Despite this place being abandoned, there were still many researchers around the place. They couldn’t just leave it right away. There are still lots of research materials left inside the lab. Such people wouldn’t be willing to let their work go to waste or be forgotten.
With no warning, we had already started to kill everyone that we came across. While killing, I had stopped in my tracks, completely shocked by my latest revelation…
Zella: “What’s wrong, Resoria?” She asked with a concerned tone.
Resoria: “We fucked up…” I exclaim.
Cirilia: “How so? What do you even mean? None of these people here are innocent at all.” She asked with a confused expression.
Huh? The researchers? Of fucking course those fools aren’t innocent! Why the hell would I care about people that I have, and am continuing to slaughter like pigs? My mind is on something far more important!!!
Resoria: “Selenia knows nothing about how to find this lab!!!” I yell in horror.
Zella: “…”
Cirilia: “…”
Zella: “You know… since it is Selenia, she will probably explore the town but eventually give up. Selenia would never admit it, but that girl is actually quite lazy.” She advised.
Resoria: “Yeah… so she won’t find us here. Even though we bothered to put up signs for her to follow…” I say with a sad tone.
Zella: “She will give up, and then burn the entire town down to the ground. That’s what I meant to say. Once she does, then she will easily find the entrance.” She explained with a confident tone.
Resoria: “…”
Ah, that’s true… I guess that I was worried for no reason? Truly, Selenia makes me go crazy sometimes… Oh, well. I should refocus on killing these damn researchers!!!
We came across a large cage area for those creatures. They were mostly made of jiggly flesh, not really having any unified form at all. Most of the parts of them were odd, though they all had one or more mouths to use.
Zella came up with an amazing idea… To release these creatures, and then let them kill the researchers as some kind of fucked up revenge. Of course, we all agreed with her profound and poetic idea! Ah, the screams are nice…
