Chapter 56: Eventually...

(Selenia’s POV)

We’ve just been spending the past few days relaxing at this inn. Something that you’ll never really notice… is how much of your time is taken up by eating. Now, due to the big feast I had not that long ago, I only eat once a day. This gives me so much more time than I thought that it would.

Resoria: “Hm… When is that Rem going to come back with our potions?” She asked with a sigh.

Cirilia: “Rem said that it would only take a week, but I highly doubt it.” She said with a sigh of her own.

Selenia: “What do you mean?” I ask.

Resoria: “Witches tend to be very difficult to work with. Not because they’re bad people, or anything. Just due to the fact that their experiments are always their main focus. In fact, if it wasn’t for that side of them, Witches would easily control the entire world.” She explained in Cirilia’s stead.

Ah, that is kinda scary to think about. From what I read about witches, they’re on the same level, if not stronger than blessed people. Really, it is no exaggeration to say that they could easily control the world. That is, if they ever bothered to do so.

When we get to the academy, I really need to do a lot of reading. Just relying on Cirilia and Resoria to fill me in on everything isn’t a permanent solution.

Resoria: “We should do something fun.” She exclaimed.

Selenia: “What do you have in mind?” I ask.

Resoria: “Let’s go to a strip club!” She answered excitedly.

Selenia: “…”

Cirilia: “This city has tons of sights to see, Selenia. Why don’t we go explore the city a bit?” She suggested, ignoring Resoria’s previous suggestion.

Resoria: “How dare you ignore my suggestion!” She said with an angry tone.

Cirilia: “Suggestion? You want us three, two of which are underage, to go to a strip club? Only women are allowed in this city, so it is highly likely that the employees at any strip club here in this city are lesbians as well.” She said with a stern tone.

Resoria: “…”

Cirilia: “Do you really want to risk Selenia falling victim to some beautiful seductive stripper!? Please calm yourself down. I understand that you wish to explore your new sexuality, but you can do that when Selenia has an adult body.” She explained.

Resoria: “You are absolutely correct! Ah, I am such a fool… How could I willingly bring Selenia into a scenario that could end with us getting cucked?” She admonished herself.

These girls, I swear… ignoring that conversation wholesale; I left the inn with Resoria and Cirilia. Despite the city being decently safe, we still took our weapons with us. This city was actually odd, as it didn’t have a homeless or poor population at all. That is to say, there weren’t any slums of any kind.

The first place that we went to was very interesting. No, wait… what the heck?… This was just straight up the space needle… Except, it was a smaller version of it, and you couldn’t get inside it. The fake was still very tall, but it didn’t go up to the walls of the city. Only now did I remember that other people have transmigrated to this world before. Wait… what happened to Hani?…

Saya: “Hello you three! It is good to see you.” She said, happily waving before walking toward us.

Selenia: “Saya? What are you doing here?” I ask with a confused tone.

Saya: “I was going to meet you at the academy, but I found out that you three stopped in Seattle.” She answered.

Selenia: “…”

Ah… yet another thing that I was trying to ignore… Specifically, only calling this place a “city” and not saying its name. I did talk to Velmet, and she clearly wasn’t a reincarnater. She told me that the name was given to this place far before she took it over.

And yeah, that does explain the damn fake space needle… This place was apparently a failed project at making an identity city to that of Seattle. Of course, this plan failed completely. Most of the coin was wasted, probably on stupid shit like the space needle, so Velmet killed the owner and took it over for herself. All for the best, in my opinion…

Selenia: “Wait… why were you going to find us at the academy?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Saya: “Why else? The guild leader keeps nagging at me to stick by your side. Which is funny, as she doesn’t even realize that I am no longer loyal to her.” She replied with a giggle.

Selenia: “I see… What happened to Hani?” I ask.

Saya: “Hani? Ah, it actually seems that the guild leader is training her to replace me. After all, I can’t go on missions if I have to stick by your side. In that sense, rest assured that Hani is well taken care of.” She answered.

Selenia: “Hm… That’s good to know. So… do you need anything?” I ask.

Saya: “No, do you? As I’ve said before, I am only loyal to you. Anything you ask of me, I will do.” She replied with a bow.

Selenia: “That so? Then be loyal to Resoria and Cirilia as well. They will be my wives in the future.” I say with a serious tone.

Saya: “Of course.” She agreed.

Selenia: “…Do you know anything about Minister Zaid?” I ask.

Saya: “Minister Zaid? From what I’ve heard, the man is beyond crazy, and is a major pervert. Basically, he is a horrible villain.” She replied.

Resoria: “How much of a pervert?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.

Saya: “It is well known that Minister Zaid has been lusting after Cirilia ever since she first started making waves in the Empire. What isn’t known by most, is that he keeps underage girls inside his estate. Imprisoned, of course. His favorite type is girls who look similar to Cirilia.” She explained with a disgusted expression on her face.

Resoria: “…”

Cirilia: “…”

Zaid was worse than I originally thought that he was. How did he get away with this shit? I guess that is what happens when you practically control the entire Empire… That young kind is foolish, and is just as responsible for these atrocities! How else would a basic ass, utterly evil villain continue to go unchallenged?

Selenia: “I guess that I will have to include those girls in the group torture session of his in the future.” I reply with a sigh.

Saya: “You plan on killing him?” She asked.

Selenia: “He tried to have me killed multiple times, and now Minister Zaid wishes to kidnap me for experiments.” I reply.

Saya: “Can I join in on that torture session? I have no grudge against him, I just don’t want to miss out on it.” She asked with an excited tone.

Selenia: “Sure.” I agree.

Saya: “Yay!” She said happily.

Selenia: “…”

Why do I attract such violent girls? Not that I mind at the moment, as this world requires you to be violent to a certain degree to survive. After all, it was violence that allowed me to get to this point. Thinking about it, I wonder how much stronger Cirilia and I will be once we get adult bodies?…
