Chapter 14: First Regicide.

(Selenia’s POV)

Never in my life have I ever seen someone with such a perverted expression… I am no prude, mind you. You like sex? Cool, I don’t really care. But that isn’t the expression he is giving me. He looks almost like a fucking demon that wants to destroy me…

Albert: “Lady Quartz, now it is just you and me…” He said before licking his lips.

Selenia: “Hm? What about the maid?” I reply with an innocent head tilt.

Albert: “Maid? What do you… Who might you be?” He asked after he realized the maid was in the room.

Maid: “Please pretend I am not here, Lord Albert. Once you’re finished with Lady Quarts, then I will be the one to clean up and take care of her.” She said with a bow.

Albert: “I see. Very well, then please carry out your duty when the time comes. Now then, Lady Quarts, please get on the bed.” He suggested.

Holy shit… He really was planning on assaulting Radahn’s daughter? Like, there was no doubt that he would do this? This Albert person has more than a few screws loose…

Selenia: “Why do I need to get on the bed?” I ask with an innocent tone.

Albert: “You’ll understand soon, Lady Quarts.” He replied.

Fucking creep… While continuing to act innocent, I got onto the bed. Albert quickly followed after me. Now, I was on the bed with my back to it, and Albert was on top of me. Of course, he wasn’t crushing me, but was using his arms to hold himself up.

Albert: “Lady Quarts, could you please lift your dress?” He asked.

Selenia: “My dress? I’m sorry, but I don’t have any hidden treasure under it.” I reply with a kid like giggle.

Albert: “There is an amazing treasure under it, Lady Quarts. You just aren’t aware of it.” He said with a lewd tone and expression.

Selenia: “…”

If this was a modern world, I would win an award for being the best damn child actor in existence… While acting confused by the creep king’s words, I pulled my dress up. Now Albert was staring at my panties as if they were some holy Goddess… Can you give me a chance to kill you now!?

Albert: “Actually, before get into it, could I give you a kiss, Lady Quarts?” He asked after struggling to pull his gaze off of my panties.

Selenia: “A kiss? Sure! I give those to my mom and dad all the time.” I happily reply.

Albert: “It will be a different kiss than that, Lady Quarts. Here, I’ll teach you how adults kiss.” He said before leaning in to give me a kiss.

A chance! Before he could defile me further, I took out my knife from its sheath on my waist, and I stabbed it into his head. Once again, my body wasn’t strong enough to finish the job… Luckily, it seemed that the maid was actually an assassin, and she was about to kill Albert at the same time as well. As such, she used her hands to help me fully pierce Albert’s skull, which quickly ended the perverted king’s pathetic life. I just hope that he will be burning in Hell for all of eternity…

Maid: “Are you really Lady Quarts?” She asked with a curious tone after pushing Albert’s body off of me.

Selenia: “Nope. I am just a Private under his command. I took his daughter’s place, with the intent for me to kill Albert.” I explain.

Sana: “Clever… My name is Sana, an assassin. Shall we escape from this place?” She suggested.

Selenia: “We just killed a king, how will we escape?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Sana: “I applaud you for killing that pervert, but my main priority is myself. Though, as you killed my mark for me, I am willing to help you escape as well. But you need to come up with a plan yourself.” She replied.

Selenia: “Huh? Why?” I ask with a confused tone.

Sana: “I am not taking dead weight with me.” She answered.

Selenia: “Fine… Let me think for a bit.” I reply with a sigh.

We didn’t have much time, which also meant that I didn’t have much time to come up with a plan. Luckily, my child brain seemed to kick into overdrive, possibly from the adrenalin from killing Albert. My plan was simple, put Albert in bed, and wrap him up in the blanket. Not fully, just enough to make it seem like he is in a deep sleep.

Sana: “Yes, that would work for a few hours, but how do you leave this room? I planned on escaping through the window.” She asked.

Selenia: “The next part is a win-win, Sana.” I reply.

Sana: “Oh? You have my curiosity…” She replied with a raised eyebrow.

While Sana was watching, I used my knife to tear my dress in tatters. Just enough to make it seem like Albert was rough and that he really wanted me to undress, but I refused. Then under the gaze of Sana, who was looking at me like I was some rare creature, I took some blood from Albert's head, and coated my legs with it. As a final piece, I poked my arm with my knife, which caused me to tear up.

Selenia: “Now then, Sana, please take this young lady who was assaulted by an evil king, and let us escape. Don’t worry, I think that I am good at acting.” I propose.

Sana gave me a few claps, and then we left the room. I made sure to cry and sniffle as I really was raped. The knights guarding Albert’s room didn’t even try to stop us at all. While continuing this act, we made it all the way to the entrance of the estate.

Knight: “Ladies? Why might you be out this late…” His words stopped as he looked at me.

I pretended that I couldn’t even look him in the eyes, which was very affective. Yeah, that is how someone should act when they realized what had happened to a child. Which should have evoked the reaction of offing that pervert… Whatever… I killed him, so the girls he assaulted will at least get revenge through my actions.

Sana: “I’m sorry, I know that it is late, but Lady Quarts wants to be alone. The garden is through this way, correct?” She replied with a sad tone.

Knight: “…Of course… Please treat her nicely, she needs all the comfort that she can get.” He sadly advised.

With that, Sana and I left the estate, and no one even bothered to follow us. Once we were sure that we were alone, I dropped the act entirely. Now, it was just Sana and I on an empty dirt road. Carriages would go on such a road, but the sun as already went down.

Sana: “Very impressive… I would have had so much trouble escaping. What is your name?” She asked with a curious tone.

Selenia: “Selenia is my name.” I reply.

Sana: “Here, keep this with you.” She said before handing me a small weird blue crystal thing.

Selenia: “This is?” I ask with an unsure tone.

Sana: “A contact crystal. I won’t upend your life, but I think that my organization could use your skill set and age from time to time.” She replied before walking off.

Selenia: “Wait! I have someone that is supposed to pick me up. Do you want to come along?” I propose.

Sana: “Thanks, little Selenia, but I also have a pickup, and I trust my group more.” She replied without looking back.

Quickly, the world became almost quiet, with the only sounds being that of nature. With a sigh, I walked to the supposed meetup point. This would be harder to find than originally planned… I was supposed to see a sign while riding here that would tell me the where to meetup, but I feel asleep during the trip… With a sigh, I vaguely walked down the path in hopes that I would stumble onto the meetup area…
