Chapter 57: Major Shift.

(Selenia’s POV)

After spending another few days basically doing nothing, I was happy to see Rem once again. When she made it to our room, she just handed us the potions and went to take a very, very long bath.

Rem was ragged, her clothes torn in certain places, scratches on her armor, her hair and face a mess. What the fuck even happened to her? Due to her appearance, we didn’t bother to take the potions yet. We were worried about Rem…

Rem: “Huh? Did you not take the potions yet?” She asked after getting out of the bath and walking back into the room.

Selenia: “We’re worried about you, so we didn’t take them yet.” I reply.

Rem: “No need to worry about me.” She said with a smile.

Resoria: “What happened to you, Rem? I’ve never seen you in such a state. You didn’t even look like that after fighting us…” She asked with a nervous tone.

Cirilia: “Did you and that witch fight to the death?” She asked.

Rem: “No. We have a good relationship.” She quickly denied.

Selenia: “Then what the hell happened?” I ask once again.

Rem: “Marinda loves her experiments just as much as any other witch does. As for how I met her, well… one day I almost died, but she saved me, and I’ve known her since then.” She replied.

Selenia: “Then why were you in that state if you have a good relationship?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Rem: “Instead of a favor, she just wanted me to have sex with her.” She answered.

Selenia: “…”

Rem sold her body to a witch, all just so that she could get potions for us? Fuck… no wonder she smelled like sex when she got back. I actually thought that she was assaulted, or something. What the hell…

Resoria: “Rem… we didn’t wish for you to sell your body…” She said with a remorseful tone.

Rem: “I didn’t, not really. Marinda and I are lovers. Once we settle down in life, we plan to get married. Frankly, the only reason that I was gone so long was because we just couldn’t stop having sex. Marinda loves to be rough with me, and I love it as well. Which is why my appearance was like that.” She explained with a laugh.

Selenia: “Why was your armor scratched?” I ask.

Rem: “Because she likes roleplaying. I won’t go into the details of that… Anyway, witches are very strong. Strong enough to even leave love scratches on a Paladin’s armor.” She answered.

Selenia: “…”

Cirilia: “…”

Resoria: “Well… I have already asked for a room to be prepared for you. Just got to the front desk, and then they will guide you to your room.” She informed.

Once she was gone, I looked down at the potions in my hand. One was labeled aging potion, specifically for the age of 18. While the other potion was labeled as age stopping potion.

Resoria urged me to take the aging potion, and Cirilia already drank hers and passed out on the bed. She was naked, but covered in a blanket. After all, we will be growing, so we shouldn’t keep our clothes on.

Taking a sip for a taste test, before swallowing the entire potion, I soon fell asleep after getting comfortable in a separate blanket from Cirilia’s. I wonder how long that I will be asleep this time?…

Hours Later.

Sitting up, I wasn’t awake yet. This is clearly a dream, and the woman before me is my Goddess, Marika. Does she need something from me?

Marika: “I don’t need anything. Actually, I do…” She said, quickly changing her mind.

Selenia: “What do you need?” I ask.

Marika: “Minister Zaid isn’t the one controlling the Empire. In fact, the blessed beings from the other higher beings are the ones truly in control. I need you three to kill them.” She replied.

Selenia: “Kill them? Well, I plan to take over this Empire, so we will probably kill them in the process. Why bring it up specifically? From your words, talking to me like this takes a lot of your power to do so.” I ask with a curious tone.

Marika: “They put all their eggs in one basket. Taking sides with each other, the two higher beings blessed two people. When blessing them, they used up all of them divinity that was allowed in this dimension.” She replied.

Selenia: “What does that mean?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Marika: “It means that those two people are extremely powerful. Just to take down one of them, all three of you will need to fight. But since they used too much divinity, they cannot bless anyone else. Once those two die, then I will win this game.” She explained.

Selenia: “Alright, we’ll kill them, don’t worry. I am guessing that you can’t give us any information on them, right?” I assume.

Marika: “I cannot, as I will be disqualified by doing so.” She replied.

Selenia: “What do you even get for winning this game, anyway?” I ask with great curiosity.

Marika: “What do I get? Apart from bragging rights, I will win various pills that will make me stronger. Not only that, but I will get this dimension and I can do with it as I please.” She answered with an excited tone.

Selenia: “Do with it as you please? I oddly don’t like the sound of that…” I say with a nervous tone.

Marika: “I won’t do anything to it, don’t worry. As for other higher beings, well… some of them would have the dimension destroyed, and consume the souls of every being in it, which would make them more powerful.” She explained.

Selenia: “…”

Marika: “Don’t think about stressful things! Right now, you should look forward to waking up.” She said with a cheery tone.

Selenia: “Hm? Because of me now having an adult body, right?” I assume.

In this dreamland, I was still just in a child’s body. Maybe due to the fact that I haven’t seen my adult body yet? Who knows? Back in my original world, even in such an advanced dimension, we didn’t understand dreams at all.

Marika: “That, and the fact that you will have sex with your wives finally!” She said with an excited tone.

Selenia: “…Why are you excited about this?” I ask with a confused tone.

Marika: “When blessed people have sex with someone that is blessed by the same higher being, they will get stronger. Not only that, but I will get stronger from it as well.” She answered.

Selenia: “…”
