The cops had arrived as Taylor and his mom were processing the lunatics so they took the opportunity to quietly leave the mall, while picking up their shopping bags on the way out.
Taylor stood near his car with his mom and watched the rest of the show go down. The federal police came and forced everyone out of the building. A team of four people were with them, and as Taylor watched them walk into the building, he could tell they were cultivators.
Taylor lingered a while longer, wondering if that was the show, or if there was more to come. From Taylor experience, when it rains, it pours, and if this was a tribulation, Taylor doubted it would give anyone a break in the heat of things.
Eventually someone started tearing the doors down and one of the cultivators broke down a part of the wall. After that a helicopter came and someone in a hazmat suit, probably a cultivator, carried the meteor out of the mall. They bundled it up in a yellow package before trying to airlift it out of the area.
Taylor continues to watch as the helicopter lifts into the air. It got pretty high when suddenly a goose flew into blades of the chopper and it began to crash. Taylor couldn’t help himself and let out a loud laugh.
Once again the meteor was crashing along with the helicopter, and from where Taylor stood, it was flying into a large amount of pedestrian traffic.
Taylor lets out a chuckle at how dumb that looked. He looks to his mom and lets out a bitter smile. “I think we have a zombie apocalypse on our hands.” He says, finding the whole thing dumb.

“What are you talking about? They’re not dead. It’s more like demon possession than anything. It’s a demon apocalypse.” Taylor’s mom says, thinking her description was better.
“Whatever it is. I feel like its going to spread fast. I’m willing to bet that the green aura is infectious. If it wasn’t, that would just be no fun.” Taylor says, willing to call it there.
“I’m sure it won’t be too bad.” Taylor’s mom says as she watches the partially blocked off scene from a distance. People's screams rang through the air and several people seemed to be fleeing the area.
Taylor sighs. “Whatever. Let’s get back home. We can at least make sure the kids are safe.” He says before opening his car door.
“You want to leave?” Taylor’s mom asks with a raised eyebrow.
Taylor lets out a chuckle. “When the sky falls there would certainly be better people to call then me. I don’t have it in me to hold up the sky.” He says before taking his seat and closing the door.
Taylor’s mom lets out a sigh. “Whatever you say, son. But it wouldn’t hurt you to try.” She says, slightly disappointed.
…
…
Taylor’s whole family took the next flight to Backwater City to wait out the storm. During their flight, Johan informed him that the whole city was overrun with possessed people. Rape and violence was running rampant in the city. But this time, it’s out in the open. Taylor couldn’t help but think as he let out a chuckle.
Taylor planned to relax while he was back in town as the zombie or demon thing passed. But he wasn’t home long before dogs began barking and cats began screeching. Johan informed him that animals everywhere were going wild and attacking their owners. Taylor shrugged it off as a passing inconvenience, but then he heard a primal howl echo through the air.
“Fuck. What was that?” Taylor exclaims over the phone.
“Don’t you know? There’s a werewolf clan in town. I heard that too. Sounds like a wolf cub. They seem to be affected by this too. It’s possible even the vampires…” Johan says, thinking aloud.
Taylor steps outside of his house and looks at the moon. “Fuck. Do you see this?” Taylor asks as his eyes are transfixed on the heavenly body above. It was blood red. “The moon, Johan. It’s bleeding. And now that I’m looking at it, I feel it too. My blood is beginning to boil. I think I’ll either need to fuck or kill pretty soon.” He says with some worry.
“Damn. It affects demons too. Stay put. I’m coming over. And look after your dad. I trust that he’s man enough to handle it, but it can’t hurt to be careful.” Johan says with a hint of warning.
Taylor’s eyes widen. That’s right. My family is filled with demons. Fuck. He exclaims in his mind.
