Taylor parks nearby, and walks over to the house, stopping at the gate. The house was huge and Taylor sees a familiar sight in the driveway. It was a pink SUV. Taylor raises an eyebrow. That's weird. He comments before ignoring it and pressing the intercom button.
“Taylor? What are you doing here?” A muffled voice says over the speakers.
Taylor raises another eyebrow. “Do I know you?” He asks, feeling very curious.
“Never mind that. What are you doing here?” The voice asks, sounding slightly worried.
“Ugh, I was asked to come here at midnight.” Taylor says, confused.
The speaker fell silent. Taylor continues to wait impatiently. Eventually the person inside responds.
“Okay. Come in.” The voice says, his voice sounding heavier and colder.

Taylor hears a buzz and the gate unlatches. Taylor opens the gate cautiously, and before walking in Taylor finds Raz on his phone. If anything went wrong, Raz could arrive in a moment. Taylor hides his phone in his pocket and goes into the courtyard before approaching the door.
The door soon opens and Taylor’s eyes widen. “Jared? What the fuck are you doing here?” Taylor asks with some shock.
Jared’s eyes were cold but a bitter smile forms on his face. “Let’s talk inside.” He says before fully opening the door for Taylor.
Taylor walks in with wide eyes; he was still shocked. He never expected to see Jared here.
Taylor follows Jared to an open area with a large number of items on display; there, someone else was waiting. Taylor smiles. “Tasha! Damn, you’re both here! What have you guys been up to lately?” Taylor asks, happiness on his face. He was very excited to be meeting old friends.
Tasha gives him the same bitter smile. “It’s good to see you again, Taylor. Have a look around. Let us know what you’d like to buy.” She says, trying to sound friendly.
“Never mind that! Let’s pull out some beer. We have to catch up!” Taylor says with smile and a laugh.
“We can chat later. For now, let’s take care of business first.” Tasha says with a smile.
“Ugh, right. Business.” Taylor says, reminding himself of why he was here.
“What sort of thing were you looking for?” Jared asks.
“Not really a thing. More like a person.” Taylor admits with a scratch to his head.
Jared furrows his brows and looks to Tasha, who gives him a quick nod.
“What’s on display is more for our less intense customers. Our special stock is upstairs. Did you want to have a look?” Tasha asks, gesturing to the floor above.
Taylor raises an eyebrow, confused. “Ugh, okay. I guess I have time to look.” He says, playing along.
Tasha leads the way and Taylor follows, with Jared following behind him.
I’m getting a bad feeling about this. Taylor thinks as some sweat forms on his head.
