Maggie had left and Taylor was standing on the hotel balcony naked, watching the bustling city and the flickering lights. He put a cigarette in his mouth and lit it with a red lighter before taking a deep breath and exhaling. “Fuck, that was hot.” Taylor exclaims, sweat still lingering on his skin. Taylor walks to the table and collapses onto the patio chair. He lets out a sigh, lingering in the fun of the evening before picking up his phone. The party's over and I have to work, Taylor thinks as he finds Johan's number. Still naked on the patio chair, Taylor exhales another breath and puts on his business face before pressing the call button.
The phone rang for a moment before being picked up. “Ready to go?” Johan asks.
“Yeah, I'm ready. I'll meet you at the airport.” Taylor says with a sigh. Another day in paradise, Taylor thinks as he takes a deep inhale from his cigarette.
“We're already at the airport. Get your ass here soon.” Johan says before hanging up.
Taylor's eyes open in surprise. Fuck, I kept them waiting… Taylor thinks with a hint of regret before his mind looks back on the evening and he shakes his head. Nah, I don't regret it, Taylor thinks with a smile. I might as well take my sweet ass time and have a bath first, Taylor thinks with amusement before getting up to take a shower.
“Hey, asshole! Put on some fucking clothes. There are other people staying at this hotel. No one wants to see your bare ass on the balcony.” A voice calls out from another balcony.
Taylor looks over and sees a man there, covering a little girl's eyes.
“Aren't we all sort of naked on a balcony, my friend?” Taylor asks with a smile, ignoring the little girl.

“Get inside before I go over there and kick your ass.” The man says in a commanding voice.
“Yes, sir.” Taylor says before walking inside. As he left, the man couldn't help but exclaim, “Prick.”
Taylor smiles again and walks to the shower. His body was pretty filthy at the moment. A shower might just do the trick; at least it will make me seem clean, he thinks with a laugh.
…
…
“God dammit, Taylor. I smell hot sex all over you. Do you really have the time for that shit?” Johan says with a frown.
Taylor was about to respond before his nose caught another scent and he began sniffing the air. “Actually, this place smells kind of similar.” Taylor says, his eyes glancing to Jesse and watching as a blush forms on her cheeks. Taylor laughs. “I guess there's no need to flaunt our dirty laundry in the air. Let's get the fuck out of here and onto business.” Taylor says as he takes a seat.
Johan also looks a little embarrassed. “Fine. Let's go. But if we're not going to talk about it, it's going to be a quiet ride.” Johan says with a smile.
Taylor looks to Johan and a smile also appears on his face. “I'm sure we'll find a way to work it into the conversation.” Taylor says with a laugh, causing Johan to chuckle.
The red on Jesse's face becomes deeper and some anger was expressed. “Can't you guys be fucking serious. We have work to do.” Jesse says, finding the room to be a little hot.
“You gotta enjoy it while you can, hot stuff. Johan knows what's up.” Taylor says, his grin unable to fade.
“Come now, Taylor. We can give it a try. I have board games; how ‘bout a game of Life?” Johan asks, his grin also lingering.
“Oh, I thought that's what we were playing. But if you want it in board game form, I'll play ball.” Taylor says with another laugh.
“You guys are fucking impossible.” Jesse says with exasperation as she stands up. “I'm going to the room to rest.” She says with frustration as she exhales some hot air.
Taylor watches her leave and signals a question to Johan with a raised eyebrow.
“Leave her be. She just needs a moment.” Johan says with a sigh.
“The kids have to grow up sometime.” Taylor says before closing his eyes to rest. “Maybe we'll have time for it tomorrow.” Taylor says with a hint of sarcasm.
Johan also closes his eyes. “It always ends up there somehow, doesn't it?” He asks, his consciousness settling to rest.
“Not always. Some people remember what they have to do.” Taylor responds with a little carelessness, not really wanting to talk about the state of the world.
Johan lets out a chuckle. “You're starting to sound like me, Taylor. Before you know it, your hair will turn grey.” He says with some amusement.
“I don't care as much as you, Johan. I'm willing to ignore the world as it burns.” Taylor says, intent on not speaking further.
The room drifts into silence. Johan, curious, takes a peek at the sleeping Taylor before closing his eyes again. The kid's growing up, Johan thinks with a hint of happiness.
