“Little Johnny has to go to school.” Sylvie says as she cuddles next to Taylor.
“Why would he need to go to school? Can't we just hire a tutor to teach him?” Taylor asks with half-open eyelids.
“I don't care about the knowledge involved; I want him to socialize. If he's going to grow up, we have to throw him into the jungle.” Sylvie says, expressing how she saw it.
Taylor chuckles. “What if the jungle is a bad influence on him?” Taylor asks with a smile.
Sylvie sighs. “You know how life works, Taylor. We're his parents. If he falls, we pick him up and kiss the boo boo away and when he wants to learn something we teach him. But if his mind is corrupted then it’s our duty to beat some sense into him.” She says with a smile.
Taylor chuckles. He knew exactly how discipline worked in his wife’s mind; she brings you to hell to look at yourself then she gives you a reason to keep going. Taylor felt it was similar with the plants she cultivated, but he wasn’t sure if it was just how witch’s worked or if it was his wife’s particular interest.

“Is there something like a supernatural school?” Taylor asks casually.
“Hmm… There is…” Sylvie says while pondering a thought. “Say, since little Johnny is just a normal human for now, do you think it’s better to leave him with regular school children, to let him know the reality of these kids, or should we push him a little and put him in a school with supernatural kids who will most likely bully him?” She wonders, not sure which direction to go with it.
Taylor looks to Sylvie and his eyes widen. Sylvie, that’s your son you’re talking about. He couldn’t help but think. “Is there even any supernatural schools around? I’d rather not have to move. I like life here.” Taylor says with a smile.
“True…” Sylvie says as she considers her options. “How ‘bout we send him to a boarding school?” Sylvie asks without a care.
“Sylvie! Are you content to just send your son away?” Taylor asks with a laugh.
“What? There’s nothing wrong with that. He’ll probably grow up to cultivate anyway; we’ll have plenty of time to spend with our son.” She says guiltlessly. “If we send him away, we can spend more time with each other.” She says with a kiss to Taylor’s cheek.
“Hmm… You’re right… That doesn’t sound so bad.” Taylor says with a smile before his phone begins to ring.
“Yes?” Taylor says as he answers the call.
“Taylor, it’s Charles. We want you to broker an alliance.” Charles says, getting right to the point.
“An alliance?” Taylor asks with a raised eyebrow. “An alliance with who?” He asks, curious.
“With the Demon Heart vampires and the Axel Witch clan.” Charles says with a sigh. Charles’ family have been hurting real bad since the war ended and they were being eyed from all sides. If the Axel witch clan didn’t say anything, they could be done for.
Taylor’s eyebrows crease. This sounded serious… He couldn’t help but think.
