Taylor opens the door, but just as he was about to exit the mall with his mother, he heard a scream. Then he heard sirens in the distance, getting louder as the moments pass. Damn. What happened? Taylor asks himself.
Taylor looks back and sees people had began running for the exits. Behind them, were men chasing them with crazed looks in their eyes. One man tackles a woman to the ground and begins ripping at her clothes. The woman's shirt was torn off revealing her bra and the man let out a howl before pulling the woman’s pants down.
Taylor mom raises a hand and blue light shot out of her hand, shooting to the man like a bullet before crushing into his head.
Taylor’s eyes open wide. What the fuck is happening? He asks again, becoming increasingly worried. Suddenly he catches sight of woman tackling a man to the ground and ripping into his clothes. Taylor’s mom lets out a sigh and a red light shoots out of her hand and hits the woman on the chest, causing her to collapse.
Taylor’s eyes swivel again and watches as a teenager rushes up to a mall cop and bashes his head in with his skateboard, swinging wildly and repeatedly.
“Fuck.” Taylor exclaims. Suddenly he senses an unusual presence, causing him to open his third eye. He saw a malicious and venomous green aura surrounding these people. What the fuck is that? Taylor wonders as he watches closely. Although the acts these people were committing were violent and unrestrained, Taylor saw that their eyes were filled with fear, with some of them closing their eyes as if to block out a thought. Why does this seem so familiar? Taylor asks himself with a raised eyebrow. It’s like the Instinct Refinement stage but it seems to be playing out these people’s worst fears… He thinks to himself.

Taylor snaps out of it and takes his phone out to call Johan.
“Yes?” A voice says over the phone.
“I think the tribulation is here. Or at the very least, it’s an appetizer. A meteor crashed into the mall and a green aura has possessed a bunch of people, causing them to act out instinctively. Whether it’s out of desire or fear, I’m not sure, but they’re doing some pretty shitty things.” He says, explaining the current situation.
“Oh.” Johan says before pausing a moment to think about it. “Okay. I’ll make the necessary calls. But leave the area for now and don’t approach the meteor. We’re not sure about that thing’s effect on cultivators.” He says, deciding to be careful.
“Are you sure? Cops and ambulances are coming. They’ll probably get possessed by that thing too. Also, not everyone has been affected. It seems like a decent amount of these people are able to hold on to their minds. There’s probably people to save.” Taylor says reluctantly. He really didn’t want to be responsible for it, but he should at least explain it like he saw it.
Johan chuckles. “Do what you want, Taylor. Just don’t touch the meteor. I’m warning you.” He says before hanging up. There were a few other calls he had to make.
Taylor lets out a sigh and looks to his mom. “Are you down for some clean up?” He asks, hoping she would say no. That way he would have an excuse to just leave.
Taylor’s mom sighs and puts her bags down. “So much for a day of shopping.” She says as she rolls up her sleeves, ready to do business.
Taylor chuckles. “Who knows. Maybe we’ll enjoy ourselves.” He says with a smile.
