Chapter 58 - Ready to Play Ball

After Taylor's soul refinement session, Taylor found that his cultivation energy was able to circulate faster. Taylor's eyes widen as it began to move faster and faster with practice. Fuck, the fifth stage is a progressive advancement stage. It isn't completely unlocked after breaking through. He thinks with surprise before sweat begins to break out from his forehead. Fuck. If I slacked off any further I think it could have locked me in. I wouldn't have been able to progress past the fifth stage in this lifetime. If I don’t start pushing harder towards the sixth stage it could still lock me in… Taylor thinks with some anxiety.

The dao of fire… We’re going to have to get to know each other better, my friend… He thinks, feeling the heat of his motivation.

Taylor turns on the lights. “Get up, bitches! It’s your lucky day!” He says with an evil grin.

The blood thralls begin to get out of their beds obediently, in a practiced manner, their eyes squinting against the bright lights. Then they saw Taylor and anger flashed in many of their faces.

“What the fuck do you want?” One of them asks maliciously, unable to hold it in.

Taylor smiles. “What’s wrong? All expenses paid trip to Oceanview not as great as you thought it would be?” He says with a loud laugh.

“You fucking bastard. When I get out of here, I’m going to find you and kill you. Mark my words.” The man grumbles under his breath, barely trying to hide it.

Taylor smiles, amused. “Good. That’s exactly the attitude I’m looking for. I’ve thought it over and you bunch are really too fucking stupid to continue living without any help. And I especially want to help out to the dumb but beautiful women in the room. Although I didn’t introduce you to this place, your sexy bodies still found its way here. Maybe that’s all the good they were made for? To be abused by those more powerful then them?" Taylor says before continuing to laugh even louder.

One of the men in the room couldn’t take it any longer and rushes at Taylor. “You fucking piece of scum! I’ll kill you!” He yells at the top of his lungs before throwing a punch.

Taylor doesn’t hesitate and kicks the man in the stomach, the hard impact sending him to the ground. “Know your place, trash. People like you were meant to be slaves for your betters. That’s how you entered this world and I would say that’s how you’ll leave it, but fate is fickle and I’m in the mood to fuck around.” He says with a smile.

Taylor activates his teleportation array and a large stack of books appear in the air before landing heavily onto the ground with a thud. A few of the people open their eyes wide at the magical display. Many of them knew something weird was going on around this place, considering the bite marks that would randomly appear on their bodies, but no one had been careless enough to show them anything they shouldn’t see.

“Everyone gather 'round and grab one. And don’t be shy about your stinky bodies. In fact, on the women, it’s kind of nice.” Taylor says with another laugh, not caring one bit, and even a little aroused.

The blood thralls began to move their aching bodies, one by one, gathering around Taylor to pick up a book; even the man who had been kicked to the ground.

“Alright. Now that everyone has a book, I’ll explain your current circumstances. You’re all blood thralls. Yes, don’t look surprised, all of your bodies are being used as containers for vampire food. Well, maybe the women’s bodies are also being used for something else. Actually, probably the men’s bodies too; some of you look pretty cute. I’m getting off topic. In case you haven’t realized it, the world is full of predators who prey on the pretty and the dumb, like you sorry sacks of crap. In a lot of places and in a lot of situations, no one can really do much about it. It’s just the way the world is. Vampires gotta eat and you people are the best food.” Taylor explains, not really caring if any of this was worth considering in their minds. I can try, but sometimes idiots are just idiots. He thinks, amused.

“But like I said, I’m in the mood to fuck around. So, although I can’t get you out of this place until your five-year term is up, I can give you a little strength; something to make survival a little easier.” Taylor says with a sigh. He wasn’t lying when he said he pitied them, but he normally wouldn’t care if he was given the choice. He would comfort himself by thinking that the animals who were lower on the food chain were probably ignorant enough to be happy, and continue on with his day, not doing a thing about it. But unfortunately, Taylor needed to make some progress in the dao of fire, or he would stagnate at the fifth stage of his cultivation.

“The book in your hand is a cultivation technique. And yes, it’s yours, free of charge if you want it. This specific technique is a path to confidence for you; a path to being the person you want to be. And if you want it to be, this could be a path to power or a path to revolution. But I don’t care about that. What matters to me is that all of you little shits start making some decisions for yourself. If you begin cultivating, maybe some of you will grow the cojones to look a vampire in the eye and play the game the way it was meant to be played, and maybe the women can start breaking vampire hearts. But that’s just a personal interest of mine.” He says with a chuckle.

“Anyways, if you bitches are ready to play ball, come sign the blood contract with this book.” Taylor says as he takes out his cultivation book from his inner jacket pocket.
