“Yes?” Taylor asks through the phone as he scans the files on his computer. He had interviewed his disciples and was planning on rewarding them accordingly. There were several who stood out in the group and Taylor planned to invest more heavily onto them There were also those that Taylor was mildly unimpressed with and if he was a cruel man he would just neglect them, so, in an attempt to be nice, he decided to do the bare minimum.
He was currently analyzing their strengths and personalities so that he could introduce them to various daos and disciplines. It would take a chunk of his wealth, but he had enough to spare.
“Taylor. It’s Charles.” A heavy voice says through the phone.
Sensing something solemn, Taylor’s eyebrow raised. “Is something wrong?” He asks, hoping he was wrong.
“Taylor. The Demon Heart vampires are on the brink of being wiped out. We lost many of our brothers and sisters. We even lost a Vampire Prince. We need the Axel family to step in.” Charles says, some desperation escaping his voice.
Taylor’s brows crease. This doesn’t sound good… And from what I know of the Axel family… Taylor thinks, not expecting a good outcome. The Axel family, since it was founded, had always prioritized the overall continuation of the clan. It wasn’t their style to step on any toes if they couldn’t do it in a smooth and acceptable manner.

“I can tell them, Charles. But I don’t expect them to be enthusiastic about the idea.” Taylor says carefully.
“No. You can’t just tell them, Taylor. You have to convince them. If you don’t…” Charles says, his words trailing off, getting weaker with a hint of regret.
“If I don’t? If I don’t, what, Charles? Did you do something?” Taylor asks with some worry. There were a few things he cared about in this world and like in most situations, Taylor was hoping that this would be a situation that he could shrug off. It wasn’t really a big concern to him whether the Demon Heart family were wiped out. Especially since Daryl’s passing…
“Taylor. We’ve kidnapped Maggie. We didn’t want to, but we were left with no choice. You have to act.” Charles finally says before letting out a breath.
“What!?” Taylor exclaims with wide eyes. “Charles, you dirty little worm. You little bitch of a man. If you touch a hair on her head, I’ll fuck you from sun-up till sun-down. I’ll fucking reduce your bullshit vampire pride till you forget you’re a man. You – fucking – bitch.” He says, the force behind his emotions pushing the words out with deadly intent.
“I’m sorry, Taylor. We had no choice. Please. Please reach out to them. We’ll make it up to you. I promise, Taylor.” Charles pleads. He was desperate and they had no idea what else to do. The closest thing they had to influence the Axel family was Maggie. As a witch of the Axel clan, she was unfazed by the tribulation and had continued to stay in Oceanview. For the Demon Heart family, this was the only opportunity they had.
“Fuck!” Taylor exclaims, feeling wrathful. “Wait for my call, bitch!” He yells before hanging up. “Fucking trash!” He yells again after the call had ended. He couldn’t get over how pissed off he was at this. Although Taylor had stopped seeing Maggie, he couldn’t forget his first night with her. It was so sinful… So tasty… Taylor loved her like a kid loved cake. It was so bad for him, but her body and soul… Taylor was like a moth drawn to a flame… If something happened to Maggie and the chance of them becoming reunited was hindered, rage would consume him. Taylor wouldn’t stop until he was sure the whole Demon Heart family was buried in the ground.
