Jesse rests her head on Taylor's shoulder. “Why are you banging so many women? Shouldn't you be more responsible?” Jesse asks as heaviness finds her eyes.
Taylor sighs. “I have no idea. I guess it's just the way things are.” He says, not sure how else to respond.
“Aren't you hungry for more than sex?” Jesse asks absentmindedly.
Taylor looks to Jesse and his mind wanders to her form beneath the blanket. “I don't know. There's just something about the human body. It's… just so sinful. As for your body; it's sexy as fuck.” He responds, a renewed hunger beginning to grow inside of him.
Jesse smiles. “Well, it’s yours now. Enjoy it while you can.” She says, her consent teasing Taylor’s possessiveness.
“Oh, I will.” Taylor says with a smile, as he leans in for a kiss.
After their lips separate, Taylor sighs again. “But you’re right. I’m a cultivator. There’s other food I should be eating… Something more spiritual...” Taylor admits, feeling the world’s responsibility beginning to weigh on his shoulders.
“You’re still young, right?” Jesse asks nonchalantly.
Taylor chuckles awkwardly. “I’m not so sure. Recently, I’ve been feeling pretty old.” He responds, not sure why he felt that way.

“I feel the same…” Jesse says with a sigh. “And children… They’re just so dumb. It hurts to exist in this place.” She says with a bitter smile.
Taylor looks to Jesse and had the urge to laugh. “Yeah…” Taylor says after a chuckle. “As for spiritual food, do you have any suggestions?” He asks, curious if Jesse had anything in mind to eat.
Jesse snorts. “You can try to find the beauty in a kid’s ignorance.” She says with some disdain.
Taylor takes a moment to think about it. “Yeah, that's not bad. But I kind of prefer something more fun. Maybe the beauty in violence?” He asks, pondering a few ideas.
Jesse eyes open to look at Taylor. “Yeah, that’s not bad. Should we go hunt some vampires? We can take a few pictures; see how the blood splatters onto the surroundings. Maybe we’ll find some beauty in the world.” She asks, letting her mind flow freely.
Taylor laughs out loud. This chick's wild. Taylor thinks with a smile. “We can definitely try it. But for now, I’m hungry for something a little closer.” He says as he climbs on top of Jesse.
“Are you sure I shouldn’t be on top?” She asks with a teasing smile.
“For today, we’ll just pretend.” Taylor says with a smile.
…
…
“Yeah. Says his name is Baron.” Taylor explains over the phone.
“And he tried to do what? Resurrect his dead wife?” Maggie asks with a stern voice.
“Yes. He seems to have thought things through though.” Taylor says casually.
“This isn’t as light as you make it out to be, Taylor. He’ll have to be imprisoned for a time. Some blood will be shed.” Maggie says, the anger in her voice seething out.
Taylor’s eyes widen a little. “Shit. That bad, huh? Well, we’ll send him over right away.” He says, ignoring the possible torture involved in this.
“No.” Maggie responds. “Someone will come by to pick him up. Just stay put for a while.” She says; she didn’t want to give the man a chance to run.
Taylor raises an eyebrow. “Okay. Whatever you say. I’ll text you where we’re staying.” Taylor responds. Work is so tiring... Taylor thinks with a sigh.
“Should I come over personally? We can catch up on a few things.” Maggie asks, the tone in her voice becoming lighter.
“Ugh…” Taylor says, glancing over to Jesse’s sleeping form. “Best not. I’ll come visit when I come back.” He says, trying to appease her.
“Okay.” Maggie says, her voice like a young girl on Christmas. “I’ll be waiting.” She says before hanging up the phone.
Taylor exhales a breath. I think Maggie was a mistake. Taylor begins to think. But fuck is the sex hot. Taylor continues to ponder. Taylor takes a moment of silence before coming to a decision. Yeah, I’m going to continue to bang her. He thinks with a laugh.
