After the man had flung away and landed in the distance, Taylor approaches the magical array. Immediately, he just begins messing things up. After a few things were destroyed and repositioned, the pressure of barrier lifted.
“You good, Jesse?” Taylor calls out.
“I'm good! I'm coming over!” Jesse calls out.
“Okay! I'm going to go get the warlock!” Taylor calls back.
“Okay!” Jesse calls back.
Taylor takes in their exchange and a smile forms on his lips. Do I love this girl? Taylor asks himself before refocusing. Business first. He thinks with a sigh before moving to find the bruised warlock.

“Ughh….” The witch groans as his body cringes from the pain. “Who the fuck are you?” He asks, not pleased at being interrupted.
“We’re just a couple rando’s my friend. Unfortunately we couldn’t stand to see you fuck yourself over and taint your own soul. So congratulations, you’re being rescued.” Taylor says with a smile.
“Ughh…” The man continues to groan.
…
…
“What’s your name?” Taylor asks as the man finally sits up.
“Baron. Of the Axel family.” The man responds, disgruntlement on his face.
“Oh, the Axel family?” Taylor says, surprised. “Shit bro. I guess we’re family then. Why are you trying to resurrect your dead wife?” He asks with a raised eyebrow.
“Family? I don’t know you.” The man says, taking a moment to spit on the ground. “As for why, why the fuck do you think I’m trying it? Why the fuck would anyone try it? I love her, you prick. I don’t want her to leave.” The man says, clearly pissed off.
“Well, fuck man. I think she did leave.” Taylor says with a sigh, not caring about being inconsiderate.
Jesse takes a moment to glare at Taylor before looking to the man on the ground. “You’re a witch, right? So you should probably know… This is against nature and it’s against the world. Why are you trying it while knowing that deep in your heart?” She asks, trying to coax the man.
The man lets out a long breath. “Fuck, I don’t know. I had to try. If I didn’t try it, no one would. And… I guess someone had to try…” The man says before letting out another sigh and letting his back fall to the ground. “But I guess it really is against nature… if the world sent you to stop me…” The man says, giving up on this attempt. I guess I should just let it go… He thinks, slightly unwilling.
