“I'm going back to Violet Hill. Do you think you can stay with your parents for a while?” Taylor asks as he begins to pack his things; he'd rather not involve his family in his bullshit.
“Why? What's wrong?” Sylvie asks with a raised eyebrow as she gives Taylor a suspicious look.
“It's nothing, just stay in town for a while. I'm catching the next flight back.” Taylor says as he zips up his bag.
Sylvie opens her mouth to say something before closing it and giving up. It's just a man being a man again… She thinks with some disdain. He'll come to me when he’s ready to talk… The big baby… Sylvie thinks while hiding a grin.
“I’ll call you when I arrive.” Taylor says as he grabs his bag and moves to exit the room.

“Hey, can I stay at your lair for a while?” Taylor asks while sitting in the backseat of a taxi. He had already checked the driver with his spiritual sense and the ride should be safe for the moment.
“Stay at our lair? Why?” Charles asks, not sure what Taylor was getting at.
“Well, first of all, you owe me for the recent meet and greet. Second of all, someone made the order; the hunt is on for my head.” Taylor says casually, causing the driver to take a peak at the rear-view mirror.
Charles chuckles in amusement. “That’s right, I forgot you were a wanted man. Well, what can you say, Taylor, it was bound to happen. You offended a lot of people; I’m just surprised it didn’t happen sooner. Must be because the war ended…” He says, offering his opinion. “And although we don’t owe you shit because we let your buddy back into the family… But yeah, you can stay with us. We’re kind of in the same boat anyways; the other side has been watching us closely too.” Charles says not really seeing an issue with the matter.
“Awesome. I’ll call you when I’m heading over.” Taylor says before ending the call.

When Taylor set foot in Oceanview city, he frowned. There was something malicious in the air. Fuck, I won’t make it back to Violet Hill… Taylor thinks with frustration. Taylor was hoping to make a stop at home to get some stuff before heading over to the Demon Heart vampire lair. But it seems I need to make a run for it as soon as possible… Taylor thinks as he considers his options. The house he stayed at during his few years in the city was nearby; his car was parked there too. There’s also a few things there that could be useful… He thinks before stopping a taxi as his anxiety began to build.
