“Taylor, where have you been? I thought I told you that Jesse was your responsibility. Do you know she started a war in the Middle East? The death count… It's high, Taylor…” Johan says, not quite sure how to explain it.

“Oh, shit? Really? My bad.” Taylor says, also not quite sure what else to say.

Johan sighs. “Never mind that. Just get her out of there. Also your parents have been asking about you. You haven't visited or called for a while.” Johan says, passing on the news.

“My parents? How do you know my parents?” Taylor’s asks with a raised eyebrow. It was news to him that they were in contact.

“Don’t you know, Taylor?” Johan asks, surprised. “I’ve known your dad for a long time. For a very long time. Actually, your dad is one of the craziest people I’ve ever met.” Johan says with a smile.

“What? What do you mean crazy?” Taylor asks, confused. Sure my dad’s a little wild but he isn’t crazy. Taylor thinks, wondering where this was coming from.

Johan laughs. “Taylor. Your dad is an Asura. He’s a seventh stage cultivator. And your mom has been on the fourth stage for a long time. Don’t you know?” He asks with a chuckle.

“What the fuck?” Taylor exclaims, not quite sure what to think. “Are you fucking serious? If my dad is a seventh stage cultivator then why the fuck would I need to ask you for so many favors?” He asks, a little mad at the idea of it.

Johan continues to laugh. “Like I said, Taylor, your dad is one of the craziest people I’ve ever met. Do you know what ‘raw justice’ is? Do you know what ‘no hesitation’ or ‘I see evil, I destroy evil’ means? Your dad is wild; he thinks everything is food for his cultivation. I have no idea how he fell in love with your mom. But since then, he’s retired. As for why he’s not doing you any favors; he’s the sort to force you to jump to see if you can fly. I wouldn’t trust him to do anything for you.” Johan explains, amused at the whole matter.

“What the fuck? Are you serious?” Taylor asks. This news was huge to him and it hit him hard.

“Actually, I feel like you’re sort of similar to him. You’re just a little softer and you tend to care about the random bullshit that crosses your path.” Johan says, sharing his view of the matter.

“Anyways, get to the Middle East right away. The Cultivation Association doesn’t care about the war, they just want you to get Jesse the fuck out of there.” Johan says before ending the call.

“Fuck.” Taylor exclaims after the call ended, still not sure what to think about it.
