“Why are you still with him? You should just hand him to me.” Maggie says with a smile as she snacks on some popcorn.
“You won't understand.” Sylvie says with a sigh as she sets her tea down. “I know Taylor. I know everything about Taylor. He has nothing to hide from me and he doesn't wish to hide anything from me. Even if he's a cheating bastard he's… a very comfortable person. I don't even think it's just love at this point and it's certainly not trust. He's just… very safe.” Sylvie says, trying to explain her experience.
Maggie stares at Sylvie, not sure what to say. Her mind begins to wander and suddenly a hot blush filled her cheeks. “Just lend him to me for a few years.” Maggie says, partially serious.
“Hah. Find your own, bitch.” Sylvie says ruthlessly as she takes a big sip of her tea.
“Hey, Sylvie. We’re family. Good things are meant to be shared. He won’t even answer my calls anymore. Put in a good word at least?” Maggie asks, hoping something would stick.
Sylvie smiles and takes another sip, ignoring her sister. That’s my boy. She thinks, happy that things were moving in a proper direction.

Taylor held her daughter close unwilling to admit his feelings. Just that the baby was comfortable enough to sleep in his arms made him feel things… made him feel things that he’d rather not feel. If he could rip out his heart and choose to live without emotions he just might do it if it meant he didn’t have to experience this uncomfortable love. Taylor looks up towards the sky and takes a moment to curse the heavens. Is it even a sin to murder for this love? He wonders before ignoring it. God’s a dick; that’s all I know… Taylor thinks before letting out a sigh.
“So I’ve been thinking it over…” Jesse says as she lounges in armchair nearby, lost in thought. “I think you’re eating all my crazy. It’s like you’re a crazy magnet. My crazy just resonates out of my body and gets absorbed to your body and it makes everything okay. Or something like that.” She thinks out loud, not sure how to put into words.
Taylor gives her a weird look. “What the fuck are you talking about?” He asks, not sure if he wanted to be involved in this conversation.
“It’s like you were made for me. Are you my soulmate?” Jesse asks, tilting her head to give Taylor a blank look, curious how he’d respond.
Taylor’s eyes open wide with fear. “Don’t ever say that to me. We’re just fuck buddies, Jesse. Fuck buddies that have a weird love for each other. Let’s not get any deeper than that.” He says, scared by the very idea of it.
“Okay, soulmate. Whatever you say.” Jesse says with a smile. There was a weird excitement inside her but also a deep fear. Just the idea of a soulmate was horrible when you were experiencing it. The intensity of that love… What happened when you lost it? It was enough to crush a person’s soul. Just the idea seemed taboo, so Jesse stopped the idea where it stood. Taylor’s right. We’re just fuck buddies. She thinks with a smile as she watches Taylor with their daughter. Jesse becomes lost in her feelings before becoming startled and looking away. “Damn.” She exclaims. This love is going to kill me. She thinks as she digs her nails into her legs and took a deep breath. “Hey, Taylor?” She calls out as she looks out of the window.
“What?” Taylor asks, his back turned to Jesse.
“Are you down for some anal?” She asks. She really needed to feel dirty right now.
“Ugh. Yes. Anal sounds good. You're ugh… such a slut by the way.” He says without looking back.
“Thanks.” She says with a chuckle.
