But ... he couldn't be a man. The decision was really difficult, because was he willing to trade something of himself for the power of so many points per level? Not to mention the improvements for his body?
Was it really important to be a man? That option was basically something that really got him going. In addition, the points were asserted retrospectively.
After all, instead of the 6 points from both races, that would be a lot more! And with the 8 standard + 1 special point per level, he would get 30 points per level. If the evolution started at 100, then he got 45 free points from the last stages and 31 x 30 was 930 + 45 points would be! This should represent the greatest boost in sheer power!
That may sound like a lot, but with the level fights became more demanding, more dangerous and he needed more and more experience to level up, so the extra points would just cover what he needed!
If he could have done it in that state, he would have started drooling. He knew that when it came to his chances of survival, this development was the ultimate.
And that without losing physical strength!
Did he have any other choice? You could always claim to have one, but if he wanted to survive in a world he was completely unfamiliar with, he would have always preferred better adaptation to anything else, besides, nothing seemed to be set in stone by magic. God only knows what can be solved with magic. Probably some other advancement could still make him a man again, or at least what he thought was a man. Couldn't he be a man in another body too? Was it really that important to him again ... No. He wanted that power whatever the price!
It should be the last resort. With one thought he confirmed this development to the system, whereupon a considerable change occurred in and around the cocoon.
This change could also be felt in the dungeon, after the pent-up mana there flowed in a single stream to its capsule, allowing every life there to perceive the changes that were going on.
Anyone who could see Mana would have seen small rivers forming in the air from all over the dungeon. These tiny threads of mana were drawn into the cocoon itself, only to be devoured.
Magna had long since lost consciousness during the process, with his body instinctively adopting a fetal position. In precisely this position, his body gradually began to change. The channels through which the mana flower in his body were expanded, the brain structures slightly altered, the additional ability to use the void more efficiently than in that one tiny opportunity changed his eye color to a deep purple while some of his hair strands underwent the same color development as his Veins turned darker than before under the light skin tone!
But the changes didn't stop there. In order to withstand the void better, his bone structure was also slightly changed, adjusted, his natural regeneration increased by a whole factor, with which injuries in the future would be healed much faster, because through the natural vitality, he could actively use the power of the void for its use.
Unknowingly, the dungeon had become an advantageous environment for his personal development in that much more energy was available in a concentrated form. Another lucky factor was that he slept while doing it, otherwise he would have gone mad with the pain.
The first time he woke up after the cube was lying in the silt, broke open like a water balloon and spat it out like a fetus along with the silt. He couldn't remember when he'd taken off his clothes, but it must have happened at some point. All of it was in his memory. He felt terribly sick after his development, which is why he vomited first of all. Much about him felt completely alien, novel, and perhaps developed?
He tried not to be distracted by the window that seemed to draw his attention to the fact that his skills could now grow beyond level 50. She also indicated that once they reached 100, minor developments in his skills awaited him. But it faded very quickly, because in his body he could already hear the mana rustling, how it shot right through him, if he compared it with before, then the mass was viscous in comparison! There was an incredible feeling of lightness in his new body!
He was still in that feminine body, but that was perfectly fine for the moment! Unfortunately, he didn't have a mirror in which to see the changes, but for now that didn't really matter. Basically this body was just a vessel and as long as he kept this in mind, he could look at himself in a much more differentiated way.
With another thought, he called his clothes from the attic to himself, which he projected quickly as usual directly onto his body. It was a pleasant feeling to have developed. Now he just had to distribute the new points. For the first time in a while he was calling up his status again!

One thing was crystal clear to him, his hobby horses were still his intelligence, as well as his willpower. So he first brought his intelligence to 1000, his willpower to 500, he doubled his vitality to 300 and then he distributed the rest to the various stats so that these were round. He put the leftovers in his Voidcraft which will certainly play a bigger role in the future.
Immediately he could feel how the energies began to distribute in his body. It was just an intoxicating feeling again. Probably he shouldn't have distributed the points so carelessly in large quantities, but slowly brought the individual areas upwards, but from the development, as well as the process, he didn't really think about it.
It was probably the only moment when he could be seen drooling like an idiot while indulging in the intoxication. In the future he had to be really careful not to develop an addiction to this feeling.
He wanted to jump right through the walls to measure himself against anything the dungeon threw at him, but the more rational part of his mind forced him to take a precautionary calm after igniting a few skills that he used to do Change checks.
From the outside you would hardly have noticed a difference, but inside?
He could almost feel how much faster the skills were taking shape. But the biggest change came with creating new spells!
What was particularly serious was the time difference between the point at which he imagined the model and at which it was transformed into a tangible reality.
Almost everything that had to do with magic was also cheaper! Not to the extent that he felt he was able to circumvent the possible, but strong enough that he could still feel it. This was revealed, for example, in the intuitive mana control and the associated supply! Variations in his mana infusion with magic had been reduced tremendously.
Only after he had his mana, his health and the adjustments due to the changed values under better control, did he decide to continue exploring the dungeon.
Unfortunately he had lost track of time. How long was it in that capsule? How long was he in the dungeon? Usually he had a reasonable internal clock, but in this case he had spent too much time underground.
It was finally time. With the new skills and abilities that strengthened his renewed self-esteem, he shaped and returned to battle. In his right hand he held the war hammer and on his left arm was a concentrated mana shield.
As expected, the first enemy he met was a goblin. In addition to the regular corpses of the spiders, the outcome of the battle is already revealed to him. Fortunately, the little monsters had been separated from their reinforcements.
He knew that someone was near him even without having seen him. Mana waves caught him very early. This little monster crept alone through a corridor whereupon he decided to intercept it at an intersection. With the war hammer, he transformed the head of the man with a powerful swing around the corner into another modern work of art.
In this way he worked his way through the various rooms until he encountered the first group of two, rather than one, exploring the outer areas.
The question was how he would go up against larger groups of enemies. This required a more targeted approach than before! Well, it wasn't as if he had been any less careful before, but the hammer and the ascending steps in it were an indescribably satisfying one. How else should he describe it?
Now he needed more than just caution. First and foremost, he needed a battle plan. Clearly they were capable of simple strategies and problem solving so he needed more than just strength, which he used with a blunt instrument.
What options were available? Could he use the lumen like a stun grenade? Attack from a distance first? Reshaping the battlefield? Separate the two by a glare, lock one away and finally switch them off one after the other.
Why did he make it so complicated? Did he still want to use the hammer? After all, he had already faced large groups of enemies. But was it the same? Probably not. Everything he fought before was stupid compared to the gobs, fought instinctively or was directed. Whenever he could, he changed the battlefield in his favor, to use their numbers against them, but the situation here had been radically different.
The premises were bigger - the little guys would probably try to solve the problem if he presented them to an unknown threat, as they had already proven on the crossing.
So he first attacked the two from a distance with magic. The first one who carried a primitive bow he burned with one of the larger invisible fireballs whereupon the other jumped behind a pillar against the hit one who could not even understand what was happening to him until it was too late!
Increasing his spell range with willpower had been an excellent decision. From the second he did not expect an attack for the time being, so he began to illuminate the area with his lumens.
This place was clearly a smaller hall with a few different machines scattered around its walls, most of which reminded of the working machines, but these were a bit more sturdy? He somehow missed the exact words, because he didn't hope to meet Gundam Dwarfs at some point.
Actually, he hadn't paid so much attention to the second. He was all the more surprised when one of the better preserved machines began to detach itself from the wall.
In Mana Ping there was clearly the little bastard in there! Unfortunately for the little one, he had chosen one of the rusty ones. Even with the first steps, the machine, a little over 2 meters high, fell on one knee. The open access hatch waved around on the back. He could easily circle the machine and a ball of fire in the access hatch quickly ended the goblin and the machine collapsed without function.
Who would have thought that the machines would still work this far? It should make sense to thoroughly illuminate the hall. Just in case he found more. In some rooms along the walls he found corpses that were still carrying weapons. In one of the rooms there was a whole shelf full of various battle tools. How long did it take him to explore the entire dungeon?
At the end of this hall there was a bay that was closed by 5 meter high massive gates that still shine as brightly as on the first day they were presumably used there. Even with the height of his strength, he could only open the doors very slowly. Behind it was probably the most beautiful boy’s dream he has ever seen. In front of his eyes was a machine in a holder that probably seemed to be superior to the others in everything else. Its metal shone as strongly as the gates that closed this bay. At a height of three meters, this beauty towered over him. There was a gigantic hammer made of the same material on the wall. A grin flitted across his face.
