He said he would like to not have the Faewin name not always be linked to an asshole shapeshifter. He went on to say that his encounter with the treasure made him more focused and able to shift fully. No one contradicted him. He said he didn't know where they all got the two treasure things from, because he only remembered the one, and it was crap. An empty glowing cave that collapsed as soon as they left.
He said he remembered the desert, but with an upside down map he said all he remembered was that it was hot. They all agreed and let all the information settle down amongst themselves. Finally Dresden said that was great, but did anyone know how they were getting out of the magic room.
Gathering their stuff by the door, they looked around for anything that might be useful, but no such luck. Feeling frustrated, Endermon thought about what she would do at home if she were stuck on something, and the only thing that came to mind was her meditation. She pulled Shiloh aside and said what she would be doing, and could she keep the other two from interrupting for a bit?
Shiloh nodded and led the other two to a different corner of the room. Then Endermon started her exercises. At first they were kind of choppy and abrupt, but as she got into it, her movements became more fluid and graceful. Shiloh even forgot what she was doing a couple times, because she kept staring at Endermon.
Finally Endermon finished and she said pendants. Everyone looked puzzled until Endermon said they got in with the pendants, they should be able to get out with them as well. They all pulled them out and began looking for things with pendant shaped slots in them.
And then she remembered how they had to work together to get the traps set. So they huddled together to discuss the possibilities. There was a strange stone above the door, and it looked out of place. So Endermon had Dresden go look at it.
Shifting into a bird, he flew up there and with a few swipes of a talon, the stone was free, except it was wooden. When he came back down, he said there was a weird shaped hole behind the block of wood. Digging a quill out of their bags, he sketched it onto the back of the big scroll.

Seeing the shape Endermon asked if Rutus could make something like that, and Rutus said all she needed was some metal and Shiloh zipped around collecting bits of metal for her. It wasn't long before she had something that resembled the shape.
Dresden took the shape and monkeyed his way to the top of the door and put the metal in the hole. There was a click and a panel opened next to the door. And as suspected, there was a place to put the pendants. But this time a riddle appeared as three of the slots closed.
It had something to do with plants and animals, so Endermon read it and in a few minutes gave an answer. The door opened to a world full of plant life. She kissed Shiloh and took her portion of stuff with her. No one noticed that the treasure chest had gotten smaller when she left.
Shiloh tried to follow her but a wall of thorns and vines prevented her from going further. The door shut and another slot opened up. The next sentence was in an ancient language so that was Shiloh's cue. She figured out her riddle and after grabbing her stuff, headed out.
The treasure chest was smaller once again, but neither one noticed. They were too busy staring at the wall. Another slot opened up and a blacksmiths anvil showed up. Rutus read and solved her riddle, grabbed her stuff and was out the door.
Dresden didn't have to wait long because a picture of a man turning into an animal showed up. He solved his riddle, and grabbed the last of the stuff and headed out. No one noticed the size of the chest.
Who knows how long the four wandered through their separate worlds, because soon enough they were emerging from the same door they went in at the beginning. This time the lights were on, and they could fully see the state of the building.
There were cracks in the walls, the carpet was well worn and threadbare in places. The paint was peeling and you could see light come through parts of the ceiling.
