But after a moment, she said because of her new abilities, she had accidentally healed Rutus, and therefore felt obligated to show her the ability to talk to animals and influence plant life. Shiloh asked how she took it and Endermon told her, surprisingly well. Shiloh then asked if she had told Dresden, and Endermon laughed. She said he knew she was a fairy, and that was it. The less he knew about her abilities and lineage, the better. Shiloh agreed.
Shiloh told Endermon that she didn't feel the pull of sleep when dawn was approaching anymore. She said it was strange when she hadn't felt just tired in a while. Putting her hand up, shiloh told her that no, she hadn't tried going out in the daylight yet. Enfermon tried to hide her disappointment. Shiloh leaned over and kissed her temple and said there'd be other times and she had only put her hand in the glowing water. She had not been submerged like the others.
Not tired, but needing sleep anyway, they decided to lie together in the quiet and just be. They talked about where they might go next, but without any hints or leads, they thought it best if they just stayed put until they heard something. Shiloh asked what was going to happen to the place when they went on their next leg of the journey. Shrugging, Endermon pulled Shiloh's arm over her and snuggled in close.
Waking up in the morning, Endermon got up to see if there was any word from anyone. There was a parcel near the road that had their names on it. Recognizing her mother's handwriting she opened the outer layer. There were four other packages inside. Each one had one of their names on it. Closing the package, she took it into the main room so they could open them together, with the exception of Shiloh of course.
With a quick knock on both doors, everyone was out and inspecting the packages. Feeling like a special occasion, everyone guessed what might be in theirs. Seeing writing on the inside of the main package, Endermon told them to open the others carefully. Knowing her parents it was a puzzle or riddle that needed solving.

With everyone opening packages, there was no time for breakfast. Not that anyone was complaining, mind you. There was a loud shout of triumph from Dresden who had gotten into his first. It was a collection of dried meats and a bear pendant. While he dove into his snacks, Endermon looked at the wrapping. It looked to be a piece of a map. Reminding Dresden that he needed to write a note to the people who sent the package, Endermon turned to Rutus.
Rutus carefully opened hers and found some weapons maintenance equipment. That came from her father, Endermon was sure of it. There were some food bits in there as well, but the badger pendant and the weapon stuff was the real prize. Carefully taking the wrapping, Endermon figured it would be another piece of a map. And it was.
With pressure from the other two, Endermon laughed, and started opening hers. She noticed her mother artfully removed any mention of royalty, kingdoms or anything that could let a non fairy know that the package was from a king or queen.
Endermon found her favorite fried fruits and some herbs and spices from the royal garden. There was a hummingbird pendant, that she put on immediately. After setting the contents aside, she spread out the four pieces of fabric and started rearranging them on the table. The other two came over and decided to help.
Well Rutus helped, Dresden kept trying to make the map into male private parts. Seeing they would need Shiloh's package to finish the map they decided to prepare breakfast and discuss where they might be going next.
After breakfast, they went outside at Rutus's urging. There, they found three sets of armor. Rutus was nearly bouncing with excitement, she ushered them to a specific suit and had them try on the various pieces. To everyone's surprise, they fit exactly as they were supposed to. And they had al the specifics they would all need, should they find themselves suddenly needing to be protected.
