When they were all at the top they looked around. All they saw was a hole in the cliffside, some yards away. Not having a touch, nor anything to make one, they needed something that could be a light source and Dresden said he could turn into something that would be able to see in little or no light.
So reversing their order Dresden changed into a large owl. Never having changed into a bird before, he was unsure if he could fly or not. So keeping close to the wall he said the rocks made a difficult, but natural staircase. He'd hop down a rock and stretch out his wing. Once Rutus felt that, she'd follow, and Endermon would bring up the rear. They did this for who knows how long, because the lack of light messed with their sense of time. However, as they went further down the cave began to get lighter. Turns out there was a glowing pool at the bottom of the cave.

Dresden was so distracted by the sudden light, that he missed the next rock. Surprised curses left his mouth seconds before the splash. This caused Rutus, who was waiting for the signal, to fall after him. Endermon, who had inadvertently tapped into ger fairy heritage and could plainly see in the dark, jumped in after them.
It was relatively shallow and it didn't take long for for them all to resurface. As the water ran off of them, they looked around. Closer to the water they could see the rocks to get back to the top of the cave. But more curious was the inky blackness of another part of the cave that apparently didn't have a glowing pool in it.
As if drawn to it like a rope was pulling them they got in there and glowing lights along the wall led them to an altar where a chest used to be. Disappointed they turned around and found themselves in a closed room. The strange lights were the last things they remembered before blacking out.
