Endermon yawned and curled into Shiloh. Cuddled up together Shiloh watched as dawn broke and started lightening up the room. Wishing she could stay, but not knowing if she should, Shiloh got up, pulled a blanket over Endermon and quietly went to her carriage.
Waking up in the later morning, Endermon could smell something burning. Not house material, just something left on the stove too long. She made her way outside and saw Dresden attempting to cook. Whatever it was supposed to be, was sitting on a plate.
Endermon received a too large portion and tried to eat it. Identifying something that was supposed to be meat, she gingerly took a bite. It was burnt and Dresden used no spices that she could find. Waiting until he wasn't looking she hastily spit her bite out into her hand.
Excusing herself, she went to the rubbish heap, and threw away the offending morsel. Rinsing her hands with some of the wash water, she went back in. Rutus had awakened and stared dubiously at the 'food'. With a quick shake of her head Endermon signaled her to not partake.
Finding some fruit instead Rutus asked what was the deal with the parchment on the table. Going over and rearranging them, Endermon showed them the map with the treasure being somewhere in the desert. Abandoning the terrible food, they started discussing how to go about it.
They decided a trip into town was in order. There they would sell what they could, stock up on things they needed, and possibly get someone to stay and look over the place while they were gone.
With a quick clean up of breakfast, a bit of wandering around gathering items to sell or barter, and an eagerness to get going, they armored up and got on their horses. They were pulling a small two-wheeled cart that had their stuff to sell, plus food and water for the albeit quick journey.
It was late afternoon when they got into town. They went straight to work. This time, no one was wary of them. Whatever the reason, they got their tasks done relatively quickly. Rutus sold the knives and thrown together armor and got quite a good amount for it all. Dresden did whatever it was that he did and managed to come back with a box that clinked suspiciously.

Endermon had the hardest time. Both in getting the materials sold and in acquiring stuff that would last on the journey. Mainly because some of the females in town kept trying to flirt with her. Even after telling them she was a female herself. Not that she wasn't flattered, but she was still figuring out what she had with Shiloh.
But in the end, they all got what they needed or wanted and they found an out of work tradesman who would stay at the house while they were gone. Not having room on the horses, the man opted to ride in the cart. Endermon being smaller said he would be better suited for riding on her horse. He tried to refuse, but Endermon was having none of it.
She made herself comfortable in the cart and listening to the animals talk back and forth, took a nap. She woke up when they got back. She helped put stuff away and then got started on dinner. With an extra person, Endermon made sure to make a larger than normal meal.
She sent Rutus to ask their guest if there was anything he didn't like, and had to ask herself when she saw the two deep in conversation. Dresden was sitting there with a scowl on his face. Endermon guessed it was because Rutus was not paying attention to him.
With Dresden pouting, sorry, sulking, Endermon had to serve the food herself. She was relieved when Shiloh sauntered up, since it was after dusk. Together they got the meal served and even convinced Dresden to share one of his bottles.
There was drinks and laughter throughout the meal. The only awkward parts were when Dresden tried to out-man the tradesman, whose name he purposely never learned. But he got his butt handed to him every time.
At the end of the meal when everything was put away, Rutus hid away with the man, and Dresden sulked about and ended up slamming his door as he went to his room.
