She deftly positioned them away from Dresden. She didn't want a scene. They talked about what drew Rutus to the riverbank and she said she heard there was something that granted world wide fear or respect to the finder of the treasure. They sat for a while in silence as the situation they were all in sank in. After some food, they bid each other good night. She pointed Rutus in the opposite direction of Dresden, and since it was a warm night, they were all able to sleep in the open with very little cover.

Well before Endermon could sleep, Shiloh came over and they discussed the situation. They both agreed to keep what was between them secret. They didn't need any more drama than what Dresde and Rutus were bound to throw at them.

They shared a moment of silence and Shiloh made a movement to stand, but Endermon grabbed her arm and asked her to stay. She smiled and settled back in. With her arm around Endermon, she stayed until she fell asleep. With dawn rapidly approaching, she placed a kiss on Endermon's forehead and quickly slipped away to sleep.

It was mid-morning when Endermon woke up. A quick look around told her that she was the first one awake. She stretched and got up to make breakfast. As she gathered the ingredients, she wondered what to do for the next leg of her journey and whether or not the others should come along. With no clear answer in sight, she continued to make the morning meal, certain she'd find what she was looking for later.

As the smells of food wafted around, the others and a man she didn't recognize, made their way to the fire. With rudimentary utensils, they ate in silence as the last bit of sleep left their faces.

As if sensing her curiosity, the man said his mistress sends her regards and she would join them at dusk. She nodded and went back to eating. The other two looked back at him with suspicion. He went on to ask if they were, indeed staying till nightfall, and they all nodded, as there was no plan in place as to what the next steps were.

After breakfast, he left saying something about finding his mistress some food.
