Soon enough, they had a small procession going through town. A couple of carpenters, a blacksmith, a seamstress (who was married to one of the carpenters) and an apprentice or two along for the ride. Endermon took the front position, to guide the way, Rutus in the middle, and Dresden, who had found time to get a shave and tame his beastly hair, had a lady with him. But he picked up the rear for protection and defense, should it come to that.
Soon enough, they came to the hut and activity commenced. There was pounding, sawing, and people going to and fro for this or that. And with the day nearing its end, everyone pitched in to make enough food for all to have at least a decent dinner. All working people got paid handsomely for the trip out there and their hard work. By the time everyone left (well except Dresden's 'friend') there were three new rooms with doors, and a small forge/kitchen. Not to mention a decent stable for the horses.
With dinner cleaned up and most everyone gone, Endermon set up her room in the one farthest away from Dresden. If there were things going on in his room, she wanted no part of it, besides Rutus volunteered to be in the middle room anyway. Saying goodnight to everyone, Endermon sat by the fire and thought about the events of the day.
Shiloh came strolling in and sat beside her. They sat in companionable silence, until Shiloh glared in Dresden's direction. Endermon could guess what was going on, but felt the need to tease Shiloh about it. She asked if Shiloh felt left out. Shiloh said no, but they didn't have to be so obvious about it. Endermon asked what they were thinking, all the while wishing they could do just that.
Shiloh snickered as she related how great Dresden thought he was doing and how bored, yet eager for the money the girl, (sorry, 'lady') was. The two of them had a quiet laugh, and Endermon felt sorry for Rutus, having to listen to that all night. Shiloh said not to worry, as Rutus was out like a light.
They paused as what happened sunk in. Either Shiloh was getting better at reading Endermon's body language, or Shiloh had successfully just read Endermon's mind. Whatever it was, had them stunned for a second. Then Endermon decided it was time.

She wordlessly grabbed Shiloh's hand and led her to the bedroom. Later on, as they lie there, comfortably being in each other's presence, Shiloh didn't feel the pull to go and sleep, since it was early in the morning. She didn't want to leave, but she also didn't wish to find out what the daylight would do to her. So after quietly getting dressed, she went to her carriage to spend the day.
As Endermon was setting up for breakfast she saw the woman trying to slink away without being seen. Endermon said she didn't have to sneak, as Dresden wouldn't even remember her name when he awoke, if he even bothered to learn it. The woman looked far less ashamed but was now angry, as she had a right to be. Not at her situation, because she knew what she was doing, but at Dresden who had no concept of basic courtesy.
Endermon offered to give her a ride to town, but the woman declined, saying she'd be alright. Giving her a small knife to keep her safe, Endermon watched as she disappeared from view. She turned around to see Dresden's head peeking around his door. He caught her eye and asked what she thought. He just laughed when Endermon called him a pig.
This time it was Rutus who was the last to wake. As Dresden was seated near the fire half dressed and looking incredibly pleased with himself, Rutus pulled Endermon to the side and spoke low enough so he wouldn't hear them. She asked what was going on and Endermon told her, well not about her and Shiloh, but what happened with the woman and Dresden.
Rutus nodded and they started making breakfast. It was a simple one and it didn't take long to make. Telling Dresden to get a shirt on, Endermon set bowls out on the table. They ate and made conversation. They still didn't know what to do about the treasure, not to mention their new abilities. Or at least they tried to talk about them, but Dresden took that opportunity to hijack the conversation. He started bragging about himself and the girls tuned him out. Not that he noticed or anything.
