They kept walking as he flew. He got smaller but never out of sight. After a few minutes, he began getting closer again, and once he landed, he turned back into a human. He gave an estimate of how long he was flying.
Passing around the flask, they carried on towards the rocks. Thinking how long they had been walking, and how far they still had to go made them wish they had brought the horses. And seeing as it was getting to be evening, they stopped for the night.
They had just made a fire and were munching on some food when Shiloh walked up. She put her arm around Endermon's waist and after kissing her on the cheek, asked how things were going. Endermon enjoyed seeing the looks on Dresden and Rutus's faces.
Saying nothing about this new development, Endermon told Shiloh all that had happened since the day before. Dresden asked how Shiloh found them and without a beat, said that her driver pointed out the direction they left in, and when she saw the fire, she knew she was in the right place. Dresden looked skeptical, but Rutus said that seemed about right.
Shiloh asked if they would like to have the horses brought to where they were and Endermon said if it was not going to be a bother, then it would be nice. Knowing that Shiloh could probably carry the horses herself and be back before the other two even registered that she was gone, made Endermon smile.
With a look of understanding, Shiloh purposely walked off at a normal pace until she was out of sight, then she zipped off to get everything transported. With a few words to her driver, they got everything in one spot. She had the driver go slow enough that the other two horses could go with him.
Shilohwent up to Endermon's horse and asked if it was okay if she hooked her up to the cart. Not having Endermon's gift for talking to the animals, Shiloh held put her hand, and the horse nuzzled into her touch. Taking that as a sign that it was okay, Shiloh hooked up the cart and gently started out. The horse went leisurely for a bit then when Shiloh nudged her to go faster, the horse happily went.

It seemed like only minutes later, they were all pulling up near the fire. Everyone pulled together to set up camp, and it was up in a few minutes. With the driver going to bed, Shiloh suggested a game of poker. Dresden pulled out a bottle and poured everyone a glass.
After a few rounds, it devolved into a betting game. There was enough alcohol, so if someone made a bet and couldn't complete it, they had to drink. If the other person couldn't, then that person had to drink. At first it was harmless stuff like, I bet you can't hold your breath to the count of thirty, and as the bets happened, the worse they got.
Everyone was plastered enough so when someone bet that Rutus wouldn't kiss Dresden, she got all up on his business and kissed him passionately. He actually sat there speechless for a few seconds afterwards. The bottle ran out shortly after that, and they went to their cots. Now whether it was with or without Shiloh's influence, it didn't escape Endermon's notice that Rutus and Dresden seemed to go to the same area.
When Endermon looked at Shiloh, Shiloh just smiled and shrugged. When those unmistakable noises of someone getting intimate arose, Shiloh and Endermon snickered. Shiloh said it would be fun tomorrow and that Endermon should tell her how it went. Seeing as there was still a bit of time before dawn, Shiloh stood up and held out her hand.
When Endermon took it Shiloh picked her up bridal style and zipped off to a remote part of their immediate area. Then after setting her down gently, they took part in their own nightly activities. Lying on a blanket that had hastily been put down to prevent sand entering places sand had no right to be, they looked at the stars.
They talked about everything and nothing up til dawn was breaking. Once they were dressed and their blanket was folded, Shiloh zipped them off to the campsite. Doing a quick mind read of Dresden and Rutus assured them that they wouldn't be noticed or waking anyone up.
