Endermon went to the hospital to do one last healing and to show the healthier ones how to help the more seriously injured one's. Rutus showed them how to make traps and alarms to alert them of intruders. Also how to disarm them if someone accidentally got caught in them.

Dresden and the maid self appointed themselves the mentors of the young shapeshifters. They would train them and guide them into being the best versions of themselves they could be. They were also temporary ambassadors to the fairy kingdom.

It was a sad time as the group prepared to leave Dresden and the maid in the village. Shiloh presented the leaders of the village with a sum of money and ger personal guarantee that she would help, they just needed to send the word.

If anyone xared about her being a vampire, they didn't show it. They accepted the funds and wished her well. As Shiloh went back to the group, Endermon threaded her fingers between Shiloh's and pretended they weren't getting weepy.

With a final farewell, the three of them rode off out of the village and back towards their house. There was no denying that the ride was quieter but they could also just ride and chat. Plus with Dresden at the village Shiloh could ride his horse.

Despite the circumstances, there was easy conversation, and a light mood. They wondered what would happen to the village and how the supplies would go down with the villagers. They could only wait for the letter, and to do that, they needed to be at home.

They rode on, swapping stories of Dresden's mishaps. Endermon recalled when Dresden tried to hit on a man. She said it wasn't his fault, the man did have really nice hair from the back. But when he turned around with a full face of hair, Dresden suddenly had other places to be.

Shiloh told them of a time when he wanted to sneak up on her and scare her. She waited til he was about to 'pounce' and she told him he needed different cologne. They all snickered at the thought of Dresden thinking he could surprise Shiloh.

Rutus chimed in with a time he tried to out-throw rutus in a knife throwing contest. He lost by a long shot, but claimed he did it on purpose. When they were picking up the knives, Rutus flicked one last knife out of her hand and it speared a falling leaf. As a bonus it embedded itself and the leaf about an inch from Dresden's face. Rutus said something startled her and it was just a reflex.

It was late in the afternoon when they stopped for a bite to eat and to stretch their legs. They had a quick lunch and were on their way again. With it being so quiet, Endermon was able to listen to the animals and hear what they were saying.

Wasn't much of importance, but small bits of information popped up here and there. There was talk of a gang of bandits in the area. The birds also mentioned a bounty for them if anyone was lucky enough to catch them.

Asking the birds where they were seen last, Endermon apologized for eavesdropping. The birds were not bothered by this, they were tired of their relatives disappearing. So they gave Endermon directions to the area they had been seen in.

As Endermon nudged her horse in the direction the birds said, the others followed her lead. Endermon stopped and asked Shiloh if she could hear anything that sounded 'off'. Shiloh listened for a but and said there was a group of people not far away that were having some very loud and conflicting thoughts.

Endermon asked if she could tell them apart. Shiloh said she'd have to get closer. She zipped off and was back a few minutes later. There was about five of them and a couple of them just wanted to go home, as they had made a huge mistake.

The othe three were each thinking they were in charge and had different ideas as to where to hit next. They were trying to make a name for themselves, although it wasn't working out for them. Vendetmon asked if she could get the two away from the three.

Shiloh raised her eyebrow in an amused but did you seriously just ask me that kind of way. Endermon smirked and playfully shoo'd her away. Soon enough, two very frightened people ran towards them and were easily detained.
