Dawn was approaching so she signaled her driver to find an appropriate space for her daily sleep. He found a clearing not too far from town that was secluded enough that the carriage would be away from prying eyes. After taking the necessary precautions, he settled in for the day, ready to give his life for his mistress, should it come to that.
After getting just enough food for him to survive on, but not away from the carriage too long, the sun began to set. An alabaster hand beckoned him close. She told him she desired food and he should acquire it for her. He hopped down and said he would be sending some food shortly.
She got dressed and waited by her carriage impatiently. With her food not appearing fast enough, she zipped to the edge of the clearing to ambush her prey. Hoping for a strapping young thing to sate her thirst, she was surprised to hear a couple of voices in the distance. One belonged to a musician, and the other was a mystery.
About ready to pounce, she was enraged when the second voice sent her meal away, on a horse, no less. She saw a young man staring after her meal riding away. Hoping to scare him into being a replacement meal, she silently drew her sword and in a flash had the boy by the arm and her sword at his throat.
She demanded the boy tell her who he thought he was driving away her meal. In a clearly frightened, but petulant tone he said that people weren't food. She reached out telepathically and encountered the sensation of inky blackness. Not having encountered someone she could not 'read' was frustrating and she let out some not so lady like words.
This lapse let the boy be able to turn in her grasp and see her face. Then he did something unexpected. He took his hair down. The blue at the bottom half of his hair was mesmerizing. Then he spoke. He said he was the crown princess of the fairy kingdom. Well that changed things.

She looked at the princess with interest, and tried communicating again. Still nothing. She asked what was wrong and Shiloh told her she could usually use telepathy to read people's minds and she cheekily answered that she couldn't read hers either. That made her smile, so she put her sword away.
Still hungry but in a good mood, she gave her name and got the princess's name as well. In a suggestive tone, she leaned in and told her that as fun ad it had been she was still hungry and if she didn't want to be next, she had better find her something to eat. Endermon looked her up and down with a certain type of intrigue. It was nice being on the receiving end of attraction. Whether it was just the moment or something more, she didn't know because the silence was shattered by the sounds of an angry canine creature attempting to get food by excessive force. They ran to see what was going on, and Shiloh was shocked to see vines coming up from nowhere binding the creature in place.
There was a look of concentration on Endermon's face as she contained the beast. With a nod of acknowledgement Shiloh launched herself at the wolf, hoping that the fairy was not squeamish. After draining the poor creature she felt the still warm blood on her face and without thinking Shiloh wiped her mouth off with the back of her hand and licked it off. She knew exactly what her actions were doing to the fairy.
After promising to see her later, she ran back to her carriage using her faster than average speed. She got her driver to get started and she hopped on the back and darted inside to think about the encounter. As she rode off into the night, she hoped the others she would meet might be as interesting as the fairy princess she left behind in the forest clearing.
