Sparring was one thing, but to actually defend oneself from receiving bodily harm was entirely another. For one thing, depending on how bloodthirsty the opponent, the less likely they would hold back. Endermon disliked fighting and wished to avoid it whenever possible. But her father insisted she be able to defend herself, so when she was not working on princessly stuff like etiquette, crafting, and politics, her father taught her how to care for and use weapons properly.
Feeling a wave of homesickness wash over her, she sent out a request to the birds to send a message of her quest to her parents and see if she could get a reply from them. It wasn't specific, but when a flock of birds took off, she was certain her message would be sent and received.
Endermon finished preparing lunch and set it out on the table. There was bread, some meats, produce, and she even managed to get a small dessert made. Not bothering to inform the other two, she grabbed a bowl and started eating. She didn't have to worry, be ause a few minutes later, the other two joined her.
After they ate and cleaned up, Rutus began working on making actual sets of armor that would be tailor made to the three of them and have their individual needs in mind. Using the materials the smiths left, and the stuff she had accumulated, Rutus got to work.
Dresden decided he didn't have enough muscle mass, so he started doing muscle building exercises. And to Endermon's dismay, he was once again without a shirt. He was only picking up large branches and rolling big rocks around, but Endermon didn't wish to witness it so she went to her room to meditate. She rolled her eyes as Dresden called out and said she was missing the show.
Fighting the urge to use an obscene gesture, Endermon walked to her room and shut the door. Doing calming exercises that her mother had taught her, the tension and other negative feelings left her feeling relaxed after the events of the day. She must have gotten too relaxed because the next thing she knew, it was dark out and someone was knocking on her door.

Rubbing the sleep from her eyesand checking for drool, she told them to come in. Shiloh came in and sat on the bed. She nudged Endermon and said she gave her driver quite a show. Making some poor man run off like a wild animal was after him.
Endermon asked what all he saw, and Shiloh related what she had been told, which was the man tried to steal the horse, the three of them roped him and crowded around him. Two stepped back, and after being kicked at, Endermon expertly flicked a knife at him and missed his face. Then seeing the knife, Rutus threw her axe and also expertly missed the man's head.
He couldn't hear what was being said, but it sounded like the man was sobbing. After a few seconds of him blubbering, the rope was gone and so was he. Endermon sighed and told her there was something else to it. She asked if Shiloh remembered when they met, how she trapped a wolf for her? Shiloh was amused but didn't say no, waiting for the punchline.
Endermon said after the cave, some of her abilities got magnified, and she acquired a few more along the way. Shiloh was intrigued. Endermon took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She opened them and asked if she noticed anything different. Shiloh said the eyes were new. Endermon, who could see the planes of Shiloh's face, was amazed at how beautiful the vampire was.
Perfectly styled hair that cascaded past her shoulders, crimson lips and aristocratic cheekbones. Dark eyes that one could get lost in, and impeccably dressed. Wearing a perfectly tailored dress that showed off every sensual curve of her elegant body. Shiloh cleared her throat, concern coloring her features. Endermon apologized and said that yes, her eyesight was enhanced and, she could heal by touch.
Shiloh nodded, and said that must be why they could sometimes do the mind thing. Shiloh told her that even though they had the conversation before about the healing, she said she would love to see it in action sometime. Endetmon blushed, embarrassed to have forgotten she had already told Shiloh.
