It was getting dark and so everyone agreed that it was a good time to stop and set up camp for the night. With everyone working together, camp got set up pretty quickly. The fire, food, and liquor was ready in no time.

The maid politely declined the alcohol. Dresden looked at her funny, because she had never declined before. Endermon gave him a sharp look, and he just shrugged his shoulders. Shooting Endermon a grateful smile, the maid sat back and enjoyed the food.

Once dinner was done they cleaned up and decided where they were sleeping. They formed an odd circle around the fire and soon enough they were all asleep. It was a warm night so it was mainly just light blankets being used.

In the morning, Endermon stirred the embers and started making coffee. It would be bread and jam, as they didn't have a whole lot for food other than non-perishables. The smell of coffee woke everyone else up and soon they were munching on breakfast.

With no plan other than riding, they could take their time if they wished. But they all wanted to get there, so they didn't go as slowly as they could. But then again, neither were they running full stop.

With that in mind, they made very good time. When Rutus said she saw the campsite, everyone stopped to rest and reminisce. Even though there was no obvious signs of camping the plant life remembered and told Endermon, welcome back.

They stepped through the break in the trees and set their stuff down. Endermon, Rutus, and Dresden went to their 'rooms' and the maid and Shiloh followed their partners. Endermon lay down on what used to be her bed, and Shiloh came and lie down next to her.

She asked Endermon if she remembered when they had to hide their affections from the others. Endermon snickered and said she was pretty sure they did a terrible job of hiding it. Shiloh smirked and said the others must have been great actors then.

Shiloh listened for a bit then had a mischievous glint in her eyes. She asked if Endermon would like to have a bit of fun while everyone else was distracted. Endermon gave her a kiss, and said not now. Acting disappointed, Shiloh pushed herself up into a sitting position. They snickered and then got up to find everyone.

They were standing by the horses, chatting about nothing in particular. Brazen as ever, Shiloh said she just wanted some alone time with Endermon. She got a playful swat on the arm for that one.

Laughing, they saddled up and carried on. They rode on til mid afternoon when someone got hungry. Wanting to show off, Dresden said he was going to hunt. Everyone but the maid said okay, and went about getting stuff set up.

Sure enough, in a little bit, Dresden is back with some animals to grill. They set to work cleaning and preparing the animals to eat. And once it was ready, they tucked in. It was a good meal and it passed with good conversation.

They finished, cleaned up and rode on. They kept up this cycle for a couple days. Ride, eat, sleep, repeat. Even the maid was starting to get used to constantly being outside. She would even make suggestions about their meals and such.

They kept forgetting that the maid hadn't been with them for longer as she would get confused when an inside joke was brought up. But she took it in stride. At one point Endermon pulled the maid aside and making vague hand gestures towards her midsection, asked how it was going.

The maid said she was pretty sure he hadn't noticed, but on the chance that he had, she was still playing it safe. Endermon thought that was a good idea, until it was way too obvious to cover up.

But since they were close to his village and it would be a day or two til they got there, that was a the asking Endermon would do.

Later that nightas they went to bed there was a buzz of anticipation for the next couple days. They were about to see Dresden's village, so they had a bit of a hard time going to sleep.
