Taking her by the hand, Endermon led Shiloh to the back yard where a picnic was set up under the stars. There was food for Endermon and Shiloh's flask. There was also a bottle of wine.
Not taking any chances, Endermon had nabbed a blanket. They snuggled up under the blanket and watched the sky as they had their food. As they discussed constellations and the phases of the moon, they had drifted closer together.
Soon, whatever food was left, was forgotten as hands began to wander. Things were getting serious as they heard their names. Shiloh swore, then with one last kiss, gracefully got up to see what whomever needed.
When Endermon joined her she was annoyed to find they were just wondering where they were and did not want anything specific. After cleaning up the impromptu picnic, Endermon sulked in her room. She thought about asking if Shiloh would like to run away together, but thought better of it.
Shiloh returned to their room and locked the door. After a brief conversation, they continued from where they left off. And this time, no one interrupted them. Afterwards they went to sleep and stayed that way until morning.
There wasn't much going on except breakfast, so there wasn't any rush to get there. Well except for the fact that the cook could get a little testy if all were not present for meals. So they got dressed and sleepily shuffled into the dining room.
There they were greeted with cups of coffee, each to their liking. Some porridge and a variety of fruit. As everyone sat down to eat, they were glad there was no urgency. They could eat as fast or as slow as they pleased.
After breakfast, the cook mentioned they were out of some kitchen staples. Endermon volunteered to go. It would be nice to just be out and about. As the stablehand got her horse ready, Endermon asked if there was anything anyone else needed.
Rutus asked if she could get some leather for her metalwork accents. The butler needed some grooming accessories. The stablehand and the servant didn't need anything, and the driver wanted a chess board. Apparently he and the butler had a carved one, but the pieces kept getting lost.

With everyone's wants and needs addressed, Endermon saddled up and started off. A couple of seconds later, she heard hoof beats coming up behind her. She asked what Shiloh needed in town, and Shiloh laughed in response.
As they rode alongside each other they talked about nothing in particular. They decided to split the town tasks. It would go faster with the two of them. Soon enough, they arrived in town and set about getting everything from the wish lists.
It didn't take long to get everything, and whatever they couldn't carry, got delivered. They met up where they tied up the horses and set off for home. It was a quiet late afternoon ride and it passed quickly. When they got back, it was nearly dinnertime.
They helped put the stuff away and then got washed up for dinner. They didn't plan it, but Endermon ended up between Rutus and Shiloh. She was trying not to, but on a couple occasions, her hands touched both Shiloh and Rutus at the same time.
Each time, the jolt happened and they really had to try not to let it show. Fortunately, no one else at the table noticed until one time she accidentally dropped her fork. Rutus told Shiloh to keep her pervy mind to herself.
Then when Endermon got up to get a different fork, everyone was staring at them. With different levels of embarrassment on their faces, they gave the shortened version of this new development. Everyone thought it was interesting and then went back to eating.
Afterwards they went to do their own things. Despite the news at dinner, it was a calm evening. Rutus and the servant were outside working on metal. The cook was cleaning up the kitchen, and the butler was out in the stables.
Shiloh and Endermon were in the study reading. Well Endermon was trying to read, Shiloh was still in a mood so she was pestering Endermon. Finally Endermon said if she wanted something she should just ask. Shiloh stuck her tongue out and said Endermon was no fun.
