Feeling frustrated, Endermon angrily began cleaning up from dinner. Shiloh silently helped, wishing she knew what Endermon was thinking, when Endermon's voice said that they went all that way for a creepy room where something had been removed, a glowing pool of water that enhanced abilities, and no one would believe her because it was all gone.
Shiloh asked her to repeat all that, and Endermon jumped. She was certain she had only thought that. She said as much, and they stared at each other for a moment. Vthen without warning Shiloh grabbed her in a hug and spun her around. But it only lasted a moment because when she tried hearing Endermon again, it was back to silence.
But Endermon wasn't deterred she said that meant there were things they could try later on. For now she needed sleep, even if Shiloh did not. Putting the stuff away and stoking the fire, Endermon lie down and oatted the space next to her.
Shiloh looked at the two figures already sleeping and lie down with Endermon. As Endermon drifted off to sleep, Shiloh thought about the events of the day. She smiled at the thought of maybe being able to hear Endermon's thoughts. That would happen, she was sure of it. And as dawn broke Shiloh made her way to her carriage to sleep for the day.
Waking up, Endermon got breakfast set up. More meat for Dresden, and a more balanced breakfast for her and Rutus. It didn't take much time, so while she was waiting for them to wake up, she went through her meditation and weapons routine. Knowing she'd be sore afterwards, she tried to keep it light, but not having done it in a few days had her going until they were up and digging into the food.
Wiping the sweat off her face with the bottom of her shirt, Endermon put her blade away and joined the other two for breakfast. Only having to scold Dresden a couple of times for ill manners. He seemed scruffier than usual too, but Endermon kept that to herself.
With no immediate plan for the treasure, they decided to make the abandoned hut their base for the time being. Most places could be gotten to in between half and a day, and they could use some stability. So Endermon found some parchment and began writing down what they would need to make it into a comfortable place to stay.

Endermon got the others opinions and soon they had a plan. With breakfast done and cleaned up, they gathered their stuff for a trip into town. They needed supplies and experts to help put their plan into motion. Lumber was the key thing and that would take some doing to get what they needed. Bedrooms with doors was foremost on everyone's minds.
Still not great with directions, Endermon had to ask the animals a couple times to point them in the right direction. After a while everyone needed to stretch their legs and the horses were tired. They were on a main road so it would be a short stop. Endermon gave the horses some produce, and got them some water from their supplies, which made Dresden grumble.
Endermon told him to deal with it, or he'd be the one carrying them and the supplies. He quieted down after that. They all had some water and then got back on their horses. It was late afternoon when they got into town.
There was a shift in the energy as they rode through the streets. It seemed like half the people they encountered saw them as some sort of heroes, while others gave them serious side-eye, like they couldn't be trusted. So finding a place to keep their horses was an adventure. After finally finding a place that would hold their horses with no funny business, their first stop was a place with clothing available. Because after a week or so on the move, they needed new stuff.
After making their purchases, they found a place with semi-private baths. Which they also desperately needed. After becoming people again, they went their separate ways to acquire all the stuff they'd need on this trip into town. Endermon talked to some carpenters and got an estimate for three new rooms, Rutus talked to the smiths about weapons, and god only knows where Dresden disappeared to, probably to have a tryst and do no work whatsoever.
