Chapter 77: The Visitor from Hell

Chapter 77: The Visitor from Hell

Adrian was a high-ranking familiar demon, born of a fearsome demon king's lineage on one side and, embarrassingly, from a lowly scythe demon on the other. This mixed heritage was a source of shame for him.

Scythe demons were often referred to as "Reapers," serving the true Reapers—the Death Angels—who themselves served the once-living entity known as the "Flame of God," Uriel, also called the Saint Elouan, the first to judge sin in Hell.

Uriel, who fought and died in battle against Lucifer, had his soul captured and encased in a new, tainted shell of corrupted blood by Lucifer. This divine shell, loyal to Lucifer, oversaw the cyclical gates of Hell.

Throughout recorded human history, Hell had three rulers. The first were the offspring of Saturn giants—three one-eyed giants with divine light and three towering, hundred-armed giants—ruling Hell for ages.

The second rulers were the Primordial Giants, who, wielding immense power, rebelled against their chaotic-born Saturn giant fathers with spears in hand.

They overthrew their predecessors, and with Zeus becoming King of the Gods, his brother Hades inherited the underworld, ruling all of Hell.

"My Lord, who came from the Holy Light, redeems the world!"

After millennia under Primordial Giants, another powerful deity descended—God Himself.

God, through the power of The Sacred Light’s Source, created the named and famed archangels and personally bestowed divinity upon them at Heaven's Gate. These archangels, names well-known like Lucifer, Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, aided God in defeating the Primordial Giants. The once invincible giants were either killed or sealed, and the world was bathed in holy light.

God declared, "Behind light lies darkness."

After the ancient archangels vanquished the Primordial Giants, a shocking event occurred, forever chronicled in the Bible: the first angel born, God's beloved, the premier archangel Lucifer, refused to kneel before God and chose to fall.

Lucifer became Hell's third ruler, plunging my Lord into a deep slumber.

...

The Reaper's duty is to reclaim souls, while the scythe demon's goal is to steal them. These weak and despicable demons often masquerade as Reapers to deceive and devour unsuspecting souls. Even demons find this act disdainful!

Adrian, a fully grown familiar demon, had lived for over 1700 years, owning a peaceful territory in a corner of Hell, a veritable paradise amidst the inferno. To higher demons, a land unchallenged by kin was already a peaceful haven.

Stolen story; please report.

Adrian, an ambitious high-ranking demon, harbored a great desire—to conquer an adult succubus and make her his servant.

Succubi, favored by Satan, naturally possessed impressive powers upon reaching adulthood, a source of envy among all demons.

An adult succubus's strength could rival that of a pureblood high-ranking demon, making them an insurmountable challenge for a half-blood familiar like Adrian.

Adrian once dared to challenge a newly matured, yet unstable succubus, but the outcome was tragically, overwhelmingly disastrous.

Adrian lasted less than a quarter of an hour against the female succubus before being completely overpowered, unable to fight back. For the next three hours, he was relentlessly whipped by her skillfully wielded whip, leaving him in a state of excruciating agony.

Even with a high-ranking demon's strong healing abilities, Adrian was bedridden for a whole month!

Severely traumatized, Adrian resolved to change his ways and focus on training, with the aim of exacting revenge in a thousand years. Once recovered, he retreated deep into the lava to meditate, aspiring to absorb the fire at the earth's core and become a true demon king.

After a period of seclusion and gaining strength, Adrian, pleased with his progress, took a rare flight to survey his territory. When about to return to his palace, he suddenly spotted a woman—a strikingly beautiful female vampire.

Such dark, immortal beings were rare in Hell, and one as exquisite as this vampire was even rarer. The sight of her, surpassing even the succubi in beauty, stirred Adrian's soul.

What's the law of Hell? Orderly evil. Simply put, it's about showing who's strongest; the one with the mightiest fist rules.

So, if Adrian could defeat this stunning vampire, she would become his slave according to Hell's laws, with everything, including her life, belonging to him.

Adrian, accustomed to solving problems with his fists, engaged in battle, only to face a complete tragedy. This seemingly frail being, half his height, was terrifyingly powerful—a "freak" in terms Adrian heard from the main material plane.

If she were just strong, Adrian would have knelt and begged for mercy. But this alluring vampire shockingly wielded holy light magic, an absurdity akin to cheating!

If not for Adrian's desperate use of the interdimensional space gate, his soul would probably have returned to the "Dark Origin" by now.

Tragedy often seems predestined. This encounter with the vicious vampire was just the beginning for poor Adrian.

The interdimensional space gate's transport was random, and to his despair, Adrian found himself teleported to the territory of an old foe—a fallen angel.

After being hunted by this fallen angel for three days and nights, Adrian, furious, decided to fight back. But then, the 'birdman' shrank back, hanging lifelessly behind Adrian, waiting to strike when he was vulnerable.

With no other choice, Adrian used the interdimensional space gate again, leading to a complete disaster.

He awoke to find himself not in Hell but in the main material plane, utterly weakened by the elemental backlash of the spatial barrier, leaving him vulnerable even to a lowly unicorn creature.

As if to comfort Adrian, he discovered a death knight about five kilometers away, skinny and less robust than his leg, with mediocre ice powers—at least Adrian thought he could easily kill him with his physical strength.

Death knights were rare, and offering one to the great "Demon King Kronosdra" could earn Adrian temporary protection, especially considering their blood ties.

Adrian, cunning as a demon, didn't let confidence cloud his judgment. He chose a densely wooded area to hide, coiling his massive body, waiting quietly for the death knight to appear.

Then, he planned to swoop down like an eagle, snapping the limbs of the weak creature in an instant.
