The pale green flames spread like a blanket across the sky, hissing upon contact with the body of the giant bear druid. Shockingly, these flames didn’t burn but corroded whatever they touched!
“Wind of Revival.” Faced with the onslaught of pale green flames, the giant bear druid had no escape.
The assassin was already severely injured, a gash from a bone blade impeding his usual agility. Gritting his teeth, the bear druid turned his back to shield the lean body of the assassin, ready to withstand the attack.
“Barrier: Earth’s Guard!”
A golden-yellow shield materialized behind the bear druid. Upon clashing with the pale green flames, intense elemental turbulence erupted, creating a chaotic flow of energy. In an instant, the entire backyard was engulfed in a whirlwind of flying sand and stones!
Human bodies are so fragile, even less resistant to magic than average orcs.
These highly corrosive flames were especially lethal to ordinary humans like the assassin, whose strength couldn’t compensate for his bodily weakness. In the realm of elemental powers, the battle is about magical strength and depth, not mere physical force.
“Poisonous.” The bear druid’s face changed as the pale green flames penetrated the barrier, causing his massive form to shudder.
Hesitating no longer, the bear druid grabbed the wounded assassin beneath him. Ignoring his injuries, he hoisted the assassin by the collar and hurled him out of the battle zone!
With no more concerns, the bear druid let out a thunderous roar and charged towards the approaching defiler.
“Berserk Fury!”
Visibly, a blood-red glow appeared in the bear druid’s eyes, spreading rapidly across his body. As a great druid certified in two elemental domains, he wouldn’t be powerless unless facing a deity.
The Berserk Fury awakened the Bear Spirit hidden deep within the bear druid’s soul. In an instant, his already massive body swelled even more. He transformed from a large brown bear into a giant bear over three meters tall and five meters long!
His thick bear paws hit the ground, leaving huge imprints. After going berserk, the bear druid let out a low growl and transformed into a blur of shadow, pouncing on the defiler soaring towards him.
“Bang!”

Taking a fierce hit from the defiler, the berserk bear druid swung his huge paw, creating a sound like ripping through the air, and sent the ferocious defiler flying like a ball.
An equal match!
The bear druid’s chest bore a significant wound, with drops of blood trickling down his fur. The defiler was also not lightly injured. The round body, post-transformation, bore a massive paw print, undoubtedly breaking several bones inside!
This was the true form of the giant bear! Known as invulnerable, able to clash head-on with golden sub-dragon species!
The berserk bear druid’s power made the demonized defiler wary. Flapping its thin membranous wings, it flew about fifteen meters above the ground – out of the bear druid’s reach.
No matter how hard he tried, the bear druid’s massive body couldn’t touch the defiler. The blood-red glow began to fade, and a hint of anxiety appeared in the bear druid’s eyes.
The Berserk Fury granted immense strength to the druid in bear form but was short-lived and came at a cost. After its effects wore off, the druid’s over-exerted body would inevitably enter a period of weakness.
The defiler, seeing the bear druid’s eyes, displayed a mocking and triumphant look. Opening its grotesque mouth for a deep breath, it once again spewed pale green flames at the bear druid!
However, at that moment, Felix, holding his ice-crafted sword, targeted the defiler suspended mid-air.
“Freeze!” Felix said coldly, emotionless.
The power of frost in his blood not only chilled his body but also his emotions. The frosty force stored away any extraneous thoughts in his heart until the battle ended.
In battle, a death knight is a humanoid killing machine!
The defiler's smug smile froze instantly as a layer of ice formed on its bony wings. As it spat out pale green flames, the crystalline power of frost had already completely encased its membranous wings in ice.
"Crack! Crack,"
The defiler, stuck mid-air flapping its wings, had its expression solidify as the membranes shattered like glass, turning into a shower of white ice fragments. All that remained of its wings were bare skeletal frames.
"Ao um,"
The defiler's round body, like a kite with its string cut, wobbled and fell. The bear druid, having endured the fiery assault, roared and pounced on the falling creature.
"Splat! Bang!"
It was a sound reminiscent of a massive force crushing a watermelon. The bear druid, with his colossal form, leapt several meters into the air and then, swinging his massive paw, slammed the off-balance defiler towards the ground like swatting a ball.
Under the immense force of the bear druid, the defiler's grotesque head was instantly smashed into a pulp. Its round, bloated body was smashed into the ground, leaving only a two-meter-wide crater with a pair of broken wings protruding.
The battle seemed to be over.
The bear druid, breathing heavily, gradually shrank back to his original size, appearing extremely exhausted and visibly drained.
Felix coldly glanced at the lifeless defiler. The shortsword, formed by the power of frost, dissolved into sparkling lights and slowly merged into his body.
"Ah!!!"
The piercing scream of a little girl broke the silence - it was Nayara's voice.
As Nayara stepped out of the room and opened her eyes, she saw the courtyard filled with corpses and blood. She was just a child, not yet twelve, and was terrified.
Just then, the lifeless defiler in the pit suddenly exploded, its mangled body turning into a rain of flesh and blood. Following that, a creature made of dark red flesh with a blood-red eye emerged from the defiler's corpse and flew out!
It moved rapidly, its spherical body lunging towards the petrified and motionless Nayara!
