"Why are those undead afraid of me?"
Felix sat silently on a huge rock, with only a heavy sword by his side, a runic sword pulled from an altar, imbued with the power of death, a force stolen from the hands of the Underworld God!
He and a group of middle-aged nuns walked continuously for three days across the Vulture Plains, without rest or fatigue. It was only when they stepped out of the land shrouded in a grey, foggy mist that they felt hunger and exhaustion for the first time.
Felix eventually decided to go alone, as the middle-aged nun made a decision akin to suicide. She decided to return to the Holy Mother's House in search of—redemption!
Redemption? Or purification?
Felix didn't want to die, at least not now. As a Gamma practitioner, as long as the soul exists, the body is just a tool, a support point for power. No matter what that death knight did to his body, it wouldn’t be difficult for him to find another body with excellent compatibility and escape the death knight's grasp!
The power of ice suppressed Felix's power of holy light in his heart, making it utterly immovable. Just like when he was trapped in Mrs. Ireland's conspiracy and underwent a complete Elemental Transformation of holy light energy, Felix couldn't use any negative energy.
Now, having passively undergone the death knight's "Corruption Transformation," his body was eroded by dark and frost elements. The icy power in his blood repelled any positive energy!
He regained the ability to use negative energy, but now, not even a trace of holy light would respond to his call.
Magic elements can be simply divided into three domains: natural elements, positive elements, and negative elements. Natural elements are the fundamental nature of magic, neutral elements, and whether it's a path of light or darkness, a caster with certain mental strength has good affinity with natural elements.
Elemental magic is neutral magic, requiring only magical power, a fulcrum, and a lever. Other elements, leaning towards darkness or light, demand high specificity in the caster's internal elemental orientation.
Felix placed his pale right hand over his heart. His heartbeat was slow; in the Burial Ground of Bones, it was about ten beats per minute, but after leaving, it increased to about twenty-five beats per minute.
The icy power left in his body by the death knight had a high compatibility with the shadow elements he had cultivated through Gamma Magic! These two forces merged perfectly within his body without any repulsion!
After some exploration of his abilities, Felix discovered he had three main directions now.
The first was the icy power left in his body by the death knight. This power was incredibly strong but also wildly violent. Once the frozen blood boiled, this icy power would surge unstoppably like hellfire!
A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
Based on Felix's calculations, if this icy power was fully unleashed, it would have a strength comparable to the later stages of the Silver Domain!
The second one is the shadow element condensed through the practice of Gamma Magic, a strongly erosive negative energy. This power is highly pure and lethal, but its drawback is clear: shadow elements are scarce in the main material plane, making it challenging to summon and merge this energy! Perhaps choosing a sacrifice and seeking help from the Shadow Queen Christie might yield some results.
The third is a power that is awakening and still very unstable, which Felix can't fully control yet! He refers to this power as the "Blood Force," which seems less like magic and more like a unique innate ability!
This Blood Force was an unexpected discovery. During a bear hunt, Felix suddenly found that he could control the blood within the bear. He could freeze the blood, make it surge, and even force it into the heart, causing it to burst completely!
It's a terrifying and powerful force, but it's still very unstable. Felix can only use it when his emotions are extremely fluctuating; otherwise, he doesn't know where to find this power.
Felix now feels that he has been transformed into a death knight by Reinhardt, as there are few beings capable of wielding the power of ice: Liches, Frost Dragons, death knights...
"The forces of light and darkness both reside in my body, could Saint Elouan be the most suitable place for me?..." Felix pondered, gently touching his heart, where the suppressed holy light energy lay. This energy, like a highly condensed ball of light, hovered in his heart, pulsating slowly and rhythmically.
He didn't know how to neutralize this force, as once the icy power disappeared, the collision of holy light energy and shadow elements might turn him into a human-shaped atomic bomb, erupting in a mushroom cloud!
Opposing elemental energies colliding could result in a high elemental activity reaction, often leading to a massive explosion!
Putting the runic sword back at his waist, Felix took out a large piece of bear meat from his space ring, cut a piece with a dagger, and began chewing.
Being a death knight felt strange. In the Burial Ground of Bones, Felix could travel for three days without food or drink and not feel a bit of fatigue. But once he left the Burial Ground of Bones, away from the land shrouded in the power of death, he felt incredibly weak. When he first stepped out of the mist, he felt like he could eat an entire cow!
Felix suspected that a peculiar force inside the Burial Ground of Bones was replenishing the stamina of dark creatures, a force definitely related to the ley energy that resurrects the dead. Sadly, unless one is a deity, it's hard for others to truly understand and control this power.
Felix's appetite had been enormous these past two days; he had devoured half a bear, over 150 pounds of meat! This meat was quickly digested, and he didn't even need to excrete. It seemed his stomach was always secreting gastric acid, consuming food, stimulating his hunger.
Meanwhile, Felix's body underwent significant changes. His metabolism, almost freakishly high, made him grow five centimeters in just two days, reaching a height of around 1.6 meters. For a 14-year-old, this was quite a development among the nobility.
His physique, previously somewhat thin, now had noticeable muscles bulging on his chest and abdomen. Though his inherent slender look hadn't vanished, he no longer appeared frail.
The most significant change was in his hands and legs, which had grown a whole size bigger, muscles as solid as rocks. After channeling the power of ice, Felix stabbed his leg with a dagger, leaving only a faint scratch. This terrifying physical defense shocked him!
Though his hunger had lessened, it hadn't completely disappeared. Felix didn't know how long this state would last. What he wanted most now was to find a town and sleep in an inn, deep and undisturbed.
He had never craved sleep so much...
