The people exchanged confused looks. His answer was strange. If Woods did leave, it was odd that no

one saw him. He wasn't a spirit manipulator so he couldn't have just left in secret.

"Then what was Miss Juey of the Xiao Clan doing in your room? Miss Juey was the one standing

beside Mr. Rookie. I heard that it was Miss Mary who went with you to your room last night," Lucilla

continued to ask.

Woods turned to look at Juey. It was the first time that he had met Juey. He was clever, so he had

chance. I didn't mean anything!" Raef cried in defense. He knew that if his sins were not forgiven, he

and the entire Xiao Clan were doomed.

"Father, stop it. Own up to our mistakes. This is all our fault," Mary, who had been silently kneeling,

finally burst. She looked at Raef and, with a serious look on her face, spoke up. "Your Royal Highness,

commotion, suddenly chimed in.

It was all part of Rocky's plan. He needed to make Juey the chief of the Xiao Clan so that Juey could

carry out his plan. He was almost there. But first, he needed Juey to be chief.

"No. She's not the heir." Raef shook his head. He knew that if the Xiao Clan would fall under Juey's

command, it would be doomed soon.

But Mary supported Rocky. "Your Royal Highness, Juey is indeed the heir."
