CHAPTER 646 THE MAGICAL DRAGON
Across the vast Wild Spirit Land, only a few warriors were determined to become masters of the
Supernal Stage. Every once in a while, some of them would be seen around public places. However,
the majority of them opted to live in seclusion. For this reason, seeing two masters of the Supernal owns this text.
Stage was highly extraordinary.
Lance was incredibly surprised to find these two elusive warriors staying at Alyssa's side. As he stood
up, he looked at her with obvious annoyance. "What are you planning here, Princess Alyssa?" he
asked.
"Since you are able to summon the master of the Supernal Stage, I thought I'd invite two over here to
have some fun. Is that bad?" Alyssa said as she let out a humorless laugh. She seemed calm and
carefree. There were only a number of people in the Wild Spirit Land who could persuade a master of
the Supernal Stage to just fool around. The princess was one of those.
"Commander in Chief, I implore you to stay calm. Our forces have already been ordered to secure
different areas. There is no need to worry. We will not suffer any loss even the they attempt to do
anything unpleasant…" Rocky whispered as he stood behind Lance.
After hearing that piece of information, Lance appeared irritated but merely grunted and sat down once
more. Yet, he was still worried. The succeeding two battles would be rather suspenseful since the two
masters of the Supernal Stage of the Timber Deity Empire had appeared unexpectedly.
Lance's original plan was to allow Allen to take over and win the fourth round, and then he would attend
the fifth round. Consequently, the Timber Deity Empire would send Alyssa to contend against him.
Therefore, he could take advantage of his strength to curb Alyssa's insolence. However, Alyssa had
already planned on not making an appearance.
"I believe the two of you are Mr. White and Mr. Rufus?" The moment Allen saw the two masters of the
Supernal Stage, he recognized who they were. This was due to the fact that both of them were
undeniably well-known in the Timber Deity Empire. These two masters often made appearances to the
general public. Thus, almost everyone knew who they were.
"Well, this is surprising! Never did I imagine I would meet Mr. Allen of the Holy Dragon Empire here,"
Rufus said arrogantly as he saw Allen. Allen was a renowned person in the Holy Dragon Empire. He
was a formidable martial artist and had an utterly powerful background. The Ji Clan where he came
from was famous for being a spirit manipulator clan. They were distinguished not only in the Holy
Dragon Empire but in the Wild Spirit Land.
"I am honored!" Allen said as he bowed. He was quite modest for a person with his stature. All the
same, he could not help but survey White and Rufus with caution. According to his knowledge, White
was in the second grade of the Supernal Stage. So for Allen, he did not seem to pose any threat. On
the other hand, Rufus was a recognized master in the fourth grade of the Supernal Stage. It was known
that his spirit-manipulated beast was a Timber spiritual beast unique to the Timber Deity Empire. This
kind of spiritual beast was a truly impressive one.
"I will handle this myself, Mr. White," Rufus told White without any hint of hesitation.
"As you wish, Mr. Rufus," replied White. "Right this way!" White had already realized that he was no
match for Allen. With that, he humbly agreed to recuse himself.
"I have been told that you possess a rather extraordinary Water spiritual dragon? They say that it is
able to topple bodies of water and overturn skies. Will you be showing it to me today? It will be such an
honor!" Rufus's eyes blazed with wild anticipation.
"I believe your Timber spiritual beast is also one of a kind," Allen returned courteously.
"We have already said enough." The moment Rufus stopped talking, a dazzling light coming from a rift
suddenly appeared over his head. Out of it came a grey shadow beast. It dashed like a sudden gust of
wind invisible to the eyes of everyone watching. In an instant, Allen was enveloped by an enormous
shadow.
The beast was smaller than an ordinary dragon. Nevertheless, it looked monstrous and fierce as it
hovered in the air. It appeared peculiar as it had three hawk heads and a mouth filled with teeth as
sharp as blades. The body resembled a dragon's while its wings and claws were of an eagle. There
were also a few tentacles similar to a coiled truck of an old tree that trembled ominously in the air. It
seemed as mighty and tough as the tentacles of a giant octopus. Allen felt the presence of the shadow
beast fencing him in like an incredible force of wind. He thought that this was unlike any four-star spirit-
manipulated beast he had encountered in the past. This was truly an unrivalled and powerful beast.
"The Fierce Wind Eagle is simply marvelous! It certainly lives up to the expectation we have of a spirit-
manipulated beast belonging to a master of the Supernal Stage!" Rocky exclaimed as he tried to gather
as much information about it as he could while it was still in front of him. After all, it was an
exceptionally unique Wind spiritual beast, which was also called Timber spiritual beast in the Timber
Deity Empire. Only a Timber spirit manipulator belonging to this empire would be able to control it. It
was widely known that this spiritual beast had high talent. In fact, it was categorized as one of the top
20 of the Spiritual Beast List.
Everyone present was awestruck at the sight of Fierce Wind Eagle, such a unique spiritual beast.
Rufus reveled in the commotion his beast created. He was pretty much enjoying every bit of attention it
had gotten for he was absolutely confident of his spirit-manipulated beast. Regardless of the kind and
rarity of Allen's Water spiritual dragon, he still believed that his beast was unparalleled.
Nonetheless, Allen did not take much time to retaliate. Slowly, he opened the Magic Spiritual Space. As
soon as the rift appeared, the Fierce Wind Eagle dashed swiftly toward him. A strong gust of wind
pierced through the air as though it was an arrow being shot.
This Fierce Wind Eagle was a Wind spiritual beast. Its abilities included being able to utilize the power
with Wind nature and control it freely. At the very least, the power of its attack was equal to that of the
spiritual martial arts of a Heavenly Stage master. It could easily achieve the power of the Supernal
Stage in the event that Rufus decided to commence a full-scale attack.
In spite of the threat before him, Allen seemed unbelievably calm. His expression remained impassive.
Even as the wind vulture was rushing toward him, he did not move an inch. Then all of a sudden, huge
amounts of crystal-like liquid gushed from the rift, which immediately assembled in front of him.
As the crystal-like liquid melded together, it took the shape of a luminous shimmering mirror in front of
Allen. The Fierce Wind Eagle shot a strong gust of wind at the mirror. However, nothing happened. It
appeared as though the wind was merely a soft breeze and was as weak as cotton.
At the sight of this, Rufus was stunned. He also felt overwhelmed.
"All of the wind force unleashed by the Fierce Wind Eagle just disappeared. It is as if the mirror is able
to absorb the attacks. Unbelievable. Is it likely that Allen's spirit-manipulated beast is..." Alyssa was
utterly perplexed by what just happened.
The people watching still stood transfixed. Meanwhile, a small spiritual dragon arose from the open
magical rift beside Allen. It was about two meters high. Hence, it was a lot smaller than the average
dragons. The entirety of its body was covered in shining scales very much like a water dragon. It had a
lengthy neck with an oval head. There was an absence of feet, therefore, it moved by wriggling and
flipping its mermaid-like tail. Pools of water appeared wherever its tail touched.
