and hurried into the inner room. After a while, she emerged dressed in a long lilac dress. She looked

like a blooming violet, fragrant and appealing.

"You've got the nerve to believe that I would not kill you just because of the small favor you did me. Are

you thinking that? But what did you give me? It was so powerful that it cured..." Isis' voice trailed off.

She didn't know how to approach the situation.

"I am Sue's brother. I heard that General Marin arranged for her to come live here, so I came to visit

her. I didn't know that you're cousins, however. It was truly an accident," Rocky explained.

"You're telling me you're Sue's brother? She's never mentioned that she has a brother," Isis said with

some suspicion. But with Marin's token, she chose to believe it to some degree.

"It's a long story. But I want to make it clear to you that I really do not mean to...." Rocky was

interrupted by a sound. "Mr. Bai, why are you here?"

Rocky turned around. It was Sue. A bitter smile appeared on his face.

"Miss Isis?" Sue stepped forward, bowed down and then explained, "Miss Isis, please forgive me for

letting Mr. Bai into your place. I did not expect him to enter the second floor."

"Mr. Bai? Sue, your family name is Chen, right? He's claiming to be your brother!" Isis questioned with

an eyebrow raised.

"Mr. Bai once saved my life, Miss Isis. If not for him, I would have been raped by those bad guys back

home," Sue answered at once. There was a hint of sadness in her eyes.

Isis glanced at Rocky. She heard of him from Marin before.

"Wait. Aren't you Rocky Bai? That's you?" At this moment, a surprising thought just jumped out in Isis's

head. Then she turned to stare at Rocky.

"How do you know my name?" Rocky was confused by the fact that Isis spoke his name.

"Mr. Bai, as the Deputy Commander in Chief of the Crimson Dragon Group, she surely knows that."

Sue did not know what happened between them, so she just said that out directly.

"Deputy Commander in Chief?" Rocky's face suddenly changed. He did not know that Isis held such a
