CHAPTER 772 THE MYRIAD SPIRIT TOMB

Juey was held at knifepoint by Queenie. With the tip of the dagger pointed at her face, a bit of

"Queenie, you are going too far. If the chief finds out, I won't be able to protect you," Lucas said in a

reproachful tone. They didn't mean to come to the Magical Beast House; they were just on tour and

parchment on which there was a painting that seemed like a treasure map. The patterns on the

painting vaguely represented a terrain. A line ran through one end of the map to the northern, top part

of it. On top there was a cross with three words faintly written. Rocky could barely make out the words,

but he was certain they read "Myriad Spirit Tomb."

'This girl referred to the Myriad Spirit Tomb. Is it the same one on the map? Does it mean that the

treasure map is actually leading to the Black Sand Abyss?' Rocky thought to himself. He was greatly

surprised. He found the treasure map along with the Dragon Flame Pearl and the secret manual on

spiritual martial arts. He didn't pay the map much attention until now, because he thought it led to

nowhere. He wasn't sure where the map pointed to or what it was for. It was only when he heard what

the girl said that he figured out that the map was actually leading towards the Black Sand Abyss.

While Rocky was thinking about the map and where it led to, Queenie pulled out a tendon from her

bag. The tendon was slender and resilient, but looked firm and tenacious like a whip. She then

revealed the tendon to the people of the Xiao Clan and then said with a devilish smile, "This is a

tendon. If anyone one of you can tell me which spirit-manipulated beast this came from, I will let her go.

But if you can't, then it's your fault for what's going to happen to her." She then pretended to cut Juey's

face with her dagger.

All the members of the Xiao Clan stood there, looking at each other hoping that one might have the

answer.

Though Juey often went out to hunt beasts, it was her first time seeing this kind of tendon. She tried to

think about it first, but after no answer popped in her head, she looked to see if any of the other

members had the answer. To her dismay, she was greeted by the grim expression on each of their

faces. She knew she was in trouble. Juey couldn't help but look at her father with some resentment.

She felt like she was being abandoned. Raef never let Mary suffer this kind of humiliation. They were

both his daughters, and yet why didn't he do anything?

But no matter how much she hated her father, she knew that the fact couldn't be changed. She was like

an abandoned child. Deep down inside, she had already known this since she was a kid, and she just

didn't want to admit it. But now she was completely wakened up from her dream.

"Hmm…it seems none of you knows the right answer. This is getting really boring." Queenie shook her

head and turned to Raef. "Chief Raef, please don't blame me for what I'm about to do to your

daughter."

"If hurting her can please you, then do it," Raef said painstakingly. He took one look at Juey before

averting his eyes. He knew he had to abandon her for the sake of the clan.

"Father..." Mary couldn't believe her father said that. After all, Juey was her sister. When she was about

to open her mouth to protest, Raef shook his head. She hesitated for a moment but then gave up.

At the same time, all the other members of the Xiao Clan, including Travis, couldn't seem to look at her.

They didn't seem to care about Juey.

"Miss Queenie, just do it."
