CHAPTER 434 MANY SECRETS
"How many people are there?" Rocky squinted his eyes and tried to look at the distance.
"Three. They are about in between first or second grade of the Earthly Stage, and there are three two-
star second grade spirit-manipulated beasts with them," Sabina whispered concisely.
"We must get rid of all of them, including their spirit-manipulated beasts, without being noticed by their
camp's defending group," Rocky suggested. He knew that his strength alone was not enough to kill all
the spirit manipulators together with their spirit-manipulated beasts. So, he immediately looked at
Sabina and asked, "Commander Ji, can you kill all of them with just one blow?"
"Of course I can kill all of them in one breath, but they aren't some woods that would stay still and wait
for me to kill them without fighting back or creating noise," Sabina arrogantly answered and showed the
whites of her eyes to Rocky. She thought of a good plan to kill them with ease and whispered to Rocky,
"There would be no problem if I can strike them from behind, but somebody must draw their attention
first." After speaking, she fixed her cold glaring eyes on Rocky.
"What's the meaning of that look? Don't tell me you're suggesting that I'll be the one who will draw their
attention. What if they feel threatened after seeing me and then go rampage and kill me?" Rocky said,
emphasizing every word he had just said. Of course, he understood what Sabina was trying to say.
"If you don't want to do it, then who else would?" Sabina looked at him coldly.
"All right, but please protect me if something happens. It's too dangerous to be served as a helpless
bait in there!" Rocky said, seemingly serious.
"Stop pretending in front of me, Rocky. I know your strength has already reached the Heavenly Stage
and you're also a royal spirit manipulator," Sabina frankly said, nailing each of his secrets.
"How did you know that I'm a royal spirit manipulator?" Rocky was surprised to hear what Sabina had
just said. It might not be difficult for her to figure out that he had already reached the Heavenly Stage,
but he was sure that it was not easy to figure out that he was a royal spirit manipulator. As far as he
could remember, he hadn't done anything suspicious or produced any sign that would reveal him as a
royal spirit manipulator when he was at the Wild Heaven Pass.
Rocky had no idea that Sabina had learned all of these facts about him from her master, Marcia.
"Stop talking nonsense. Just hurry up and distract them, now!" Sabina whipped her hands across.
Rocky felt the chilly spiritual power of Sabina in his back that pushed him forward. In just a split-
second, he was belched out in the woods with leaves clinging on his clothes.
The three spirit manipulators who were at the entrance of the marshland were alerted when they saw
the figure of Rocky suddenly appeared. Their spiritual power conquered and wrapped their whole
bodies and stood on aggressive posture, while their spirit-manipulated beasts started to make
threatening gestures.
"Three buddies, please go easy on me!" Rocky made a gesture of surrender and pleaded when he saw
the three spirit manipulators were ready to fight him.
"Who are you? How dare you barge into here?"
"You don't need to ask him. He must be a member of the Crimson Dragon Army and will try to spy on
our military secrets."
"Then what are we waiting for? Let us capture him right now and send him to Commander Wei. We will
be rewarded afterward!"
A simple discussion from the three spirit manipulators of the Earthly Stage decided Rocky's fate. They
looked at him like a rabbit ready to be gnawed by a wolf.
However, Rocky didn't give out a strong aura, so they started to think that he was just a nobody, and
none of them realized that they were being set in a trap.
"I'm sorry, three buddies, but you're wrong! I am here to deliver intelligence." Rocky acted earnestly, as
he shook his head.
"Intelligence?" The three of them looked at one other, confused.
"Exactly! I was sent to be a spy inside the Crimson Dragon Army, and I would never betray the Timber
Deity Empire," Rocky said in a serious tone as if he was telling the truth.
"Are you kidding us? How could a weak man like you be dispatched as a spy? We are not fools to
believe your lies! Come with us, and we'll take you to Commander Wei." They decided to capture
Rocky as they walked forward. The three spirit manipulators started to strengthen their power, and it
looked like they knew what was the right thing to do.
"If you don't want to believe me, just at least believe in my intelligence. It is all right for me to see
Commander Wei and tell him the intelligence directly, but wouldn't that be your loss? That must be a
good chance to do a deed of merit, am I right?" Rocky continued to trick them. He tried his very best to
compose himself despite having a negative outcome.
Because of his talent for lying, he succeeded in fooling the three spirit manipulators. They looked at
him and tried to read his face, but came up with nothing. They had no chance of knowing whether he
was telling the truth or not. However, they would never want to give up that chance to do a deed of
merit.
"All right. First, tell us what intelligence you have." One of the spirit manipulators pointed his finger at
Rocky as they tried to make him speak up immediately.
Rocky took two steps forward and looked around, acting as if he was looking for a suspected spy. He
crooked his finger to beckon the three spirit manipulators. They relaxed and moved towards Rocky
subconsciously.
They had been preoccupied with the chance of doing a deed of merit that they hadn't noticed a female
figure appeared behind them without creating any noise or movement.
"Freeze!" Sabina shouted all of a sudden. Her strong spiritual power sharply engulfed her whole body
like roaring waves, showing an obvious intention to kill.
The three spirit manipulators of the Earthly Stage were shocked and hadn't even realized that they fell
into a trap. It finally came to their mind that they were being tricked, but before they could even move,
Sabina's pretty hand already whipped slightly. Her spiritual power froze like snowflakes, which looked
quite beautiful but deadly. Her power was applied to the three spirit manipulators. In the blink of an eye,
their bodies were frozen like three ice sculptures. They were all sealed in ice and died before they
could even fight back or utter a word of help.
Even the three spirit-manipulated beasts were so scared that they immediately turned around and ran
to the camp, trying to escape.
Rocky was preparing for that moment. He shook his hand, and it made a crack in the air, summoning
two beasts that rushed out of the crack. They jumped on the three two-star second grade spirit-
manipulated beasts and attacked them.
After a few moments of fighting, the three spirit-manipulated beasts became black and injured all over Content held by .
their bodies. They fell on the cold, hard ground and died afterward.
"You have two spirit-manipulated beasts?" Sabina felt dumbfounded and startled when she saw two
spirit-manipulated beasts came out of Rocky's Magic Spiritual Space. She had seen Rocky with two
beasts when they were at the Wild Heaven Pass, but she hadn't known that Rocky was able to
manipulate them at the same time. Shock and awe were an understatement, indeed.
Rocky whistled, and the two beasts, Uriah and Rubygon, immediately ran back to the Magic Spiritual
Space.
"I'm glad there is something about me that you still don't know." Rocky took a glance at Sabina, and he
beamed with pure joy. Being surprised was already a rare expression that he could see on Sabina's
face, and it amused Rocky very much.
"That doesn't count!" Sabina said in a disdainful tone despite the shocked look on her face. But the fact
remained that it was still unknown why Rocky could manipulate two beasts at the same time. Normally,
a spirit manipulator could only be recognized by one spirit-manipulated beast as their master. She had
never seen nor heard any spirit manipulator who could manipulate two beasts, and even her master
wasn't capable of doing that.
"Let's go," Rocky said in a flat tone, and then he continued to walk forward to the camp of the Timber
Deity Empire.
