CHAPTER 470 ROCKY WAS TAKEN AWAY
Having seen how powerful the silver thread was last time, Rocky jumped up without any hesitation to
dodge it. He would have gotten killed if he was not fast enough.
The rumbling and clattering sound of the launching of the silver thread echoed in the quietness of the
surroundings.
As he stood on his feet again, Rocky quickly checked on the place he had just stood a moment ago. He
could see several silver threads inserted onto the ground. Those were tough as thorns and seemed to
possess astonishing power. If those silver threads would have struck on a person's body, then that
person would have succumbed to injury and long lost his life.
Concomitantly, trying to avoid any injuries from the silver threads, Rocky pushed forward and kept
approaching the Four-wing Lame Dragon. It was a breathtaking move, but he was quite relieved to find
that the closer he got to the beast, lesser was the strength wielded by the silver threads.
Sensing danger, the beast sprayed a viscous liquid from one of its mouths from among the three heads
it possessed. Soon, Rocky realized that he had underestimated the beast's tactics.
At first, afraid that it might be corrosive, Rocky moved sideways in order to dodge. Although he was
trying to avoid it from touching his body, some small quantity of it had fallen on the sole of his shoes. To
his dismay, he realized that the sole of his shoes were like being nailed to the ground and he was not
able to pull it out. On looking down to see what had happened, he found that both the shoes were
struck to the ground as if they were stuck with superglue.
Exactly at this moment, several threads of silver light were shot towards him, as if they knew he was
unable to make a move.
All of a sudden, his arms and legs were wrapped by the silver threads. Though Rocky tried to pull out
the Frozen Wind Dagger from his body for cutting the threads, it was too late. Several more silver
threads flew over and bound his arms and body tightly. He couldn't move an inch, as his body was
wrapped all over. Now, he was more like a mummy and all he could do was to roll his eyeballs.
Seeing their master trapped, Uriah and Rubygon ran quickly towards Rocky hoping to get him out of
the situation. However, the Four-wing Lame Dragon was well prepared. It spread its wings swiftly and
then flew into the air along with Rocky.
The two little beasts had to stop where they were. Standing on the ground, they showed their teeth to
the dragon. They didn't have the ability to fly and therefore couldn't even get in touch with the beast, let
alone rescuing Rocky from it. In this way, Rocky became the capture of the Four-wing Lame Dragon.
Though Rocky was under the control of the furious beast and couldn't move his legs and arms, he
remained calm. Since the past fifteen days, it was almost his daily routine to face one danger after
another. He was sort of getting used to this life filled with apprehension.
He had trained himself well to remain calm, no matter how bad the situation was. Moreover, in such life
and death situations, getting distracted and panicked was more like committing suicide.
The thread was firm, but it was breakable. As Rocky's hands were wrapped by the side of his body, he
had dropped the idea of cutting them with his Frozen Wind Dagger. The only thing now he could use
was the Evil Flame. In anticipation of burning the silver thread down, he took a deep breath and tried to
direct the spiritual power to form the flame. But it turned out that the threads couldn't be burned and
they were as firm as rocks.
Since his plan didn't produce a result, Rocky racked his brain to come up with a fresh idea. He then
thought of attacking, as the famous saying went, 'Attacking is the best defense.' He decided to use
Dragon Flame Pearl to force the beast to release him. As the Pearl was driven by spiritual power, it was
able to save his life when he was swallowed by the Demonic Devouring Boa.
He then closed his eyes to concentrate and gather enough spiritual power. But as he opened his eyes,
he was surprised to find out that the surrounding scenery was slowly retreating. The Four-wing Lame
Dragon was taking him away.
"It's strange. Why wouldn't it eat me directly?" Rocky asked himself. He was a little confused.
Moreover, the dragon was soaring higher and higher and this was not at all good for him. If he attacked
it, both of them might fall onto the ground and break into pieces. Thus, he had to give up the idea of
attacking too.
However, it was almost an impossible task to break free from the silver thread, that too when he was
still high above in the sky with the beast. Rocky decided to stay silent and see what was about to
happen, because it was quite evident that the beast was in no interest to eat him.
At the same time, while he was thinking of all the possibilities, the dragon had taken him across a vast
jungle, and now they were flying towards what looked to be a very barren valley.
They flew into the valley and a moment later, Rocky found a giant tree standing in their way. It was so
high that its top was in the clouds while its root was deeply in the earth. It was as high and magnificent
as dozens of floors.
The tree was abundant with luxuriant foliage, and at its crown, were numerous long branches,
interlaced with each other like stairs. These stairs were occupied with different kinds of giant nests.
It was something beyond Rocky's imagination. The dragon took him flying to the tree, and as they were
getting nearer, Rocky found lots of Four-wing Lame Dragons going out or inside the tree. The scene
was quite impressive.
"It should be the place where the Four-wing Lame Dragons live and it's really amazing to see so many
of them!" Rocky exclaimed. He had been in this world for a long time, but it was the first time that he
saw such a wondrous place of wild beasts. The scene in front of him was as magnificent as that of the
most advanced 3D movie.
After a quick calculation, he found out that there were roughly as many as thirty nests in number. That
was to say, at least twenty to thirty Four-wing Lame Dragons were living there, and most of them were
above three-star level. Quite a few of them were similar to the one which was holding him right now.
Suddenly, Rocky recalled back that he was actually in captivity now. It was not the time for marvel, but
to consider how he could survive this. He needed to come up with an idea to be alive among these
beasts.
He calmed down and scanned the tree as far as he could. There was a lair on the top of the huge tree, holds text © rights.
which was two times larger than the rest of the remaining lairs. There was a Four-wing Lame Dragon
standing right in front of it. It was a five-star and with just one glance, Rocky felt its overwhelming
power. He held his breath and gazed at it without batting his eyelids.
The fifth grade spirit-manipulated beast at the five-star level was like a master at the Divine Stage of
humans, and it must possess the most terrible power. The only thought of confronting it made Rocky
tremble all over.
The dragon took him to a nest not far away from the largest one. As far as Rocky could see, there were
three small Four-wing Lame Dragons in the nest, which were looking at their direction expectantly. The
moment they spotted them, they waved their wings and screamed at them. Actually, they stared at
Rocky with water dripping from their mouths.
"Oh, God! I'm the dinner of these beasts! Oh, what can I do?" he shouted in his mind. Rocky twisted his
body, only to find that he was tied very tightly.
As expected, the dragon holding him echoed with the little ones in a gentle voice. Suddenly, the silver
threads got loosened up and then he was getting dropped into the nest.
Subsequently, the big dragon didn't get inside the nest, but flew away.
The three little beasts all came to him and surrounded him at the center. They might be babies of the
Four-wing Lame Dragon, but they were much bigger than Rocky. The worst part was that now it was
getting clear that Rocky was in fact the dinner their parent had brought. They just approached him with
the expression of being served now.
