CHAPTER 302 ENCOUNTER SHERIDAN

also knew that there was no assurance he would completely defeat them. In this way, he used the

power at the sixth grade of the Earthly Stage to mislead his opponents. Then he pretended to be

visitor.

advanced forward, face darkened and eyes clouded with revenge. However, he hesitated when

Sheridan smiled at him mysteriously and asked, "Why don't we have a drink, boy?" Sheridan looked

quite excited about the idea.

"A drink?" Rocky licked his lips. He had never gone to the brothel in this world, so he was a little

curious about it.

When Sheridan saw that Rocky was interested in his proposed outing, he winked at him happily and

dragged him away.

They hadn't gone far before they met Marin, who immediately changed course to greet them.

"Where are you going?" Marin asked, feeling curious because Sheridan took Rocky in a hurry. They

seemed to be headed for somewhere important.

"We're going to the place where men should go. Commander Marin, would you like to come with us?"

"I'm a woman. I don't go to that kind of place. Or do you think I'm like a man?" Marin asked while

staring at Rocky. She looked at him in challenge, hinting that she understood his words.

"Marin, let's talk about this later. We have to leave now!" Sheridan interrupted them and started to walk

away.

Rocky shrugged his shoulders as if to say, 'What else can you do?' With a last smile and nod at Marin,

he turned and left with Sheridan.

"Like master, like disciple. You're both good for nothing fools," Marin grumbled, looking at Rocky's

retreating back.

Before long, the duo arrived at the Flower Street, the most famous street in the Evian City. The street

was brightly lit with red lanterns, buzzing with noise and excitement. Women of different styles stood in

front of the brothel doors, soliciting the passing guests.

As expected, only men were present on the streets, besides the women from the brothels.

Moreover, none of them could resist the temptation. Within a few steps, they would be pulled into one

of the brothels by the women.

'I've never seen this place before, ' Rocky sighed in heart. He felt a bit innocent, looking curiously at his

surroundings. Though he had read some words and watched some films about the ancient brothels, it

was quite a different experience to see it in person.

"Lad, this must be your first time coming here. If you want, I could arrange a woman for you. Don't say I

never treat you well. Ha-ha!" Sheridan suggested.

"Really? Are you serious?" Rocky replied blankly. It seemed that Sheridan really thought of him as just

like a nightmare. Though he had been framed up, the experience couldn't be erased from his

memories. He knew it was more painful for the woman he had hurt. Although he didn't intend to evade

his guilty, he had repressed those terrible after being expelled to the frontier. At the back of his mind, he

thought maybe he was the one who should be forgotten by her.
